Pai Gow Poker is a variant of Chinese Domino game also named Pai Gow, played with playing cards instead of Pai Gow's Chinese dominoes.
It is also known as Double Hand Poker.
Pai Gow Poker can be thought of as a combination of 7-Card Stud Poker and the domino game.
In Pai Gow Poker you make two poker hands – one 5-card hand and one 2-card hand.
If your two poker hands beat the dealer's two poker hands, you win.
If only one of your hand wins, it's a push. And if both of your hands lose, you lose your bet.

How To play :
- A single 53-card deck is used, consisting of the usual 52 cards, plus one joker.
- The joker is semi-wild. It may be used as an ace, or to complete a straight, flush, or straight flush, or royal flush.
- Player makes an Ante bet and/or Fortune Bonus bets.
- Player and the dealer get seven cards each. Dealer cards are dealt face down. The player examines his own cards.
- The player will separate his seven cards into a five-card high hand, and two-card low hand. The high hand must be of higher poker value than the low hand.
- The five-card hand is ranked according to conventional poker rules. The only poker hand in the two-card hand is a pair or no pair, after which the individual cards determine the value.
- After the player has set his hand, the dealer cards are turned over and divided in the same manner, according to specified rules known as the "house way."
- The two high hands will be compared, and the two low hands, the hand with the higher poker value winnings. If the event of a tie, for example both two-card hands are ace/king, then the tie has go to the "banker."
- If the player wins both comparisons, then the player will win even money on his bet. If the player wins one and loses one, then the bet shall push. If the player loses or ties both, then the player shall lose his wager.
- "Fortune" is a side bet in Pai Gow Poker that pays based on the value of the player's seven cards. It doesn't not matter how the player sets his hand. It pays based on the Fortune Bet payout table given below.

Overall the gameplay is good. Have noticed that sometimes if we have a straight, but also three of a kind that the bonus is paid as the straight instead of the trips.
When we have a 8 high straight with a pair of 6s for two card hand and the dealer has a 5 high straight with only high cards for two card hand the game gives it a draw.
We did enjoy this game until we played it longer. There is no way an actual dearer would have hands like this game does. If we get a pair of aces the dealer will get two pair. If we get three of a kind the dealer gets a straight. We played twenty hands and the dealer had five flushes, two straights, four three of a kinds and five two pairs. Come on make it more realistic.
Cards need to be arranged in order or allow movement of cards by player.
Our email was compromised shortly after downloading this game. Our credit monitoring said via Zynga games BE CAREFUL.
Great pai gow game. Horrible purchases. Game lets you buy no adds for $1.99 multiple times and it still shows adds. Even purchased for our wife on her phone and same issue. Developer please respond.
The game play is fine. But when you do not have enough chips for your same rebet, it will ask you to buy more chips. However, you cannot cancel out of getting more chips OR get back into your game. The app essentially freezes and when you restart it the bet you had on the table is gone. Super frustrating, especially if youre playing some high bets. Ive easily lost 500k on this bug, but the developers dont want to fix it because the only way you can properly get back to your game is if you buy chips. Buyers beware.
Paid for no ads and there are still ads. We want our $5 back.
We have had several instances where the game does not recognize the Joker as an Ace. In a case where trying to split out a K and Q, with a Joker as the high in the 5 cards, the error message reads Invalid split: 2 card hand cannot be higher than 5 card hand. We can send multiple pics if needed. Please fix the error.
This app is easily one of the better Pai Gow games out there. Would give 5 stars if it had Pai Gow insurance bet and option to play face up Pai Gow. Would like to play with other people as well. Hint, hint, wink, wink.
Lets us play a fun game with minimal interruption.
This game has good graphics. Layout is great. Unfortunately the results are not always accurate. For example, our low hand will be a Queen/Jack, but it may say Jack High. And the dealer has Queen/Eight, and when we should win, we push. Same thing happens sometimes with the high hand. Sort of a bummer.
This game is fun, love playing it. But we cant overlook the fact that you need to stop changing the hands that are chosen to play. If Im choosing our highest and 2nd highest hands, those are what we want to play. Changing our winning hands to hands that result in a push is why this is getting a 3.
Works fine, but soon the game lags. Press Deal then wait 3 seconds for the software to actually deal the cards. Not fun.
Just wish there was also a face up option.
Well set up, a great way to play and practice without actually spending money to enjoy Pai Gow. After you set your hands, the game shows an overlay of what hand scores as what – Pair of 3s, Ace High, etc. The game will often display the wrong card as the high card in our hands, which to this point has not affected the result of our plays against the dealer, but is still a strange bug. Plays well, like it! Kinda wish we could drag our cards around to reorder them before choosing which cards we want as our two card hand.
When we get a pretty good hand it always seems like the dealer get a bonus type hand and we get a Missouri a push.

This game can be fun at times but it seems that every time we win any hand, we get dealt at least 3-4 Pai Gow hands immediately after. We hit major losing sprees which is wildly unrealistic. Ive come to just expect that if we win a huge hand, Im just gonna lose it all and more on the following 5 hands. Sometimes Ive only stayed alive because of the level bonuses. It would also be nice if you had different variations of Pai Gow.

We tried contacting the developers but couldnt. The gifts Icon in the game doesnt work.
The house should always split 2 pairs if no Aces are in the hand, we have screen shots where the house had two pairs and the put a King and another card. This is not how the casinos set the cards. The only time that 2 pairs stay together in the 5 card hand is when there is an Ace and when the pairs are 6s or lower. Please fix this to make it accurate. Since we downloaded this game a few weeks ago, we've had a Royal Flush twice, and after getting it, the game crashes. We see others that have reported the same problems. If this is a known bug, why isnt this being fixed? Will we have the same issue if we have a higher bonus hand.
Make an annual paid version or we will stop playing because of the constant interruptions.
We paid the upgrade for no ads but the game still has ads.
Game is ok, but its obviously rigged towards imaginary house. We would not be at a real Pai Gow table like this for more than minutes. We are keeping track of bonus payout hands (straight or better) and the house in this game hits at about a 4 to 1 ratio. In other words the dealer had a straight or better 4 times for every 1 bonus hand we are dealt. Pai Gow is not designed to have that huge of advantage in real life.
Ive had a royal flush twice in the last week or so. The first time after we set our hand and touched split the game crashed and shut down. We thought maybe it was a coincidence, but it just happened to us again tonight. Its not much fun to play something that wont allow you to win big hands.
Mostly of the time youll lose or youll push with dealer which is same as losing cause eventually your money will decrease.
This app doesnt apply the joker properly, so youll lose hands that you should win.
Our chips count is messed up, when we win it doesnt add up in the count then takes the bet out of our chip count.
Dont try to purchase chips, youll get charged but never see the product. Play with the free chips.
Twice already when the player has 3 of a kind and dealer has a straight it gives the dealer the win. But in the payout, it ranks 3 of a kind higher than a straight so it should be a player win. Frustrating.

The game does not seem to consistently know how to apply the Joker value to player hand to make the best playable hand. Theres some issues with correctly calling some hands as well. Assigning Queen high when there is obviously a King supporting her.
Played the game for a while. Liked it a lot. Worked perfectly, no crashes. Got a royal flush with the fortune bet and the game conveniently crashed right then. Seems like a scam and will delete.
Consistently misidentifies the hand you have especially with jokers in play.
Something wrong with the Joker, multiple games played when we have the joker it doesnt improve our hand to the best available but always does for the dealer.
Need to include an option for faceup paigow to reflect most of the tables that offer Pai gow on the LV strip.
Any Pia Gow lover will enjoy the game but dont expect to win many hands. The dealer (computer) will one up you 9 times out of ten for a push. Playing for five minutes, the dealer had a straight 7 hands in a row. When we would have three of a kind, the dealer would also have a higher three of a kind. Granted Pia Gow is mostly a game of pushes but it feels like the developers dont want you to win many hands.
We listen to other programs while playing and the commercials interrupt our listening experience. Too many commercials.
Love this game. Saves us money two ways in the casino by practicing on the app how to set our hand in certain situations and not spending real cash but getting the excitement of real gaming. Generous gifts and bonuses to limit the need to spend on in-app purchases. Had an issue with coins and the developer team worked hard to solve it and would not give up until we had a solution. We played this years ago on our old computer. Had forgotten to load it until the ad popped up. Oh goodness this is the greatest card game ever. Im an ill senior and we love this because its now on our iPad. Truly helps pass the time. Thank you very much.
Love the game. However, after 10 hands or more, an add pops up for other games. If you exit out, it freezes. Have to delete Pai Gow, then go to App Store and reinstall. Why?? Lose all your winnings.start from scratch. Not nice.
The house option is pretty cool especially when playing quickly and usually realistic. Id like to see higher hands once in awhile. Im not sure ive received higher than a full house.

9/10 the dealer has two pairs a straight or a flush so you either lose or push then that 1/10 youll win off some high cards which is just down right dumb. Literally EVERY time. We get a straight its a push cause they have two pairs for the 10th time in a row. We get two pairs and they get a flush or a straight and a pair or somehow one card better high card. This game is rigged and annoying. You have a 1000% better chance winning at an actual table in a casino which is just annoying. Why cant you make an app fun to play on the go.
