Outstanding! I’d give it 10 stars if we could.

It doesn’t matter! This game is as cool as ice! Our beloved canine, Elf, has returned looking as "doggone" cute as ever to help you advance your journey; Elf must be devouring natural and organic dog treats because he has still retained his youthful appearance after all of these years! The graphics, unfortunately, have a washed out presentation and are not very crisp or clear. Furthermore, the colors blue, purple, and white (obviously) are dominant throughout most of the scenes creating a redundant visual representation of the environment. This installment reminds us of the movie "The Thing" whereas the setting takes place at a lab in a snowy, stormy location with menacing creatures known as the Coldstalkers creating a nightmare for the inhabitants. They are unique creatures engineered to allow them to change their appearance to manipulate people and progress their hostilities. There are some fun elements in this game, such as using a scanner bling device to detect heat and other energy sources; you will use it to scan some areas to find multiples of symbols. There is the ability to customize your settings. The inventory is labeled, and items will require assembly. The teleport map has smooth transition; and in custom mode, it will indicate that there are objectives and tasks to complete. You can view your diary, collectibles, and achievements through the map as well. The HOS are fun and varied; several types are word lists with interaction, find the silhouette shapes, and collect pairs of items. In reference to the puzzles, this series has been reconstructed to include the same type of puzzle boards that are prevalent in the Mystery Case Files series; namely, Fates Carnival and Dire Grove. You work your way around from one mini puzzle or section to another until you have achieved the complete solution. Some other puzzles are skill based, such as when you must steer the snowmobile through the path at high speed avoiding obstacles or you start all over. You collect morphing objects in the locations, and morphing character statues in some. You also collect stars mainly in the pop-ups for a starry sky game in the extras. You also have the secret room in the extras where you replay HOS and puzzles in accordance with speed and accuracy – not our cup of tea. However, we love this series; and it never gets old – as Elf does not. Very enjoyable installment free of any glitches!

We like the games that are progressive and u aren’t having to back track a million times. Fun game.

We’re a big fan of Mystery Trackers games and Elephant, so we purchased Winterpoint at once! As usual, we have found no glitches or obvious errors in the game. You, the Detective, are in Alaska trying to stop the prehistoric Cold Stalkers who were awakened. The Stalkers are attempting to freeze the entire world with the help of a device. (Mr. Freeze, anyone?) Many of the games in this episode are mechanical or mathematical in nature. Your little cute dog friend, Elf, is with you again, climbing to retrieve objects for you. The Cold Stalkers have the additional ability to assume the form of any human or animal, making your task more difficult. The Hidden Objects include the Match Two Hidden Items and other variables. Along your path, you find many Morphing Objects and Collectibles. One of the interesting new twists is a sky full of stars which you collect one star at a time! Nice! Also, you have devices like a cell phone, a laptop computer, and glasses that detect "activity" in your area. All of these features add up to a game that is well worth your money! North to Alaska!

One of the very best M.T. Games of them all. Each hidden object game was different, some better and more unusual than others (and not too many of them, thank goodness)! Some of your very best and never before seen mini-games as well!! Well done! You guys keep outdoing yourselves with each one of these! Loved it! Bravo.

We have always loved Mystery Trackers,I love All of he games. He one is different in a good Way, it’s always good to shake things up now And again. Well done Bigfish. Oh and our favorite friend Elf, is good to have around. Please do more mystery trackers games.!

The only problem was the triangle pieces toward the end. Had to restart as one was missing then restarted and it appeared. Weird. Loved because we hate ghost games and such but this had a great sci-fi type story.

Elf! Big fan of Elf. Had to mention that first. Plus excellent game!

One of the best Mystery Tracker games so far !! Great graphics, interesting storyline, teleporting map, customizable game mode (which is a BIG plus, in our opinion), puzzles are interesting and not to difficult, HO , morphing objects, and stars to collect, and of course Elf, the ever faithful little companion. Definitely a game we would play more than once. Keep up the great work developers, and please keep making more games, like this one !!

Kudos to Big Fish and Elephant games for a total 5 star game!

First, we want to mention the length of the game, it is a standard length, that you will find in any other game, nice and long, so don’t be misguided by some reviews. And it is another gem from Elephants, one of their best and for less of the price. You will find plenty of new stuff, the game is dynamic and interactive and very enjoyable.

Love this series! Great storyline, wonderful hidden object scenes, puzzles and nice teleporting map. Elf is just too cute and what a helper. Always, look forward to this series. They never disappoint. Thank You, for such an incredible adventure. A must buy! Pure enjoyment. KdBoots.

The best Hint button transports to the next location. You can customize the Hint and Skip buttons. Exciting story line, beautiful graphics. We wish the game is longer.

Love the suspense of the game! Keep it coming!

Great story line, wonderful graphics. Mystery Tracker is never a let down. As always Elephant has done the job right the first time.

Best one we’ve played in a very long time. Elephant does it again!!

So enjoyed this one. Look forward to more.

Finally, a game that has all the details of a challenging, fun game plus an interesting story that follows its plot line and does not disappoint. Original collectibles, morphing objects, humorous surprise achievements, collecting STARS (who wouldn’t enjoy collecting stars??) and a setting in our home of Interior Alaska. We can relate to the climate! We’re a happy camper. Good job, developers! *Update: completed the game. Still hold a high opinion of the clever design that went into this game. Suggestions for developers- 1. Some of the HO objects were very tiny and hard to discern. Can you enlarge them a bit? 2. Nobody teaches Alaska history well anywhere, except the university history profs in AK or Native elders. We’ve studied with both. May we help? You wove your Alaska setting better than any game we’ve encountered. However, there are 11 different Native groups in AK. Two are Eskimo (Yupik, Inuit), one Aleuts, and the others are various Indian tribes. The Interior is populated with the Indian tribes, while the northern and west/southwest coastal regions are inhabited by the Eskimos. Only the Tlingit tribe, an Indian tribe in the relatively warmer SE stretch of Alaska built and used totems as they were located near the lush Tongass forest. Eskimo and Interior Indians didn’t build totems due to needing all available wood for burning simply to keep warm (-60 degree temps). Just some notes for authenticity :)

We’ve played mostly big fish games and have not had any problems with games by big fish there always fun and challenging a little expensive but we think it’s worth the cost you always have.

Another great game by Elephant Games! As usual Elephant Games delivers on all fronts: graphics, sound, and gameplay. We did knock one star off because the bonus chapter was really short.

This game had a lot of good elements but we just did not enjoy it. There were varying levels of difficulty. It did have beautiful wintry graphics and exciting cut-scenes. The story was easy to follow. You get a bling scanner, a cell phone and your doggie Elf to help you. Lots of collectibles, including stars. Loading was instantaneous between locations and there was a marked teleport map to get you there. Inventory was labeled and there were plus items. The HO scenes were varied and interesting. A lot of the mini-games were rotational stuff that we don’t really like, but some we did enjoy. The game was short, even with bonus adventure, and that is the main reason for deducting a star. We also felt it was slightly glitchy at times, but maybe it was us. At least for once Elephant didn’t torture us with RATS! Maybe if our head was in a different place we would have liked it better, but we are experiencing a lot of medical issues and not thinking as clearly as we usually do. Dream Team Elite, please check out the New York Mysteries games from a developer called Five-BN! Amazing! KimTwilight mentioned them and they were fabulous. We are lucky to have her; she finds more games for us than BigFish, lol! Lynxie sends to all!

We like Elf, and he’s in this game… Yay! But while all the fundamentals are great, the plot just doesn’t work with the MT series. And we’re used to some innovative thinking from this series, but this didn’t have any. We wasn’t going to review, because most of the other reviewers have made similar comments. Just So so so SO predictable. Find oil for a rusty lock, check. Use a coin to unscrew something, check. Run up stairs to battle the bad guy, check. And on and on. So, there’s not much new we can say, except that some reviewers have said the game is short. We didn’t find it short… Just puerile, boring and cold. So, for us, it’s a three star game and Elf gets his own little extra star. Hope all the reviewers are well. We saw Lynx has medical issues, sending prayers. And good wishes to all. Thank you for the excellent reviews.

We don’t tend to write reviews too often but we felt this game warranted a mediocre review. We were excited that it was a mystery tracker game. We think that was the problem. We were expecting a bit more. We always play on the casual mode but this was waaaay too easy and simple. We think it would have been more appropriate for our 8 year old. That said, it worked fine and was cohesive.

Always love working with our faithful Elf. Rest of the game is okay. Kinda short.

This was a good game but definitely didn’t seem a lot like the usual Mystery Trackers games. Except for Elf there wasn’t much else to make it feel like a part of the series.

Game is ok, way too short and one of the multi-part mini games had a glitch where symbols did not appear, so it had to be skipped.

Good game, but it was so short. We feel cheated. We never write reviews, but we think this is warranted.

This one was pretty bad. Who decided to take a chihuahua to the north pole and have it dig in snow? The guy in the lighthouse telephones you but then refuses to meet you? There are these super advanced creatures called northern men but they use magic because reasons. The inuit kid saying we must stop the northern man was unintentionally hilarious – we played him like a beat box. And the driving game had horrendous, tear-your-hair-out controls. The bonus game hung on us and we felt relieved.

Save your money.. The game is waaaaayyyy too short!!! It starts out good but then just gets very weak and disappointing.. We swear its employees of big fish that right all the "best game ever" reviews.. This is the worst mystery trackers.. A definite rip off!!!

Puzzles are all super easy. No logic or skill required. If you’re looking for a mindless game that can be solved with busy work and in under a day, this is it!

UNBELIEVABLY short, even at the sale price. Shame, because the game, what there was of it was great. Buying BF games is like gambling. Be prepared to lose your money. Long time customers are probably familiar with their abysmal customer "service". A new low for us was the latest Dark Dimensions: Homecoming. There were problems with the game. Big surprise, right? What was new was that instead of their usual do nothing, deny the problem, or blame the customer, they did somethings different. They did the right thing and updated the app…. NOT. Actually, they did fix the app. The problem is that instead of issuing it as an update for those of us who had paid the broken app, they released the fixed version as a SEPARATE app. That way, they get rid of those pesky negative reviews so they can attract new buyers while completely screwing over the old buyers. They gave it a shiny new release date and 1.0 version number but the old broken app is still right there in the App Store. Also, this week, we discovered that the old buy once play forever…. NOT… Problem of the supposed past still exists. We went to open a game we had bought a while ago and it will not work on iOS 8 or newer. We never played this game. We bought a bunch of games during the last big sale. Can’t get a refund because it’s been over six months (from Apple, who have been great about giving BF refunds versus BF who not only never refunds, but makes you jump through stupid hoops with the promise of a refund, or otherwise strings you along in various ways until you give up). The multiple 1 star reviews clearly show that it is an issue with iOS but, again, they haven’t fixed it AND they are continuing to sell an app they know won’t work on current devices or older devices with current operating systems. They’ll probably never change but there are alternatives which other reviewers have mentioned. Goodbye BF.

This game is great we are a new beginner and we love the help we are able to get Great that you have different levels of difficulty.

… Is what it should have been named. We’re on an iPad mini 3 with around 90% free memory and we can’t play for more than three minutes before it crashes. This has happened at least 10 times and we lose our progress every time. Thanks, Big Fish, for taking our money yet again and giving us a broken product.

We were really enjoying this game until we got to to the hidden object game in the town. We found ever item except Mail!! We have spent an hour searching and searching and tap everywhere and everything on the screen, no luck. We try to use the hint but the creature just hops off the screen and resets our hint timer. Can not find any hint guides that point out where the MAIL item is in the HG game. We are stuck!! Ticks us off !!!

Too bad its a good game, but big fish is sooooo greedy.
