HangXun Nonogram is a kind of picture logic game that was first invented by the Japanese in 1987. At first, the game was named after "お絵かきロジック", which means "drawing logic". Now Nonogram is known as nomogram, pictogram, Hanjie, Griddlers, Picross, Japanese Crosswords, Japanese Puzzles, Pic-a-Pix, "Paint by numbers" and other names.
Nonogram game starts with tens of blank cells in a N x M grid, and these blank cells must be colored or left blank according to numbers at the side of the grid to reveal a hidden picture. In this puzzle type, the numbers are a form of discrete tomography that measures how many unbroken lines of filled-in squares there are in any given row or column. For example, a clue of "3 6 2" would mean there are sets of three, six, and two filled squares, in that order, with at least one blank square between successive sets.

Im lowkey addicted to playing this lol we decided to download this app after playing nonogram on our laptop a bunch, but the website we used doesnt actually make an image like the ones in the app does, and theres colored nonograms, too !! Anyway, long story short, this is a great app with no ads and its free!! Well, if you wanna check for errors, theres ads, but you can click out of them. They dont disturb your gameplay.
Dont get the others. This one is the one that is the best.
Our ONLY suggestion, it needs a dark mode for better battery life. (Please ).

We love that there are so many levels of this game! You can do many levels of difficulty. It also fills in your x's (empty spaces) after you have filled your row or column correctly. Definitely saves time! There are ads but they are not distracting to gameplay.

This game scratches the perfect of wanting to play sodoku and wanting to color. Love. And they have a ton of different levels of differing difficulty too. Its great! Would totally recommend. Its so good Im actually leaving this review. Lol.

So far we have only played the black and white games. They go on forever! The pixelated pictures are so clever, and the game is relaxing and fun.
Our only wish is that the errors are easier to see for colorblind people. Pinch to zoom would be good too.
Lots of good puzzles and the ads are the least intrusive of any game played, they are pictures and you can instantly dismiss them.

This game can be as challenging as you would like it to be. There is a plethora of Nonograms to choose from, from smaller easy ones to very difficult ones. We love it.
Our favorite phone game, its the only one that wont make you constantly watch ads, you only have to watch videos if you close out of the app and re-open it and they are so SHORT. There is no in-game currency or micro transactions which is unheard of these days. Its just a straight forward game with no extra unnecessary stuff.
So far, we are loving this game. The ads are actually not unbearable which is unheard of now a days. We downloaded this game also on our iPad and noticed that it is not compatible with our Apple Pencil. It keeps opening the keyboard and thinking we are writing, which has caused quite a few mistakes. Would love to see this quirk patched.
Honestly this game is the best nonogram Ive found so far. The ads are very short and yes theyre every time you finish or close the app, but thats fine. We like the wide range of puzzles that are never endingHOWEVER, Ive noticed recently theres been really weird ads, specifically from an app named Chio, advertising a p0rn chat site. Its literally a chest-up video of a girl masturbating. Its disturbing, especially for a puzzle game. Please vet your ads better or something, its gross.
Its nice and relaxing and the ads are so unobtrusive compare to other free apps. Genuinely really good, highly recommend.
We have played quite a few of these and this one has been our favorite so far.
Ads are not obnoxious and puzzles are fun.
No bells and whistles here just lots and lots of nonograms. One of our favorite ways to relax and use our brain at the same time.
Some of the puzzles are really hard, could be just us. But you can use hints and mistakes to figure them out. The ads arent too intrusive. All in all, we really enjoy it.

Its free. The ads are minimally invasive to keep the game free. And it runs well! Couldnt ask for more.
And they intersperse the really hard ones with easier ones we like the cute lil pictures they make too, even if it takes us a sec to figure out what they are sometimes. High quality and very solveable.

We had never done a nonogram before this app, we were glad they had instructions and a lot of beginner level puzzles. Now Im all through the beginner and making our way through easy. Im addicted. Best of all, you dont have to watch any ads ever, there are ads but you can X out of them immediately.
Aside from the interstitial ads between every puzzle, this rendition of the genre is perfect. A seemingly unending number of puzzles which prove pixel artists are geniuses and why old, 8-bit games could enthrall us with such meager graphics. Now, if only we could buy out the ads to turn them off.

Hi we just love this game! It is so relaxing! Most games dont last for to long on our phone because they are a waist of time but this game we love! It makes you think and sharpen your brain. We would really want to give you a 5 star review but there is 1 thing that gets us annoyed, after completing a level we cant go back on a later day to see it again. We really want to see our hard work but we can only see it in tiny by the side. But other than that this game is really good! Thank you.
We like this nonogram game better than the others. There are lots of puzzles. You dont have to watch lots of ads or do anything annoying to play the puzzles. Once you get used to the controls, its easy to use. We are still getting used to the controls. But you can mess up and keep going, so its not a big deal. The only thing we wish is that there was a way to zoom in. On the bigger puzzles, its really hard to see the numbers and things because they are so tiny on our phone.
Makes you think. Use a bit of logic. Lots of fun.

This is the greatest nonogram app Ive tried. The ads arent shoved in your face and theyre easy to swipe out of. The gameplay is varied with so many different grid options, youre not just stuck with 5×5, 10×10, and 15×15.
