Love this game, we find etymology and word origins so interesting and there's so many fascinating origin stories that we didn't know about at all! We've learned a lot playing this and the price for more cards is pretty reasonable. Definitely recommend.
Fun, educational, and entertaining. Caution dont use when you have other things to do as it can be just one more and same for restricting children's use times.
The third card we encountered was limelight. The game cheerfully informed us that this came from the process of burning lime or calcium oxide. Lime is already rather thoroughly burnt, as a high school education in chemistry will inform one. When lime is heated intensely, it will undergo two different kinds of luminescence, emitting light, but not burning.
Orijinz is a terrific opportunity for learning and fun! As a bonafide member of really old people, Orinjinz its a such a good way to improve memory. Ive always loved words and am an avid reader and these phrases and words are presented in such interesting ways. When we first started using Orijinz, there was a tiny glitch. We contacted Brad at Orijinz and he got back to us very quickly (within the hour) and fixed the problem. We highly recommend this program and the service that comes with it!
