Perspective Cards is a Card game from Cru Global, Inc, first launched in 24th October 2014.
It’s rated 4+ and currently has 35+ ratings on the App Store.

What Makes Perspective Cards Stand Out

Many people’s worldviews are becoming increasingly eclectic, while the Christian worldview is becoming increasingly irrelevant and confusing. This can be huge barrier to understanding spiritual reality and knowing God. How can we help those we care for?

Imagine a deck of cards which can guide you through an enjoyable and deeply revealing spiritual conversation. Perspective Cards allows people to share what they believe, explore the Christian worldview, and take the next step on their spiritual journey in an environment where they feel safe. That is the beauty of Perspective.

This Card game offers engaging gameplay and regular updates for mobile players.

Community Insight:

We love using this tool for evangelism. It makes it easy to begin conversations and gain an accurate sense of what people believe.

This is truly a revolutionary tool for evangelism. As one who for years used The Four Spiritual Laws to communicate the Good News, we have found this to be much more effective. Why? The Four Spiritual Laws required one person to sit and listen to a lengthy presentation and then make a binary choice at the end. By contrast, Perspective Cards allow the game-player/survey-participant to do most of the talking, especially during the first part of the presentation. That normally opens him up to hear the presenter give the Christian viewpoint on the issues raised by the survey. The presentation ends with the game-player/survey-participant choosing a Next Step among four options. So far, virtually all of the people with whom we have used the survey have chosen, in one way or another, to continue pursuing information about the issues raised by Perspective Cards. Heres our suggestion for one improvement: At the end of the survey, the survey-participants responses are emailed to him along with a message that has been pre-inserted: May the conversations you have and the ideas you explore sincerely help you on your spiritual journey! Since we are planning to continue the conversation with our game-playing friend and to explore the ideas with him, we need to change that wording: May the conversations we have and the ideas we explore sincerely help us both on our spiritual journeys! This revised wording communicates a message that sounds much less like, we have the answers, and we hope youll find them someday too. The fact is, we dont have all the answers, and by continuing our discussion together, we will both benefit. The rewording puts our relationship with our friend on a much more leveled playing field. Get the tool and use it its terrific.

For friends who dont know where they stand, this is a great resource to talk them through their options. Having clarity around perspectives is the first step to having meaningful discussions around why they believe what they believe and how it is different from a Christian worldview. If we could propose three improvements to the app, it would be 1) how to approach someone who starts from a non-Christian reference point and what to say to them to get them to consider the inadequacy of their perspective compared to the Christian perspective. And 2) it would be helpful to take all these labels and the generate possible camps that people fall into: (we.e. You believed these five things, that means youre probably a Mormon). 3) there should be a way to make this app facilitator freefor example, we might text the app to our friend and the user experience should make it easy for our friend to play the game by himself or herself. Well done! We bought two decks of the physical cards after seeing the concept, because these are wonderful for conversations.

We love perspective cards and we think theyre so great for connecting with people in a way that breaks down their beliefs and is easy to digest. We just think the way this app works it difficult to use and we wish that if you started a game, you could link all the players through a link to your phone and see their results real time to ask questions in the same way that you would with physical cards.

We have the actual deck of cards and the app and it's super handy both ways. It's a great resource to start conversations and to outreach/evangelism. Super easy to navigate and doesn't need data or wifi to be used! AND ITS FREE! Why not get it?? Haha be confident while using it. Practice it on yourself first before using it on others (:.

This helps people listen to each other's perspective, ponder good questions and share in a respectful way. We are on this journey of life together. We should be able to talk about and examine our world views and assumptions.

This is the coolest idea ever! We like the way it breaks down so many concepts in an easy-to-understand form. It's a great way to help one figure out their own beliefs and open the dialogue with others.

We love this app! It is exactly what we were looking for. The fact that it works on iPod and iPad are great also. The fact up to four players can play at once is excellent. It's also cool how the game results can be texted or emailed to us & saved for future reference.

Really helpful tool to understand others' world views on life and spiritual matters.

Really great for conversations and a fun way to connect and hear about what other people think.

This tool is just so great for when people say "we don't know what we believe." Then, it becomes a team effort of "let's figure this out together." The app is great, but we like the physical cards even better.

The app is good for replacing the physical deck in a pinch, but we don't like that every time we open the app it takes us to the setup menu. We would like the app to open up to free play with an option to play the game in the menu on the side.

The creator of these cards presented them to our family. We have been waiting for this app to be released. Now we will start using this tool.

This is an amazing resource. Not only can you play the cards with people easily but the app contains more resources for sharing and for sending with the person you talked with. We think we prefer this over the hard copy and it can more easily go everywhere with us.

A fun & safe way to explore what people believe.

We've been using the physical Perspective Cards to have great conversations with college students and others for a few years now. This app is fantastic because it does as good a job as the cards, we always have it with us and it's free instead of the $10 for the deck.

What a great tool to help anyone think through and articulate their worldview.

Great app. If you start it in landscape on iPad, it does not switch to the right view, but scrunched the layout all together. We have to kill it and restart in portrait view with the iPad positioned correctly first.
