Excellent transporting map and Hint button, original, cohesive story line, quick transition between scenes. Inventive graphics and puzzles. No glitches. The only non-responsive negative is the Hint button didn’t respond when in the correct location. We will definitely purchase the sequel!

Well Big Fish, you need to be giving Alawar a big raise! The production company really has done an outstanding job with this one, in every respect. We wish many more would go this route in style, story and gameplay. The Hidden Object puzzles (usually our least favorite parts of these games) are so much better than other games, because you need to find something to use to then find the next something. Not just a long random list of stuff that doesn’t apply to advancing the story (like all the others from Elephant, Eipix, etc). Big time kudos to Alawar!! %#%#> DOES ANYONE KNOW… How do you find out which other games Alawar has made for BF?

We really like this game. We play hidden object adventure games all the time and this is one of our personal favorites that we play over and over great bonus game as well definitely recommend this game!
Very different game from the usual goblins, witches and paranormal. We like it!
It isn’t often that we finish a game and immediately start hunting for the sequel, but this time, we did! "Paranormal Pursuit" was fast-moving, interesting, and had a great assortment of puzzles. Something that really impressed us is that the characters move and talk like real people! No stiff, clunky movements, no voice/character mismatch, no wooden dialogue. (Can’t tell you how many times we’ve been turned off by poorly translated dialogue). The story itself is compelling — a social worker needs to rescue a boy from danger — and all the action that follows is logical and believable within the context of the story. People get scrapes, get hungry or tired or cold. We think this is one of the best games we’ve ever played.
We hope they make more in this series… Without candles.

We just finish playing this game, we had attempted To play it last year,but was stuck on the hog. This is some game. Happy that it had a decent Ending,but was it really the end…?

Great game, graphics & load time! Agree with other reviews of old game replay problems. Also agree wish it was longer or had a bonus chapter. Almost had the same problem with candle pickup, but persistence paid off & was able to continue. Wish this quality of game was in more supply!
We got sooo excited when the opening screen appeared and we saw this game was made by Alawar. It DID NOT disappoint! Great game from start to finish. Interesting storyline and has all the features you look for like the teleporting map. Keep ones like this coming!!!
We like this game enough to have played it/them probably a dozen times. We like all the characters except for the FBI guy, who when help would be appreciated basically just stands there and looks clueless. The game does present some difficulties, but they can be overcome and/or worked around, and after playing the game a second or third time it surrenders its frustration level, without becoming stale. One thing we learned early is when pressing a direction arrow with no result, try pressing nearby spots that are more in the desired direction. You soon find yourself remembering those spots. A biggie that stumped legions and generated much discussion on the Net was how to remove the lit candle from the anvil. None of the online suggestions worked for us, but we finally stumbled onto the solution by virtue of sheer obstinance: you have to press on the flame! Once youve completed the Pursuit part there is an unlocked bonus game that is just as well conceived and seems to be as long too. However, we find it somewhat annoying because in place of cute little Kevin and pretty investigator Samantha (both of whom we like) we now have a bratty pre-teen girl, along with the same FBI guy Eric, who thankfully is more active and reasonable this time around. The puzzles and how theyre worked into the two stories are what shine, in our opinion. The animation and color art are exceptional, too. A lot of fun, and you get two games for your money.
We really enjoyed this title… It has very crisp graphics, good voice acting & an intriguing storyline. Providing a truly fun experience overall and a unique feel from other games of it type.

We dont ever write reviews for games, but we have to do so for this HOG. We have played hundreds of games over the years but this is by far the best game we have played. The story line is well thought out, the puzzles and Hidden objects were far superior from any other game!! Please give us more games like this !! This is the first game that we didnt want to end! Usually, we get bored halfway through many games but not this one! The programmers of this game are a very talented group ! We hope to see more games from all of you! P.S the graphics are Awesome!!

Enjoyed this game so much! The candle in the treehouse was a bug, but we rebooted then messed around, went in and out of the program, in and out of the guide book jumped around and came back to it and it suddenly appeared on our tool bar. The game has great music and graphics, is exciting, loved the way you had to find and use tools to get other tools, etc. This was well thought out and challenging. The only thing we would have liked is for the mini games to be just a little bit harder. But overall, engrossing and fun! Hope there is a sequel. We will buy it for sure.
All we can say is wow! We have played many many games but this is by far our most favorite. It was like watching a great movie from beginning to end. It was worth every penny. Great job! Now hurry up and make the sequel!

What a Game!!! Alawar does it again. Spectacular fun adventure with wonderful graphics, character voices and unique hidden object scenes. This was so enjoyable – wish that it had been longer. Highly recommend!! On a different note in response to Bunkies comment, we’ve been having the same issues on our purchased games. They say no record found of purchase. This needs to be addressed right away as we own many games and we are supposed to own them for life Big Fish – So please get this fixed. Thank you, for your prompt attention to this matter in advance. KdBoots.
It was a really fun game and worth every penny!
We liked the game until we got to the candle. Very annoying when the candle will not come out. At least please tell us how to remove the candle! We did pay for the for the game. We gave a good rating before we got to the candle. Now we’re sorry we rated so early. Sometimes you ask for a rating too early in the game! Diet granny.

Greetings, Gamers: This game get a solid four stars from us simply because of the storyline: new, fresh, exciting and not run-of-the-mill routine. We’re awarding the fifth star because the jump map and hint system work just fine, the achievements are fun and a bit -outside-the-box and the SG makes sense. All in all, ALAWAR, an outstanding triumph! Now for the un-fun and frustrating part: About the games that seem to be play one time only, what gives with that? We wish we knew which particular games are problematic. We’ve pulled several from the cloud and haven’t had any problem so far. Probably just hexed myself there. It feels unreasonable to us to punish the game makers with a poor review for something that is clearly either Big Fish’s or Apple’s screwup. We’re wondering if the iOS interface is off with this recent update. Whatever the cause, it needs to be addressed and rectified YESTERDAY. CANDLE – Regarding the candle issue – we had the same issue but went to the guide and solved the other issues we still could solve and then somehow it lets you pick up the candle by touching it at the very top. Just remember to do everything you can, and you should be able to get the candle. Great story and ending. Interesting HOPs and mini games. The music is a bit slow and melodious but tolerable. Note to go back, touch to the left of the arrow. That can be frustrating if you dont catch on to that. In the middle we had no clue where to put things so we kept hitting the hint button, which can be frustrating. We also had to consult the guide many times when the hint said something that was wrong. The guide definitely helps! So for the story and ending – five stars. Pretty long too! Adding here that the bonus game is really quite phenomenal, okay that could be a pun, but it is great! HOPs are interesting, most of the things to find are understandable, the map isnt that big that you get lost and the characters are cool and cute. Good funny dialogue (wheres our dolphin?) The ending, once again, is great! The only odd thing is, when we were doing this review, we noticed a duplicate file/version of this game for $2.99, when this version is $6.99. Looks like they both have the bonus content. Not sure what the difference could be except the cost.

We’ve played so many of these games over the years. On our iPad, Mac & PC. We’ve got to admit this one is now in our top favorites. It was a little different thats why we enjoyed it. Storyline was interesting. Looking forward to the sequel!
Not sure why so many have problems? This game was great! There is an interactive map that works perfect! Great voice overs and storyline. Everything we enjoy in a game was in it! If players haven’t yet learned to close out of all other games and at times restart your iPad, especially if you haven’t done so in awhile, then you’re going to deal with these glitches! Not always we understand but a majority of the time that fixes any problems. Fun game BF and alawar!
