Find out what gamers are saying about Mystery of the Ancients: Mud Water Creek (Full):

Enjoyable game. Beautiful graphics, pleasant music & an interesting story. Have encountered no glitches & there are NO IN-AP PURCHASES!

We think this might be one of our favorites. Good mini games, interesting hidden object games, spooky! No technical problems on our iPad.

We Love this game. We were in the middle of playing The X, when the game just crashed . So we decided to let a little time pass before playing that one again so we decided to play this one. What a fun and entertaining game! There’s nothing about it that we Don’t like. This is def in the top 10.

Good story. The game you use to defeat the bad guys was so much fun we might go back and play it again. Our only complaint is that they didn’t give you access to the in-game puzzles after completing the story.

So often we get bored with games, which are formulaic and repetitive, but not with those developed by Mariaglorum. They are consistently entertaining, and it is obvious that a lot of time and ingenuity has gone into each game. The puzzles in this game were clever, and the art beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

We buy about one of these games a week and don’t always review, but this one we really liked! It was a little creepy and had original ideas and different seek scenes. We are very casual player and sometimes the puzzles of other games are too intricate, but these were fun instead of being frustrating. Overall great game. Buy!

We love this game. We play a lot of different games, this by far our favorite.

One of the best to come along in a while. Had a good story line, great graphics, puzzles that were interesting but not so involved that they ruined the flow of the game. This is a good one.

Great game in a great series! We’ve enjoyed every Mystery of the Ancients game and this one did not disappoint! Cant wait for the next one!!!!

We’re having fun with this cool game on our iPad Mini.

This game everything we wanted adventure seek and find and suspense.

This game was interesting and fun. The graphics were wonderful, we only wished the game was longer. We will however, play it over and over!

It was good and creepy, but it was also short. We were done in less than a day, and pretty easy compared to some of big fishs others.

The storyline is a little goofy and not terribly unique, but not outright stupid. The puzzles are varied enough to be interesting and the HOPs were often quite good. It’s worth a sale price, but not $6.99. It’s good for a rainy Sunday afternoon.

Game did not have the hidden object patches as the older one did – only 4 and the rest were games, half of which did not work. Big fish was a regular mothly fee and they still have over A$300 worth of credit from us and cant seem to get it so can use it or have it returned to us. This crashed twice before we got through the main game so we would not recommend unless you like going back an beginning again a lot.

We wish Big Fish had better quality control. This game had the same problem on the PC platform months ago where it locks up after escaping the maze. Exact same problem on iOS now… Two thirds of the way through and it’s unusable. Their solution to delete and re-download means starting over. Not really an option. This seems to happen with about 20% of BF games lately. Very disappointed.

We paid this much opening it in the app. Would you please reimbursed us for the extra $2.00 we were charged. Mystery of the Ancients: Mud Water Creek, Full Game Unlock + Bonus Content Report a Problem In-App Purchase $6.99 $6.99 $3.99 $6.99 $6.99 $6.99 $6.99 $6.99 $6.99.

Total malfunction in game including so call update to fix.

Good game until later stages (room where the refrigerator is) then the bottom area (menu, guide, inventory, hints – all of them) just disappears so you can no longer do anything.

Really good game with good graphics until it wouldn’t work. Opened it up to find the map, hint, everything else gone as well. Can’t do anything. Would advise to wait until this is fixed to puchase it, although other don’t seem to have the same problem.

Latest update has broken this game. When we go to the crypt area all that can be seen is a bright white background. Perfectly fine yesterday.

Just in time for the Halloween season here comes a spooky offering to set the mood. Lots of rats, bats, bones, bodies and really wicked ghosts. Probably not for younger players. Custom difficulty, good map, entertaining ferryman who tells you stories as he takes you to your next location. Some unique HO (catch moving fish etc). Verdict: buy and enjoy!

We’re trying to play this game, but we paid for it and it’s not downloading, what’s up? We’ve tried everything! To no avail we’re getting no where! We’re downloading other games no problem, just big fish games, don’t get it cause we’ve been a playing these games since 2013! Now games we’ve gotten are not there when we try to play them they say, not found for that when we know darn good and well we’ve played before!

Loving these Mystery of the Ancients games! Great storyline, great graphics. Just tap on your found object and tap where you need it to go… Our iPad is losing sensitivity, so we really hate the games that you have to drag items. Our only semi-complaint is all the "video cut always" makes the file size huge (again, old iPad, so not a lot of extra room available). Overall though, LOVE THIS GAME!

Really enjoyed this game. Took us a while to defeat the butcher, but we finally did it. Great graphics and map. Interesting puzzles and hops. Well worth the price.

Great story good interactive items and different hidden object games. Our kind of game.

We spend way too much money on these games and rarely write a review unless they are really bad or really good. This one was really good.

Rating: 4.5 stars rounded up to 5 Another great game by MariaGlorum. We’re still playing this game, but no real glitches (see below), touchy placements or long lags between scenes so far. The good: Clear, colorful graphics, collectible bats (not too hard to find) and statues in the zoomed scenes. Custom mode of play, transportable map which shows available actions. Strategy guide doesn’t make you re-start the game. The bad: there was one scene where the sounds and visuals didn’t line up; am hoping this is a one-of and not a regular occurrence. A wee bit tired of being a detective of the paranormal yet again (which is why we’re particularly excited about an upcoming game – see end of review) The ugly: nothing to report here. Upcoming games: Echoes of the Past: Wolf Healer (3.5 stars average review on Big Fish, by Orneon, released in Oct. ’14) – seems a bit old, not sure how well the game holds up against the newer offerings Beyond: Light Advent (4.5 stars, Mad Head Games, July ’15) – am excited at this rare science fiction game from one of our favorite developers European Mystery: Flowers of Death (4.5 stars, Blam Oct. ’15) Shadow Wolf Mystery: Curse of Wolfhill (3.6 stars, ERS, Feb. ’16) Curio Society: New Order (4 stars, Domini Games, May ’16)

This one of the best games we’ve ever played. This is five stars all the way. Please get more like this!!!

When we saw that one of the gamers mentioned this was a Maria Glorum game, we bought without hesitation. We have been waiting for one of her games to play. We have never been disappointed. Now to play and we’re sure to enjoy. Thank you gamer…. Key West Jessa.

Just finished this game and it was one of those ones we hated to finish because it was so much fun! The game kept us interested the whole time. The puzzles were were so varied and interesting. We haven’t enjoyed a game as much as this one in a long time. Can’t wait for the next one!!

Very intriguing, suspenseful and spooky challenge. Loved the graphics, especially the interactive hidden object scenes! Totally intense storyline with lots to do and see. Nice map, Erie music to set the mood! Just outstanding!!! A must buy. Thank You Big Fish, KdBoots.

We don’t rate games but this one was great! The graphics were excellent.

Loved the variety of the HOP’s. Great job to all!!

Everything was perfect with this game and it was really immersive. It was well formatted for iphone too. Loved the unique hidden object scenes and ability to make choices with different outcomes. Mariaglorum makes some of the best hidden object games we’ve played so far!

We never write reviews but this games graphics are stunning.. The games fluid. The story is a bit off but the beautiful graphics and music make up for it.

Wish it was longer… Finished in one night.

We had a nice time playing but completed it in a short time. Games should be longer to justify spending money.

One glitch on the Match 3, restarted w no progress loss, on iPad2. Nice graphics, better than average HO play, and puzzles with interesting twists. Map works well, no hint use yet on casual gameplay. Find the hidden bats and figures.

To Nothingsmurf: Thank you for your kind words; we appreciate it. We’re sure you know what we mean! Even though we’re a die-hard horror fan, we find myself feeling consistently ambushed by one prevailing genre as opposed to being favorably exposed to miscellaneous categories, such as enchanting fantasy and classic mystery. We do hope the next several games divert away from this current trend of darkness and despair. This premise does not promote any new concepts or creative thinking; rather, it implements a "borrowed" storyline where a supernatural force is wreaking havoc as it tries to disrupt harmony between a man and his true love. Having said that, we are actually really enjoying this game. Progression is logical and is enriched by the characters you interact with. The mysterious, hooded boatman is an integral part of your journey as he reveals his knowledge of the myths and fables of the surrounding vicinities while transporting you between locations through the eerie, murky, and swampy creek; each landfall illustrates its own distinct setting with a connective tale to enhance your experience. The graphics are satisfactory with a fairly smooth visual presentation; they are not as muddled or unpolished as in other series. The color scheme is wholly blemished by a chronic, humdrum tinge of purplish-blue; jeez….. How about red or orange next time? Customized settings are offered; you may take off those pesky sparkles. Inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. The map gives brisk teleport to each location and indicates available actions. Transition is effortless and flowing; no stalling this time! Touch sensitivity is efficient with regards to the acquiring and placing of items; immediate response to our input is recognized. The HOS are varied with a gratifying medley of assorted forms to appease everyone’s palate. Some are highly imaginative and demiurgic; for example, we love the scene where you feed the raccoon as he gives you items from a toolbox. There are others that demonstrate elements of ingenuity, but we will not ruin your sake of surprise. The puzzles are inventive and pleasing; some are relative to certain actions in performance, such as when you place boards to fit within a block of cells in order to cross the bridge. The collectibles are either highly visible or can blend into the background fairly well since the graphics are mainly dusky. We took off a star due to lack of a journal and for the weariness of a repetitive horror theme. Overall though, this is an engaging game with the coveted features that we all yearn for, together with an ample amount of diversity and creativity; we think it’s worth your time.

Dracyy, you will be proud of us! We wasn’t afraid of the RAT, but only because we are way more terrified of Hurricane Matthew, a category 5 hurricane heading towards Florida! Please Dracyy, KimTwilight and the whole DTE, say a prayer for us! We need it! On to the game. After two nightmarish and tedious games from Elefun, this game was a joy to play. Mariaglorium, we often forget about you but you give us amazing games! You can customize settings. The graphics were not as vibrant, but they weren’t supposed to be in a horror game. They were still magnificent and detailed, and the cut-scenes were electrifying and mesmerizing. Inventory was labeled, interactive and there were complex items to assemble. We didn’t get a journal, but objectives were regularly updated and the storyline wasn’t hard to follow. There was a marked, if so customized teleport map and loading was instantaneous between locations. At each location you can collect a hidden bat and at certain locations there were figurines to collect. The HO scenes were excellent and varied, and some were more like puzzles. You had a magical amulet to dispel evil spirits and there was a mini-game attached to using it. Some of the ghosts were actually altruistic and gave you items to help you. We actually played all the puzzles and games without skipping, even the rotational ones, because the more you do them, the sharper your brain becomes. Gameplay was very smooth and inventory usage was terrific because you could just click on an item to place it instead of having to drag it! The only reason we deducted a star was due to lack of a journal and also for length. This game was very short even with the bonus adventure. We are in total agreement with KimTwilight. Just because Halloween is approaching doesn’t mean we have to get all scary and gloomy games. We should still have a mix in this genre of fantasy, crime, suspense, fairy tales and romance. We need beautiful games too, BigFish! We are surprised we haven’t gotten another gem from EIPIX or Mad Head at this point. We wouldn’t mind something from Sunward or BOOLAT either as they both create incredible games! Lynxie sends to our amazing DTE and all the reviewers who enjoyed this fabulous game!

Game locked up on Dead Island. Will reboot, this piece of Crap!

After you try to give the piece of paper to the boatman, it kicks you to the big map. Press on the first island. That is where you need to go. You will then place the figure with the scythe on the right hand side of the screen. Good luck folks. We enjoyed this game. Experienced several more minor glitches, so only rated 3 stars.

Ok game but very dark and disturbing in parts.

The farm location will not come up. We liked the game, but it freezes up.

Fun, but too easy and too short. Disappointed that these games are being churned out every day and aren’t more challenging. Frustrating.
