We have enjoyed the game for the most part. We like the realistic look of the characters compared to cartoon looking ones in other games. We think there needs to be more content, including: more characters, more things to do besides main quest, more intriguing events.
This is a very junk game. It keeps reminding that the network connection fails. You can still play in the morning, but the connection fails at night. It was really disgusting.
Although the graphics are amazing, the service is very poor. There is no way to find your account back in case you forget your password. No function at all allows you to reset your pw even if your email is linked. Image you spend hundreds of $$$$ but there is no way to secure your account once you log out or switch devices.
It was fun at the beginning, especially when you get a bunch of gifts and stuff. But getting higher in levels, it gets boring. And its harder to get gifts. Uninstalling.
Game is literally just a reskin of another game from this dev, Idle Heroes. Same skills, same factions, same everything just with different names. Instead of polishing their other game, they just trying to make easy money with this new game. Dont fall victim. Unless youre a whale, youll literally be doing nothing in this game after about a week. Youve been warned.
So the game is really fun dont get us wrong but there is no activity in any server. We have a really good guild ( join NightFall) and we made it because the game has no activity. Can you just do some more stuff than those events and daily awards because nobody seems to care about those or probably they just get it than leave the game for the rest of the game. Please just fix his please. Dont forget to join NightFall.
Seeing heroes fight together historically harmonious. Perceiving a better view, challenging.
Its our favorite because theres No blood in the fighting suuuper easy to level up but personally we dont like the graphics hope ppl send more five star reviews PS. Think it should be rated 4+.

We have been playing this game for a long time now and loved it, just a small problem. Sometimes we try to find how to get things and go to the guide or question mark button on the far right to try and get some information on these but most times just don't get the information needed.(example: in regression we tried to find how to get lotus seeds but even though we read about 5 times we just don't find out how to get them) we really adore Ode to Hero's because it's just an amazing game but we really hope this minor problem is fixed we hope this didn't come across aggressive or negative because this really is just our opinion on the game but we would really appreciate if you might just add a bit more to your guides Thank you~.
Its have something like Idel heroes The duplicate heroes You dont need to put duplicate like 5 star heroes or 10 star heroes in the list of heroes Because the player already know that he can upgrade his hero from 4 stars and up or 5 stars and up You dont need to put the in the list twice one in the 4 star faction and the other in the 5 star faction.
When we first joined the game, The was no big problem until it started to crash on us more lately and more lag Bombs. For example, we going to the Home button then going to recruitment then being crashed on. Please fix this. We can sorta tell if this is either Just a released game, or Bugs that need to be squashed immediately. -Username: Fancinated.

We dont often write reviews for game but Ive had this game for about 7 ish months. (?) The game is F2P friendly, beautiful art, wonderful voice acting, not laggy, and the people are quite nice too. Thank you developers.
Overall the gameplay is fun, the events are generous, and it is possible to get and build any character with relative ease. It takes a little bit of time to build heroes, but the game provides all the resources you need without having to spend real money.
While we do agree the game is somewhat f2p friendly in the gacha department aswell as having good designs and aesthetics, we do have to say that its extremely unfair in the other departments. The beginners week challange while does give good rewards, the fact it is a timed event is very unfair (we couldnt get the last reward, and we know that means we will have a huge disadvantage against everyone else, because some on the quests where rng based and we didnt have time to di the others. Also sometimes we dont know what the future missions are and therefore we couldnt do the missions in time or correctly because of that) The pvp is rather broken. As a beginner, we have to literally click the refresh button 15 times every battle to find someone who we can atleast fight. Does not help we lose our pvp points easily The powercreep between heroes is too strong. Maybe make the older heroes some reworks or buffs so they are atleast usable.
Community hasnt been active at all this year – they have forgotten about the game. No new events, no new codes, first nail in the coffin..dont bother to invest, this one is toast. Sad to see.
Seems to be no way to recover your account. Unlike other games, this one does not have an option to recover your account. App messed up and had to re-install. Paid a bit of money, stupidly, for some perks but we guess thats our loss. Oh well. Guess Ill just get rid of the app and spend our money elsewhere. Id stay away from this game. Its ok but that was a major disappointment.

A few glitches we been playing not long like 3 moths or so needs more charters and we think that all to say by.
Maybe we dont have alot time to play bcs we have to do our full time job officer so our free time is just only 2 hours, but its is alot to play th game bcs its sooooo incredible awesome, just play day by day and you with have full stats heroes, gud Dh games and good 2d games, and very low-consume battery, :D first time we play maybe 4 hours but its just consume 11% of our phone, its so greattttttttttttt, you guys maybe try this master piece, its worth it 100%.
Honestly this is the best game of its archetype for either ftp or ptw to enjoy except for 2 issues and Im deducting a star for each (should deduct more for the second one tbh) first the old biggest issue, character design and depth, there just isnt enough chars that you want to build either because they are to weak to clear the content in the game or they are part of the duplicates required issue where you practically need a full team of 6 of that same character in order for it to be useable (its not feasible to get that many copies of 1 hero and it makes team comps 10x more boring if the best build is X,X, Changi, Changi, Changi, Changi for example) this first issue just makes us not want to invest more time or money into the game but truth be told we use to give this game 5 stars and recommend it to others, until the second new biggest issue which is that this game is now virtual unplayable due to lag wait times experienced through a yin and yang spinning circle for no other reason then for what appears to be a marginal/slight visual upgrade to the game, if we wasnt an already long time player (who has stopped doing anything on here other than dailies because of this trash lag) Id have quit the game entirely, if we were for example a new player on a new server Id last maybe 3 minutes before we were just like welp this game seems really cool but we guess Ill never know because Im deleting it now rather then sit around wasting time on these loading screens, Id just have to play a different game, thats how annoying and bad this new in game lag is STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ALL PLAYERS PLAY SOMETHING ELSE until this issue is resolved by the devs which p.s. Devs if you read this far before deleting our comment, 90% of your players or more would probably be more interested in a visual downgrade that allowed for server stability and continued playability then they would ever be interested in a upgrade causing this toxic lag fwiw we personally would rather you went back to the old version even if it the difference was visually stunning (and its not) highest potential game on the market that will never reach its potential probably because of the 2 above issues Sad really.
The most F2P friendly idle RPG ever. Summoning 5-Star heroes is easy and satisfying. The drop rates are not high, but good enough to the point where you can, if youre lucky, summon THREE 5-STAR HEROES IN 1 TEN-PACK SUMMON!!!! This game is one of, if not probably, the best Idle RPG in the entire App Store. The only thing we personally dislike with the game is how confusing it is to navigate the menus. NOW has never been a better time to get started since it is its 2nd Anniversary. The event allows you to get up to 200 summons!!!! PROS: 1. NOT P2W (though we admit its kind of tempting to build a strong team) 2. So many rewards to obtain through idling 3. Game is fun as a whole 4. Most F2P Friendly Idle RPG CONS: 1. Navigating the menus can be pretty annoying most of the time 2. Cannot link Apple ID to save our data. Our Server: S80 our Username: DarkHorse51 COME ON AND JOIN THE FUN on ODE TO HEROES!!! One of the only games that we play regularly. The communication between developers and regulators to users is amazing. Our personal thanks to the support team who helped us recover our account in no time. Very active platforms, and routine updates. This game is very fun, highly recommend.

To people who still play Dynasty Warriors, please play this. Its way better. You dont have to mash buttons over again. Each character is more unique. In Dynasty Warriors, multiple characters have same moves and combos. Dynasty Warriors is our least favourite game series. Play this instead.
We recently found this game and have become addicted to it. The beginning stages progressed relatively fast since the game gives you a lot of freebies. Unlike other Idle games, this game offers you a lot of in-game currency to use. In our first two weeks of gaming we were able to do one 10-summon a day which is great because you can build up your team quite quickly. After about that two week bench mark, your ability to summon will dip to maybe once every two days. After that, itll be grinding time. As of right now, we are still able to summon(10x) about once every 4 days. Now, the 5 stars that you can obtain from these 10-summons are pretty much trash and unless you dont mind the power creep in late game then dont bother building them up. Youll want to use them as fodders most of the time. We highly recommend the Devs to merge older servers. We have played many games of this nature and what essentially kills the game is the lack of community servers. The server which we are in right now, s47, is still relatively new so the number of active players is still abundant but we can see it die down almost instantly in the next 3-4 months. We barely started the game and we are already ranking in the 150s for the server. Advice for new players: Utilize the first 2 weeks of freebies to develop a general skeleton of your late game team. After that point do not spend any in game currency UNLESS you plan to buy recruitment scrolls from the market and nothing else, dont spend your sage summoning, and dont use your divination. Wait for events and bulk buy accordingly when the event happens to maximize your gains!!! That is the grind begins here. Its repetition, repetition, repetition, the only thing thatll keep you going is creating your ultimate team. Devs: please merge servers. There is not enough active players in older servers. Create a new server that encompasses all the servers if not at least the old servers. Maybe a server that is s1-s50.
Keeping it fresh with all the patches, new units and qol requests from their community, great work so far.
Some cards are actually 0% we tried multiple accounts. Many champions have the same rate but they show big difference.
We like this games since couple weeks ago its been quite enjoyable and fun building your own team not much information out there but Ive been in the community group fan Facebook of this game and thats how we find a lot of this info, the game is relaxing Ive been getting really good heroes but we hope we can get more yin and yang heroes since theyre really good, overall we would keep playing this game is one of our favorite so far.
Very comparable to AFK arena but better in every way. Playing F2P Ive already gotten a dozen 5 star heroes and ascended two of them in just a couple hours. RNG is your friend in this game.
This game is so fun its so easy to level up your heros and get all the necessary equipment to advance in the game you can literally play for hours non-stop and continue to unlock new things.
We love most Idle heros game and after a year of playing Girls X Battle 2 we started playing this game and have passed our progression hero wise without having to pay to win. Yeah its hard to do every single event with out buying things but the summon events come by often enough and its just a very fair chance if you dont have money to spare on a game and we really appreciate it.
We played this game during its early days but for about 4-5 months. Reached pretty far F2P, but it got to a point, where it was entirely P2W and we saw it slowly becoming a P2W game after they made the campaigns go from 10-20 stages to 40-60 stages. Ever since that update, the game took a Major left turn. The campaign rewards were decreased by a LOT and we couldnt level up. We would be surprised if anyone we played with is still on that same server till this day. You guys had an amazing game before you turned down the P2W route. Im not surprised as youre the developers of Idle Arena, another P2W game Ive played wayyy before Ode to heroes, and just now realizing you guys created it. Hope the game isnt too much p2w, and hopefully people can actually progress. Have a good one.
It ridiculous that Im higher level and get defeated by lower levels in the campaign. Fix it.
The devs are literally lying in the responses to peoples reviews what kind of crap is this.
Updated review in Aug 2020: This game used to have stunningly beautiful hero designs. We can see how much time effort and LOVE they spent on the drawing: from WuZeTians flawless make up to GuiGuZi big tigers; from DaQiao bamboo leaf dance to DiaoChan butterfly swarm; not to mention ZhongWuYan boxing gloves and HongFo beautiful white hashtag hairs! However with the recent release they started losing this momentum. Started from Sushi, designed with a boring anime face with bed hair, every new hero comes with the same face and similar clothes. They only come in different colors. Recently they even retracted the old ZhuGe design, which was one of the best and genuinely the most beautiful unique unforgettable distinct and talented idea so far by this game!! What replaces it is a face so lame and boring like youd forget how hes looking like regardless how many time you seen. Did you ever see someone anonymous walking in the background in a movie like nobodys paying attention to what they like? Yea thats what the new ZhuGe like rn. Before these changes we were willing to pay and collect and summon heroes for their designs. And now we really have no idea what we are paying for. – Another pay to win game. Nice stories attached to those hero and a bit Chinese history facts but thats it. Pay to win is still pay to win. This game does a great job in deceiving ppl that they can get 5 stars easily. But in fact drop rate of True 5-star heros was so minimal that you dont see any hope in getting one without spending 10k bucks. 10k, thats right. And by good heros we mean truly good hero GAO-Juan-LI or the like, not those trashy 5-stars such as Mo-Ye or Wu-Ze-Tian or Yang-Yu-Huan whatsoever. They are simply 4-stared gibberish with 5 star stamps. Not gonna spend any more money on this game. Its just not worth it.
At first it was amazing but then the enemy started to get too op for our team to beat and we had a better power level than the Enemy.

One hero can wipe out a team of multiple heroes of same tier. Dumb and non-sense and unbalanced. Battle points only for show, doesn't really reflect anything. Every new release is only to grab money.
Old servers are dying, population dwindling. Please start merging servers.
New server was only open for a day, then it closed, and we were defrauded of $300.
