We love this app for minesweeper, but it cuts our music off when we open it. It would nice if we could play music from the same device that Im playing minesweeper.
We played this game decades ago and decided to take it up again. Can be a challenge at first, but after time you begin to figure out patterns for some parts in the game. Other areas you really need to think it through, but theres always a solution. The game does provide hints if needed. Sometimes all it takes is one square to break the field open and complete the game. The campaigns are awesome! Im halfway through the expert campaign (1,000 games). After each game it lets you know the percentage of people who have gotten that far since beginning the campaign. Even halfway through only 8.5% of those who began have made it that far. Will take a lot of time, but we will complete it. Keep your brain active! Do something that actually makes you think.
Clean user interface, great gamemodes, great no guessing campaign. Multiplayer systems in place are neat.
We love old style games as someone born in 2008, the game is fun to play and a great mind game. Its a shame games arent like this anymore, of perhaps we just have not looked hard enough. Anyway, the game is fun and we 100% recommend it if you are interested in games that make you think. The game also has little to actually no ads at all, so you can just play and play.

This is a pretty good version of minesweeper there's no ad's and they're is a chat also a campaign very good fun.
Good game, but tiles on the left and right edges sometimes require a longer hold to add the flag. Seems to be a latency problem. We bought this years and to this day it hasnt been addressed. Ends up wasting quite a few games. UPDATE: Developer has a workaround, but doesnt really address the bugs in the game. Timing is everything in a game like this, and to have to randomly hold a tile down to mark it is impossible if you arent aware you have to do it. Makes the game barely playable. The game needs to be fixed. This bug has been on here years now.
Ive had this game for a few years, and Ive just now completed the 1,000 game campaign! Each game was completed with zero hints and zero explosions! When we started this game we were pretty bad at it. Im now seeing so many patterns in the field of play and have become 1,000% better at this game! It is NEVER boring to play. Please add more campaigns to this game.
We downloaded this summer 2023 we think, its been nearly two years and Ive finally beaten the last campaign level. Ive loved the customization features, the aesthetic, love that we can play offline. And its wild how much our logical problem solving confidence and speed has improved. Im now going back to redo levels we played ads or used hints for. Sincerely yall, thank you so much for this app.
Good classic game but many many ads after each game made us uninstall it.
Only one that uses the correct font for MS and also has the flag mode which we cannot play without. 10/10 love this app.
We love this game a lot, it helps us calm down and gives our brain a small puzzle to glide through when needed. We dislike the ads, but otherwise this is perfect for playing all the way through in one go, random times when your brain needs a distract, or a nice way to teach your friends how old you really are.
All the other ones have so many horrible advertisements.

We paid for the guess free mode and have yet to have a game we dont need to guess. Total waste of money. Ive been playing this game for decades so Im am 100% certain logic aint gonna cut it and we have to guess.
There are still a few examples in puzzles where the 50-50 functionality still corners you into a 50-50 guess. Im disappointed this was not more thorough and the analysis of non-50-50 puzzles.
This game has so many stats for each game of play but we wish it also has easily accessible stats on your win % and how many games vs wins you have. We like to try and keep our win percentage above 50% when playing and dont have a way to track that on this app. If you added this the game would be darn near perfect.
Please let us turn chord off for online tournaments and also the death match option for tournaments is grayed out (even though it still works). Also we would love to see some more themes! Also the rate this game button shows up way too much with the campaign.
Our old review on Dec. 8, 2022: This was the best minesweeper until the most recent update (around Dec. 5, 2022 we think): – Sound is on, no matter the setting. – Erratic behavior. A ours explodes even when we give the square a long touch. We wonder if it was ever tested before the update release. Update on Dec. 13, 2022 Got a message from the developer that the latest update was in June 2022. Something must have gone wrong with our settings. We removed the app and reinstalled it. The developer was correct. Something had gone wrong with our iPad and we incorrectly blamed it on the app. Thank you for a great game and thank you for taking the time to respond to us.
Ive played multiple versions of Minesweeper, but this one is definitely our favorite! This is the only version Ive seen with so many customization options for gameplay and appearance; rankings for comparing your scores to other players; campaigns with challenging puzzles to solve; and the ability to pay for logic-based games only. 100% would recommend this one.
We see people put TG: mines chat in their username and we have no clue how there is a way to be social with people we are playing with we would really love to be able to share reactions and or comments. We also would love iCloud/multiple device single profile support and Apple game center integration just so that we can get some more new/fun credit for achieving good game times, it is disheartening to have someone go to the top to of the leaderboard playing only barely 100 games and then doing nothing else after except at least one game for 30 days to maintain their status. Things we like about the game: Guess-free mode, Ability to remove ads, Chord customizations, Undo support, Precision timer, and historic Game Replays.

This is a great Minesweeper app as far as gameplay goes. It works really well. There is one issue, however, that can be annoying. We would love to listen to music from our phone while playing the game, just as we do with many others. But this game takes over the sound and we cant listen to music. Other than that, its a great app.
Since the last update. When ever the app opens or you start a new game, the sound comes on louder then your speakers are set. We will not play this game, will prob just delete, until they fix this problem.
We like this app but not being able to listen to our music while we play is very annoying, and has forced us to change the minesweeper app we use.
Maybe it is just us but our version Constantly sets of a ours while we are trying to flag a ours???? No idea why but it is extremely frustrating.

Usually, paying $2.99 would eliminate advertising. Not here. Not good. Otherwise, good implementation of a classic game. Maybe Im missing something, but it would be good to know how many mines remain. Not a game changer, but hey.
We heard about this game being multiplayer so we downloaded it. We didnt expect it to be so active, we can usually find matches to play at all times of the day. We also really like the promotion and points system. Would recommend.
This app is absolutely stunning. Our mind is absolutely blown and we are literally in shock of the quality of this game. The regular game is amazing and whenever we get a randomized game we barley ever get a 50/50 situation. The beginner, intermediate, and expert mode are crafted perfectly with a perfect amount of tiles and mines. We ABSOLUTELY LOVE the campaign mode that you guys have created, it perfectly teaches beginners and has amazingly made levels to help people to learn the complex patterns we love it so mutch you guys did an amazing job. And dont even get us started on the online mode that is the greatest thing we have ever seen in our entire life the online is so fun and the point system is beautiful we cant believe the online mode we love it so mutch, let us know if there is any way to support you guys because we would love to support if you keep updating the game and stuff thank you for this awesome app.
We love this implementation of the game. Every setting you could possibly want to change can be, and its awesome. The campaign is super long and plenty challenging. Ads can be removed and deterministic (guess free) boards can be purchased, which we think is fair especially considering active development and online play support. There are however still features that could be added to improve upon the app. For instance… – a code to transfer your profile from one device to another – support for 3D Touch we know if these features at least were added, itd be an ultimate win for us. Props to the developer in our opinion. (Used and reviewed on iPhone X).
This is THE best minesweeper app available on the mobile market. Every aspect of it is great. But we would sincerely hope that recursive chord and flagging chord can be banned from world ranking, or at least provide a separate list for players who use them. This two options are virtually cheating and unfair to players who sticks to the classic minesweeper game mode.
This app would be PERFECT if it didnt freeze as often as it does (at least once per game). It causes us to lose against whoever we are against every time, so it take the competitive aspect away for us which is annoying. The app also sometimes closes altogether when im in the middle of a game, which is also frustrating. With that said, if this app did not freeze as often as it does and if it didnt close altogether in the middle of playing sometimes, then we would absolutely love this app and id give it all 5 stars. So, we hope those technical issues get fixed.
Not having to guess anymore fixed our biggest peeve with minesweeper, and we cant play without it now. We wish there was support for adding friends though; we like to play with our friend across the country every now and then.
