We loved this game until just recently we won the 2800 point game 3 times in a row & it froze. We had to start all over!!!
Great game until you tech level 10 and you unlock the slot boat. If you click on it, the game freezes and wont let you back in. We uninstalled the game thinking it would solve the issue but had to start from the beginning inky to run into the issue a second time.
This is a good offline game and we enjoy playing it, however dont try to play the yacht games or you will have to delete and reinstall the game and start over because it gets stuck in loading.
Great that its offline, but never enough chips.
We enjoy this app for practice but after getting far enough to unlock the slots it freezes and loads forever. We quit the app but when reopening it, the app continues trying to load the slots game. We ended up deleting the whole app and losing our progress and started over. Once we unlocked the slots again, and after an app update, its still freezes and we dont know how to reset it without losing all our progress again. WARNING TO ALL: dont play the slots if you want to keep your progress. Or maybe the developers could fix this because we like that you can play smaller games to win tickets and $ but whats the point of it trashs all your progress.
Our original review is below. We have played this game every day for a year but today it starts to load up then just shuts down. Hope this is temporary. By far better than his later games (governor of poker) – the faces and names create familiar foes with distinct playing styles. Tourneys and head to head matches are challenging and fun. Wish he would do a version two. We completed the game, world champion, after playing a long time. Deleted and restarting because we cant find another offline tournament Holdem App to match it.
This game has been fun & good learning. However, for over a week we’ve tried to get on the app. It gets to the point where it shows us logging in but then freezes & wont open. Last time this happened we uninstalled & reinstalled the app & lost all the $$ we had built up, both in regular play & in our piggy bank. We dont want to uninstall & reinstall again & have the same thing happen. Very very frustrating!!!
We have spent hundreds of real money to play this game and will not spend another cent. WHYI have played this app for over two years without any problems. Played around the world numerous times. Lost a lot but also won a lot. We felt this was the most realistic packer app of all that are free for download. Now l only give this game two stars for its foremat, down from from almost a five star. Reason for; it crashes every time we start a new game and 80% of that time it takes our money without letting us play that game. It takes tickets away when you try to use them. The games screen now is like magnified and peoples chips overlaps faces, and three of the players we cant even see. We have tried multiple times forfeiting our existing chips that we either won and or payed for as to reboot this game hopefully for better results. Still did not fix our problem. Dont even get us started on the annoying advertising . ?
Rookie mistake for an otherwise well built game.
Got thru 2 continents and had $100+ when we tapped on slots and now we just have a spinning chip in the lower left corner of the screen. Grrrr.
Hi! Being forced to watch ads is one thing. Being forced to watch ads for a critter getting shot, killed, and collapsing is another.
The playing is fine, however, the screen is cropped. On our iPad, we are unable to see the players on the left side of the table and therefore, cannot see their chipstacks.
We’ve had this game loaded for about three years and have really enjoyed it. Unfortunately it is now choked with ad content after the latest update and is no longer enjoyable. Ill try it again after we see another available update. After that if its still loaded with ads we will delete it for good.
This game makes it way too hard to play without paying. Once you finish the early levels you cant buy into a game without waiting hours to earn a free match, or pay blackjack against what is the luckiest dealer we’ve ever seen in our life. We contacted support over the iPad version because the left side of the table is cut off. They told us to adjust the display settings on our device. There are no such settings on the iPad.
We’re a dedicated off-line poker player who had a lot of fun with this program, until today. Now it won’t load. All we see is the spinning poker chip with a message that it’s loading… And loading… And loading. If you enjoy spending money on in game purchases only to end up being mesmerized by a spinning poker chip, this is the game for you.
We really liked this app. We reached level 20 and have 10 million coins. And now its stuck on loading, cant get in. Other reviews say it requires a restart, Im not doing that.
The game has become to large on screenfor our air pad and iPad.
Game is not set for viewing all players hands or chip counts, not set for proper viewing. Cant see winning hands on the left side.
The developers of this game is a thief. If you purchase any chips or other game items, beware because your purchase will not last long. Within a week or so of your purchase, the programmer will glitch your game, forcing you to reinstall it and purchase all of your purchases over again. Its a nice scheme, we cannot believe its legal. We’ve reported this to Apple, so hopefully something will be done about it in the near future. As for the game itself, its adequate. It was clearly created by a rookie developer, who does not really know what they are doing, let alone knows anything about Texas Hold em. The one thing that a certain, and if they are robbing their customers blind. In the Old West, cheating players out of their money would earn the cheater a bullet between the eyes. Not everything about the old west was bad.
- Cant actually play offline despite the product name. Its doesnt work in airplane mode and just spins when launching 2. The graphics in the latest version are off the screen on our iPad. Cant see the other players and its really not usable Overall, a fun game before these latest issues Thanks.
Dont bother playing if youre not going to spend money, they kill you with ads.
Deck isnt random. If the deck isnt random real odds dont matter. If real odds dont matter it isnt poker.
We lost 11,402, 626 in chips. This has happened 3 times. Please help. The game is awesome if it would not crash so much. Player_1697057857.
Second time this is happening; we click on the yacht to play 777 or 21 and the game gets stuck in loading mode. The first time this happened we reinstalled the game and had to start over, lost about 150,000 and 10 tickets. This time around we have not uninstalled yet, Im waiting to see if the developer has a solution! Too bad, cause its a fun game to play, but if this doesnt get us any help Ill be looking to spend our money elsewhere!!
Only poker game we have played since we found it, but the new update ruined the game. Made the tabled too big to where we couldnt even see some players. Closed the game to restart and now it wont even load.
Latest update made it so our games wont finish, shows us winning the last hand then never loads the next screen so we had to close the app and restart and we lost all our progress both times. Will not be playing again until this is fixed.
Very fun game, but the problem is when you start winning and racking up some money, the game crashes and cannot be fixed without deleting it and reinstalling the app. After reinstalling the software we had to start over again and once we got up to 100 K chips and eight or nine gold trophies it crashed again. We believe it crashed because we were not spending any money. We are off to find another poker game now.

Game was entertaining until we made it to level 10. The game decided to quit working and then reset all our progress back to level 1 with nothing unlocked.
This game has a very smooth and intuitive play style. Unfortunately soon after learning the mechanics you are forced to pay for tickets with real money in order for you to continue to play. Not our cup of tea. Deleted immediately.
Like others here we got to level 100 and tried to go to 777 and now it won’t load. Please fix!
Good practice, but we see other players bet high before their hand is dealt and they have no way of knowing what their hand will be..
We were really enjoying this game and was doing really good right up until level 9 we think when we unlocked the slots yacht, and when we pressed it, it didnt load, and it sat there for like 20 minutes, and then the game would not load in again even when we just left it sitting for like 2 hours, we then deleted the app and redownloaded and lost all our data, and we had like $100k in chips we even tried the customer service route and no response, kinda disappointing ngl. If this happens again Ill change to a 1 star review.
We love the graphics and the feel of the game. Solo player and enjoyable to pass time. However AI is relatively dumb. Our main issue with this game is the slots boat. We spent some money to get chips and stuff early on and once we unlocked the slots boat we decided to check it out. Do NOT do this. It hard freezes your game. Restarting your phone, closing the app, etc does NOT fix it, and you have to delete the game and redownload it in order to fix the issue, which makes you lose all the progress and chips youve earned. This happened to us TWICE now. We’ve contacted support with 0 luck, and Im pretty mad. Take it out of the game or fix it. So dumb.
This could have been our go to offline poker app as its interface, visuals, and worldwide tourney system makes for an appealing experience. But one huge problem is that if you exit the game in some wrong state (i.e. Anything other than the world map is risky), you can never get back in as it will just be stuck on startup. And the only way out is to delete the app, and then all of your progress is lost grr we’ve now lost all our progress twice, (including $20 in purchases) so Im done with this. We noticed a button in the Settings named Restore Purchases, but pressing it does nothing at all. We will now try to go through customer service to at least get a refund, and will post back here if they actually help vs not giving us any response (which is what Im expecting will happen). Additionally, all the comments from other reviewers about completely ridiculous AI bets and bluffs that ruin the legitimacy and logic of the game is all true. We’ve managed to work our strategy around it, but its certainly not a very realistic experience at times.
We will fix this to 5 stars if it gets fixed, but this new app update has resized our game to not fit all the players on the screen. We cant see opposing players chips/money totals or who Im playing. Its hard to beat a ghost, and its making us want to find a different poker game to spend our money on.
Loved this game for a while- update has prevented us from playing. Once its fixed Ill start again.
