"Over The Net Beach Volley” is the arcade video-game of the most played summer game in all the beaches of the world.
You'll be able to take part in enjoyable and frantic tournaments on the most famous beaches, Miami, Barcelona, Dubai, Montecarlo and many others.
Main functionalities:
- "Practice" mode: gives you the possibility of a not-limited training, without points and interruptions
- "Single game" mode: you can choose your own team among 11 possibilities and one out of 4 beaches.
- "World tour": after you have chosen your team, you start a world competition in 8 different beaches playing with stronger and stronger teams.
- Amiga "vintage" mode!
Main game characteristics:
- Variable number of sets (1-3-5)
- "Amiga vintage 1989" play option
- Player control using a virtual pad
- Button for jumps and blocks
- Button for save, bump, overhand pass, dig
- 2 different kinds of serve.: normal or "jump serve"
- Spike: during the jump, spikes are performed by swiping your finger. Your movement determines the strength and direction of the ball. Extremely strong attacks may disorienting the adversary when hit thus increasing the spectacularity of the actions.

We have the iphone 13. Doesnt fit to our screen hard to use controls. If yall are still updating the app we hope yall see this.
Plays just like the old "Kings of the Beach" game from the 80's–but the touch response doesn't always work. In addition the players sometimes run into one another and lock up your function so you can't play. Fix those two minor issues and its a great game. It would also be nice to customize your player, not just your team (to better tell which player is you).
The jump button does not work consistently. Please fix. We love this app! It's one of our faves and now it's going down… ;-(.
This game is addicting! Just need to update for the iPhone 5 and fix the serving bug (occasionally starts serve involuntarily and won't let you serve over net but tries to set the ball instead) and the game will be flawless. Maybe harder computer.
This is a fun adventurous game. We love/like it.
This game is great! The only thing we would change is maybe instead of having to be by the person you want to play with multi-player, maybe use open feint so you could multi play with people in different areas. Over all we LOVE THIS GAME.

Found this while looking for games during the XXX Olympiad. Okay we'll admit, we first got hooked on beach volleyball during the Beijing Olympics because of the teeny weenie bikinis worn by the female teams ;-) Much better than the other app offerings for making us feel like we were competing in the real games. No medals to be had for winning and quite frustrating in the beginning to get the timing right for serves and spikes. The tiny graphics don't make it easy either. Don't have any iPad so not sure how the graphics translate to a larger screen. Even though there is no tilt screen function required as part of the controls, this is one of those games that people will notice u r playing. We've been caught several times violently and fruitlessly gesticulating our iPhone while trying to dig out a save from a nasty spike. There's tournament play and a decent amount of teams to choose from. Also a globe's worth of locations to choose from, but you really won't notice the difference during gameplay. Minuses, the virtual pad joy stick is not really sensitive enough to adequately move u around the tiny playing field, but you can disable it (that function may work better on the iPad). BIGGEST PLUS, the female teams wear bikinis :-) BIGGEST MINUS, they're NOT TEENY WEENY :-( The hallmark of any great app, once get the hang of what ur doing and the timing, you may find the challenging nature of this game more than slightly addicting.
We don't really get this game u don't really do much. Not the best game. In our opinion it's NOT worth the money.

Such a great app. It is pretty realistic and the tour and different teams are cool. Plus it's good to see your stats after the games.
This is probably the best volleyball game out there. Yeah the graphics could be a little better but it is an addictive game that will definitely keep you busy.
This game is great. Especially if you play 2 man/woman beach volleyball. It's addictive AND it starts quick Whig is nice when you have only a couple minutes to play. The graphics aren't great but the play is. Buy it.

We enjoy this game definitely the best volleyball game the last update honestly made the game harder and worse however we think some changes could be added with the game that would utimately make it more successful please take the time to read this and hope it helps 1. Continue having updates with new male and female teams. The game will become boring without new teams being added. 2. Allow players to face other players who have the game(multiplayer). 3. Give the girls pony tails, braids and actual bikini bottoms this would make the girl teams more attractive than the female teams right now. Give these teams yellow, pink and light green colored swimsuits. 4.Give the new male teams long shorts and give new hairstyles like dreadlocks. Give these teams orange, black and dark blue colored shorts. 5.Make a store where players can purchase new teams and create their own teams. 6. Add a referee and refs chair to the game. 7. Allow players to make their own team(s). You could charge money or give points where players could purchase them that way for this and utimately be more successful with the game and have happier owners of the game too. 8. Make the tour longer this can be accomplished if more teams are added. 9. Give male teams backward baseball caps and add sun visors for the girl teams. 10. Make new stadiums teams can play like a pro beach volleyball staduim that would be cool. 11. Allow players to choose if they want to use a male or female team during practice mode. Not every volleyball player is a woman. 12. There is a girl in a yellow bikini on the menu mode and she isn't even on one of the teams which makes no sense. Eithier put her on a team or replace her picture with someone from one of the existing teams on this game. Thanks for taking the time to listen hopefully these ideas if added will make this a better game.please consider.
The graphics could be better. Please improve on the graphics, you can't tell what the players look like. The game also freezes at times. The players and the beach looks fuzzy, please fix these problems. Other than that, it's OK to play, it passes the time away.
This is such a good app. It is really fun and irs just like playing real volleyball! This app is soooo worth getting.
By far this is the best volleyball game for the iPhone! Lots of fun! The only corrections we would make would be to make the team difficulty levels more accurate and we hate when we try to pass the ball sometimes and it jumps instead. Other then those two minor bugs, this is a GREAT game.
We really enjoy playing the game but the problem is winning!! To much computr assistance it seems !! The setup.
This game you just have to get the hang of it then its really fun.
The game runs perfect and there are multiple modes well worth the price. The only downside is the controls are a tad bit wired could use some polishing and the red ball marker blends in a little bit to much which makes it hard to judge shots.

Very good game although it has some bugs, like jumping when you try to pass the ball. In the next update try to put a multiplayer option please.
Whenever you hit into the opponents block and it then lands out of bounds it incorrectly counts it as the opponents point. Can we get that fixed? Ottherwise a good game.
It took us awhile to get the hang of it but now that we've figured out how to play it's very fun, occasionally it our players don't do what we want them to do but overall it's still entertaining. We think it's one of the best volleyball apps out right now. It's still needs to be improved more though.
We heard it a lot up there from our friends, though some of them did not like this, we mark 4 stars, at least it's free.
We're still practicing and learning to play – was never very good at video games that required a lot of hand and eye coordination, but we keep playing this game and get better and better every time. Lots of fun.
A decent volleyball game. In fact right now its probably the best one available in the store mainly because there aren't that many. The game is fun to play and kind of addicting once you get used to the controls. You can choose to manually move your player(s) with a joystick or choose an automatic movement option where the computer moves the player to the ball for you. We prefer the manual option. The player movement is pretty good overall, your player can move in any direction. In the game there is a ball indicator and shadow to track the ball movement which is useful for positioning your player right. The game has a decent amount of gameplay/setup options and 3 modes… Practice, single game, and world tour. So the content is there and its fun enough to play. If we had any complaints we would say the animations could be a little better and the size of the graphics could be made slightly bigger. But overall its a worthwhile volleyball game for $2.
Being a volleyball player ourselves this is a good game for the price plays alot like the old King of The beach, love to see more like this, even and indoor one like Super Spike Volleyball.
Fun game. But yes! 1) The random jumping when you want to pass. 2) Or the standing and doing nothing when there's any easy ball over and we're pressing the green button like crazy for our guy to respond. 3) AND MOST IMPORTANTLY. THREE CONTACTS!!!! Block counts as a hit. Sometimes the other team sets up with 4 contacts. One time it set with 5 contacts. We're like, "What the hell???".
Good possibilities, jumps when pass button is pressed. Sometimes jump doesn't work. Team levels are definately not accurate. We might keep it around for a week or so to see if there is an update …. Hint, hint.
We're a big fan of beach volleyball, so we were excited to try this. Like someone else, we were having difficulty controlling the players, but it's easier on the auto move settings. Graphics are very good, though the height of jumps seems a bit exaggerated. It might just be the view angle.
Why: 5 touches? Serving by itself to the net? In ball counted as out? Please fix it asap it's a cool game but we wouldn't had bought it if we knew about it's bugs.
Seems like volleyball would be a hard game to try to convert into a video game. We're sorry dev team but we just don't see a bright future for this title. Two stars for trying though! :).
Too bad it ONLY supports iOS 4.0.
For the touch Gen#1 with 3.1.1 firmware, this 1.45 update will not install, lucky enough to have the previous as a backup file so we deleted this new 1.450 file and put back the old file. That means if will always show the stupid update available. The game itself is a 3 star, but the update is a 0 star for the touch G1.
A little hard to control, but still great.

Horrible graphics…Horrible controls…Horrible game play…Horrible A.we…!!! Not enough screen space,game interface/simulation, intelligence/memory on an iPhone to support an Volleyball game that is worth playing, even if it is free.
This game is terrible. The controls make it unplayable.
… The controls in this game are horrible. The tutorial is a joke. To the developers… Why did you release such a cruddy game before fine tuning your app!?!? Seriously folks, even though this app is currently free, we GUARANTEE this app will be deleted from your iPhone the day you decide to download it. Good luck.
