A Glimpse into Parcheesi Online Prime
Parcheesi can be played by 1 to 4 players. Each player race their four pawns from start to finish according to dice rolls along a path. The game gets interesting when a player captures an opponent player’s pawn which is then returned to the starting area. Nice colors and game play. We will change it to 5 stars if the dice roll is faster like the frenzy of the board game.
We like this one better than other apps. The only frustration is 4 out of 5 (at least) rolls include a one. Statistically impossible and very annoying. We decided to recorded how often it happens. Five out of six rolls including one. We downloaded it onto our iPad, hoping it was a glitch on our phone. But nope, still getting ones. And not just against AI, also when playing other people. Please fix it.
Absolutely no strategy put into the thought of coding this. Road blocks constantly. No logic in using AI rolls. Obvious prebuilt bias to actual player. Coded by geeks.
The logic for AI is way too limited. AI opponents miss obvious opportunities to win. Also, too many AI dumb moves.
This game allowed our opponent to keep their blockade for almost the entire game! He moved 2 pawns all the way around the board to their home and it caused us to miss being able to move for over half the game! We are going to delete this game and use a different parcheesi game.
Not the real rules. Big waste of time.
This version is great as far as the graphics, however its programmed for the AI to cheat. The AI can keep two men on the same space for the entire game (if it has other pawn to move) which blocks you from moving your pawn around the board to your home. Also, it will periodically make you move a pawn you wouldnt otherwise want to move although you have other pawns you want to move. If you enjoy a good strategy game then this one isnt for you… As you dont always get to choose which pawn you want to move. This game designer is not top notch… You would do best to find a different game.
This game helps develop the strategy of counting and what space you would land on.
Fun game, wish you could play multiplayer with AI but this game is pretty legit.
When you have all four of your men out and you roll doubles, you are supposed to get both sides of the dice. You can not use doubles to get into Home, unless you can use the whole amount to get in. You cannot move up a spot onto the safety spot if another man is on it. Two different colors cannot be on a safety spot. If you are on your opponents safety spot, and he rolls a 5, you get bumped. You must use a 5 to get a man out, even if its not to your advantage. Thats all we can think of right now. This is the first time we played your game, and we must admit, we were disappointed. Consider this a bad review. Please fix this, according to the ancient Parcheesi rules!!
We have been playing this game for over 50 years. When you roll doubles the game makes you move the pieces it chooses and makes you put your men in danger. Also, it also chooses moves that dont allow for strategy for the human player. It is a waste of time.
Starts out fun but as you try to plan moves the game FORCES you to move a pawn you dont want to move, leaving you open to be sent "home". The real board game is not played that way. SHAME ON THIS APP.
The computer cheats. Cannot move pieces when you want.
Uses different rules for AI and human players. Forces humans to unblock even when other moves are possible. Even when the block was created the previous move. Does not force the AI to do the same. Correctly blocks human players from using doubles to move a block forward. Watched the AI do this twice in one game.
When you get two on the same square and your playing online it makes you move your pawn but when the computer player gets two on the same square the game doesnt make it move .
Love this version of Parcheesi. Very competitive!
Family and we downloaded before our flight. Says can connect with bluetooth, but it doesn’t work. The phones are visible, but can’t connect to them :-/
We enjoy playing Parchesi but disliked the apps so far as only one die is used. Tried this one and wow. Two dice! Really enjoy it. Only thing we dislike is that we don’t seem to be able to select the color we would like to use. Wish we could select yellow!! Thank you makers for making a nice game! Just allow color selection ok?

Thoroughly enjoyed this game when younger. So nice to be able to play again with family!
It doesn’t deserve one star! We always enjoyed playing the board game WAHOO with marbles & wood, then cardboard & plastic pawns when it was called SORRY! But this is really a SORRY game. We like the double dice & the start of the game, but when the computer holds you up blocking while its pawn goes all the way around the board while making yours wait is really sorry. Then when you "block" it forces you move your pawn before you can continue. So yeah, it cheats! We had 4 pawns held up behind its beginning while it went all the way home with its pawn then one of our pawns got bumped back to the beginning when we were behind the other pawns. It’s entertaining, but it cheats! That makes it boring. Until this is corrected it is still one star. When it gets fixed, then we’ll consider more stars!!!
We love playing it but we don’t like that pawns stops the others until they get doubles. Why can’t we choose the color that we want It be ten times better if we can pick out the pawns we want. The game is not that great!!!! What are theses reviews for you don’t even take them and look at them doyou.
Our friend and we love this game and want to play each other online. This app has that feature but it keeps disconnecting and there are not chat features. With a few enhancements it could be the other apps out there…
We don’t like the dice algorithm for this game. Double 1, one/two come up way too often, especially if you are ahead. Also when you are ahead the other pawns magically send your pawns back easily every time when you are about to win, but their pawns find a safe space and get far away from you. There are never any online players, we have tried. Think it’s time to delete the App.
Fun classic game to play with a friend. However, do NOT bother playing against the AI . We played about 12 games and they miraculously roll exactly what they need every time. Boring!
-No doubles bonus available here -Pawns are able to share safe spaces (not supposed to be able to do that) -Bonus moves are supposed to be playable only at the end of your turn, after all numbers on the dice have been used -You’re forced you break up your blockade when you roll doubles.
You do not, NOT get to chose which one of the two die to move first. If you roll a 5 & 2 and want to move your 2 first you cannot. Computer automatically decides. And when everyone keeps blocking to hold everyone up that is not fun. We do not enjoy ‘cut throat’ play in any game. We just want to have fun playing the game. They need to have two tracks: Cut Throat Parchesi and Fun Parchesi.
This is frustrating to play with rules we’ve never heard of and limited moves. The dice rarely roll high numbers but plenty of ones and twos. BUT the big problem is you can easily accidentally hit the remove ads button and spend 99c without meaning to. THEN you can restore the ads without meaning to and set yourself up to lose another 99c. What a racket. We are now "accidentally" deleting this game.
This version of the game is not worth your time. Ridiculous that the computer chooses which pons you can move when you clearly should have a choice to move ANY of your pons within the rules. Even IA makes stupid moves for itself! We will be deleting this app and trying a different one for a Parcheesi game as soon as we’re done with this review! Very disappointed.
Parcheesi is a game special to our childhood, and this version captures quite well. Our only complaint is that random number generator seems to produce some number combinations more than others. We understand the rules of probability, but we noticed what seemed to be a pattern, suggesting either a weak algorithm or that we are a genius with great skills. Either could be argued, but the former is more likely. Otherwise, fun game.
Nearly perfect. We even paid the 99 cents. We would change two things only. First, make the A. We roll honest dice. It often rolls exactly what it needs to cut your pawn or get into home. Secondly, have the screen rotatable, so you can orient your iPad or iPod horizontally.

We don’t like that when we started getting close to winning it started rolling us 3 and the others were getting 10 or doubles.
Great game but what’s the use if the connection is broken EVERY TIME!!! Tried to play with and without wifi! Either way the games freezes and loses connection!!
We do not want to play online as the A1 player is just perfect. This is a good Ludo game. Thanks to the developer.
