Grab control of the simplest little coal power plant simulator on the app store. Simple touch screen operation allows you to take control of some critical power plant processes starting from coal supply all the way to power on the grid. Your GOAL is to keep the power plant running to achieve the highest score possible. Send the coal truck out for another load of coal to maintain coal bunker level. Control makeup water flow to the boiler to maintain steam drum level. Control firing rate of the boiler to maintain steam pressure. Control steam flow to the turbine and generator to maintain load. In time game gets increasingly more difficult to play.

Great game! Theory and controls are accurate to operating an actual plant. Of course the real thing is a bit more involved but this game offers a tad bit of the excitement.
We actually work at a power plant and this game was more challenging, well the first time we played it. Lots of fun!
We run a bunch of power plants in real life and this little simulator is fun! Wish we have a boiler that reacted that fast at our job !
As an operator for our occupation this was almost too much like being at work! Haha. We like the slight delay in steam pressure and drum levels when making load changes. Very realistic. The biggest issue – we don’t see a pause button any where in the version we have. We can’t possibly be expected to play non stop for hours. Reminds us of the Atari days. No pause, no save, nothing. Play or DIE!!! Haha.
We love this little game, it is fun. Id like to see more out of this game though, the buttons are a bit small, UI could use some work, and functionality like pausing isnt implemented. We got around 1,500 points on hard mode before our hand got tired of tapping the buttons every time the demand changed. We ended up deliberately letting the coal run out, to save the score. The game has no audio. Mechanic wise, the game is really far ahead of anything else we’ve seen on the AppStore that is close to realistic in the simulation. Id just wish it was a bit more complex. Perhaps you have to manage the damage of the steam turbines. Upgrades, money management? Either way, the game is fairly priced, and for a dollar, it is worth it to check out.
