Dive into Morningstar: Descent Deadrock

Crash-landed on a desolate, alien planet, what should’ve been a routine work-for-hire job for Powell has become a deadly mission to save the merchant vessel Morningstar and her crew. With one man dead and the captain gravely injured, Powell is on his own to repair the ship and find a way to escape the strange gravity well of the empty planet they’ve landed on.

And if the situation weren’t dire enough, the only signs of life on the planet are the remains of a much larger and better equipped ship and her crew, all dead, and not by natural means. What–or who–brought down these ships and is killing their crews? For what reason? And can Powell find a way off-planet before he shares the same fate?

Find out what gamers are saying about Morningstar: Descent Deadrock:

Great interface and fun puzzles. Top notch.

We had a lot of fun with this, despite it being a rather quick game (admittedly we used the Captain’s hints rather frequently). The production values are excellent.

We start the game up, watch the intro video, and then the game gets stuck with a black screen and music that will play forever if we let it. We have tried reinstalling the game several times and we get the exact same problem every time, a black screen with beautiful in depth music for us to admire as we stare endlessly at a beautiful black image.

Great gameplay, good graphics for a puzzle game, challenging without feeling impossible.

First p n c adv we’ve played in awhile, luv’d, please dew more!

Love puzzle adventure games, this is one of the best ever. We love how your puzzles actually make sense, like "find a wrench and fix a pipe" instead of some games which are basically medallions and fanciful keys and crap that makes no sense. Please develop more games along these lines, we would pay for them all! Very high quality. Would dig various genres too, sci fi is great but horror/thriller stuff would be fun, archeology/period stuff, or whatever. Thank you!

We love the game is like the bets.

Devs did a nice job of trying to give the game a bit of a cinematic feel. Story was interesting, plot made us think a bit of Lifeline. Graphics and sound are good, particularly the music. Puzzles are of low to medium difficulty. A few tasks must be completed in an order that isn’t necessarily intuitive, but not a big deal. SPOILER ALERT. We did like the effort required to learn a bit of the alien sign system, though given the limited symbol set and number of fields, it appears that, by our reckoning, the number of species that could be catalogued would be relatively small.

We play a LOT of these type games and thought this one was very enjoyable! Fabulous story line, great graphics, and fun puzzles. Please make more!!!

Exciting, interesting story and nicely done sound and graphics. Exactly the kind of adventure game we love.

We like the game but we can’t figure out how to override the ventilator fan in the generator building.

Definitely engrossing, worth the money, but left us wanting more. A couple very non-intuitive puzzles but otherwise felt very rewarding solving them. We reeally wanted more story details around the alien race. We think they rushed a bit because it seemed like they wanted to tell more story. Wish they did. Narration is awful just turn it off.

Game sticks on loading screen. Reinstalled and it worked for a couple of days before it sticks on loading screen again. We’re running an iPad Air 32GB with plenty of room.

Fun and engaging but broken on newest phone.

Watching a Loading Screen for 4 Hours Simulator 2015.

The voiceover was obnoxious as was the incessant flashing arrows. No way to stop them and just get into the game. Delete.

Although the product loads, there are multiple technical problems: (1) UI items load in the wrong place when in landscape mode on our iPad mini, making the display almost impossible to view. (2) The music, voiceover, and sound effect all continue to play when deselected in the menu (and restarting the app and the device itself. (3) Numerous game play flaws, e.g. After using the steel rod to move the cargo canisters blocking the way to the landing bay(?), they remain in place and the Captain repeats that you have to move them. But after the first try, the action "target" disappears, so it’s impossible to try again. Based on reading some of the walkthroughs and what we’ve seen in the first 5 rooms, the gameplay only works correctly if you perform tasks in an exact order. Grab the wrench before the toy doll and you’ll never see that doll again and never get into the engine room. Really wanted to enjoy this game, but not willing to restart from scratch every time we figure out where your programmers skimped on logic.

IPhone 6s+ … Game is stuck on a … Beautiful loading screen… With chimes. Would like to give the game a try……. Broken … Waste of money.

We tried to contact through email but it did not go through. The screen is not playable and it almost seems like the picture is too big for the screen and the right side of the screen is black. We would appreciate a refund. Thanks.
