A horrible tornado hit King Sigmund's kingdon and woke up an evil dragon. Now it's up to you, Arthur, a brave knight, to restore the land and roads to escort Princess Helen back to her uncle.

Fun, addictive. Requires more thinking to complete challenges, than other games similar to this one. We just wish it explained the how the points are scored.
Very challenging and fun. Wish there were more levels! We are going to get the sequel for sure.
Starts out kinda slow then gets super addicting and a lot of fun. Great graphics and music. We tried beating all the levels on expert mode and it is very challenging. ( still haven't beat them all.) The only minor complaint we have is some levels seem to be easier then others. But don't let this deter you, it's great to play.
Nice to play a game that is challenging without being frustrating. Enjoy the music and love the concept and graphics.

We love this game. We finished it but didn't get all our castle pieces. You have to really think through how to complete some levels. The same technique doesn't work for every one of them. That's another thing we love.
In one of the snow levels we need 50 of everything to pass and it will only let us get 40. Help.
This game is generally fun, providing enjoyment on most levels. However, some levels are incredibly frustrating. On certain levels, it's seemingly impossible to fully beat the level before the "Hurry, night is approaching" message comes up. If it weren't for this frustration, we would give the game five stars but replaying those levels over and over only to lose as the worker is returning from his final task makes us think that the game is flawed.
Honestly one of our favorite games of all time. We like to reinstall it to play again over and over. We really hope they bring back 2 and 3. Much better than the fourth game of the same name.
We have loved these games for years! We just wish the second and third versions were available again.
We can finally finish this game without it crashing or losing progress after the first 10 levels. We really wish theyd fix the other versions. This is one of our favorite games.
Although we loved the PC version, as others have mentioned, this version seemed broken. However, as of July 2019, it now works for us. We assume the latest update a year ago fixed the issues. Hopefully, the other levels (II, III, and 4), will also be fixed soon. We have purchased those versions too, but find it either doesnt save progress, or it doesnt unlock all stages and crashes after the first two stages.

This is a resource management game (you gather wood, food and gold) and use it to achieve certain objectives (like building bridges, roads and buildings). We fell in love with this game as a PC game and we think they works great as an Ipad game (in fact we bought all three of the Kingdom for the Princess games) The framing story of the game is slightly weird but it can be ignored since it doesn't really affect what you do in the game.
We love this series. We have all three on PC, and have always thought it would be a lot better on a touchscreen. It IS. Nuff said. Buy now.
Awesome game. Love the PC version as much as the iPad version.
This game has a lot of potential, but we found it very boring in that we could not queue the jobs for the worker, and that he had to return to the house each time. You could not redirect any actions, and a lot of time is wasted (time management?) Time builders, and northern tales allow you to do those things, which make those games a lot of fun. We paid for this game, thinking as you went along they would allow you to multi tap, and redirect, but no. We deleted this game. Save your money.
Don't waste your money on this game it is terrible. You are not given enough time to do the tasks, half the time you are just waiting for your resources to build up.
The new version of our Kingdom for a Princess has a very annoying ad at the top center of the screen that flashes and blocks resources and buildings, making the game literally unplayable on some levels. We can't imagine who thought this was a good idea. A great game, ruined.
We bought all three of these games on our computer, then purchased them all again for our IPad. We enjoyed them enough to pay for them twice. Under other circumstances, we would be happy to give it 5 stars. However, the current IPad version has an ad on the top of the screen. Guess what? This INTERFERES WITH GAME PLAY. We cannot complete the level we are on, because we cannot remove the ad, and cannot remove the ghost underneath it. What the hell? We do not expect ads in games we have purchased, and we certainly do not expect ads to prevent us from playing.
We are looking for number 4 or 5 So were is it at.
The cannibal was the first person of color in the game, and was such a racist stereotype that it was actively distracting to us. An obstacle that requires an army makes sense, but you could have made that obstacle any number of things without stereotyping like that.
We love this game but wish it had more levels.
Oh frabjous day! We have been enjoying the MKFTP series on the computer for months. Now to be able to take it with us wherever we go is wonderful! Our only problem is the fact that, sometimes, our taps don't register and we have to tap the screen 2 or 3 times before our little guy responds. Maybe it's the program, maybe it's our ipad, maybe it's our finger – – dunno which. So far, it isn't a problem as we're in the early stages where time isn't much of a factor – – yet. But as levels get more difficult, it could mean the difference between being able to build our castle or, even worse, being eaten by the dragon. Ok, itunes – where's # 3 please? And, to the game developers – – we, out here in the hinterlands, are awaiting # 4 with baited breath! Impatient? Who? Us.
This is our "go to" game when we need a brain break. We love it, and can't wait for more.
We think this is one of the best games out there but it bothers us that we now have to pay another $4 for the 2nd game when the first version wasn't all that long (we beat it twice) we think more levels should have been added to the 1st game or just charge people who have the first game 99 cents. Other than that this game is a must buy.

This is still the best Resource Management game around. (there needs to be a new category for this type of game – its not the run of the mill dart back and forth time management game) The graphics are great, each level is different and expert level is challenging! Thanks for the updates! We're all ready for part 3.
The game is really fun. It's a good mix between several strategy / time management games out there. The only thing that is stopping this from 5 stars is to make the full game an in app purchase from the lite version. Its just a mild annoyance that could be fixed.
We love big fish games, and we thought this one was great! However, what we don't love is the "unlock full version in the game" business. If we want to just buy it outright without trying, why can't we? This was a huge problem for us and our husband when we were on a cruise. We thought we had gotten the full version, but guess what!? We didn't have the full version and as we're sure you can imagine, we had no Internet access on the ship. Bottom line, those games were paid for but we had no new games to enjoy.
We installed the update and lost the 3 chats we had completed! Because we enjoy the game we don't mind too much we have to redo the levels but 3.11 was a killer.
The game seems simplistic at first but it gets complicated! …and the graphics are truly great.
This is by far our favorite game on the iPad. It is a superb example of a resource management game. Hours of gameplay, and getting gold on all of the levels offers a good challenge, but it IS possible. This game was worth every penny and we desperately hope they release another or expand this into more levels. To a previous reviewers comment about a glitch with the game only counting 20 resources when you need 40, you have to upgrade the warehouse in order to be able to hold more than 20.
We just love this game. It's challenging and fun. We can't find another game like this one. We have completed the game 3 times, we liked it so much we contacted the developer to find out if a part II would be coming out, we're so excited MKFTP II should be out in a couple of weeks, can't wait. You will not be disappointed.

When we purchased this app, we relied solely on the reviews and the rating. Needless to say, this is by far one of the best apps we have purchased for our iPad. We are totally addicted to this game and we introduced our sister to this game and she can't out it down either. We find ourselves fighting over who will play next lol. It's also funny that the time passes by so fast playing this game that we happen to look up at the blinds and the sun is beginning to peek through :) you will not regret spending you money for this app…and don't worry, you can thank us later ;).
This is a well done app. The touch interface works great, the gameplay is truly fun, addictive, and challenging. One of our favorite games on the iPad right now.

Edit: we finished this one a few months ago and we are sooooooo ready for MKFP II! We just started playing it on our PC but, what we would truly love, is to play it on our iPad! PLEASE, we don't care what you have to do… Just crank that baby out ASAP! THANKS! Oh Wow, we can't believe it! We love to play this endlessly on our PC and now we get to play on the go with our iPad; Yay, we're in heaven!! This game app offers a combination of cute graphics, an adorable/ funny storyline, and unique play mechanics; resulting in a must buy for ANY and ALL TM and Strategy game fans. If you're still a bit leery about the price, we can tell you, the hours of enjoyment and mind-stretching strategy, makes it worth every penny! It's true, the little things in life really do give you the most pleasure, so don't hesitate, just buy.
Saw this game previewed on a podcast(vidcast) and decided to give the free version a try. We were NOT disappointed. The free version gave you enough of the game to really get a feel for how it works. We like games that are challenging but overly stressful. This game gives plenty of challenge and enjoyment! We have a Mac so have not experienced in on the computer… So we're glad they brought it to the iPad! Thank you.. Great game.
