This is by far the best pool game in the app store. The ONLY thing we wish was different was if there was the option to pay to get rid of ads.

28 Jan 2021 Congratulations, dear Player! Yes, three cheers and huzzah for reaching level 1020! We say this because the game won’t. It just ends abruptly at table 1020. What other reviewers say is true: ball physics are pretty realistic. It’s easy to line up your shot and control the force used (Luke). Pooking builds your confidence. You will pocket more balls here than you would on a real table. Tip: try playing in Airplane Mode! Suggestions for the devs: -Please get rid of the oddball tables! They are aggravating and don’t belong in the game. -Please provide an option to disable the hand. -Instead of designing 1000 different starting positions, why not simply rack the balls? Let the player choose between 8-ball, 9-ball, and 14.1 racks. -Let the player set up practice shots. -Let the player replay the last position. -And thanks for making a game that gave us many hours of enjoyment! Update 24 July 2023 Table 2222 and still going! The game runs fine and we never see ads. We play on iPad Pro with Wi-Fi turned off. The ‘reward’ cues don’t play any better than the basic one — they are just distracting. We use the very first cue. Our biggest gripe is ‘the hand’. It’s an UNWELCOME nuisance. How about making a Hardcore Mode option with NO HAND??

Obviously we’ve been playing for awhile. Got to level 2107 and it just doesnt work at all. We uninstalled then reinstalled only to be started right back to level one. This is very disappointing.
Anyone else stuck on table 607? It starts to take that first shot then locks up before the cue strikes the cue ball. Bug?
After every level (which is short), there is an ad. If there were an option to pay to turn off ads, we wouldnt delete the app but we just dont have time for an ad every 1.5-2 mins of play.
Our first time through, we managed 1300+ flawless games. This time we finally gave up after 28 games because the cue ball stutters to a stop in the middle of a shot – on numerous occasions, and the action freezes in mid shot. We have used the same ipad each time we load this game. Sadly, we really like this game.
We love this game and it worked great until recently. It freezes up all the time now. We have updated it, turned our phone off and back on and still having issues. We have an IPhone so we dont know what the problem is.
We are at table number 3787 and the game freezes when we attempt the first shot.
It seems to be crashing a lot cant play more the 5 games and crashes a lot of bugs in it.
You win every game & you can see the bot line up to miss. Pretty stupid game; no challenge, nothing live.

Good game for someone just starting pool. Learning lots of geometry and angles, making it fun to play.
The game is great. We come back to it every so often. We just updated the latest version, but level 607 is stuck. Im unable to break, and the game freezes. Hoping for a fix soon.
This game is enjoyable other than the fact of so many ads being pushed on you. The excess of ads makes it leas desirable to play, especially when it forces the app store to open without consent from the user. Honestly it makes us hate the actual content of the product that is being shoved down your throat, fir that reason we would not consider one bit in engaging in any of the games being shown during the ads.
We actually have to spend more time watching ads than playing each level. It is just too much and ruins the game. Game freezes up and wont move on to next level. We have to uninstall the game and reinstall the game then it might play 10 to 20 games brfore locking up again. Very frustrating. 6/3/23 game still freezes and has to be reinstalled. It is a good game when you get to actually play it.
Was lots of fun until the game started locking up between each round. We dont mind ads, but google ads seems to be crashing the app.

2956 games all crowns to date. We particularly enjoy games one can play offline – since internet connection isnt always available when off grid camping. Didnt much care for the different shaped pool tables in the first 900 or so games – we really dont remember how far back the odd shapes stopped.. The geometry playing this game is transferable to our standard pool table. You can actually see multiple shots you didnt think you could make before playing this game. As far as the ads – think outside the box.
The game is great get rid of the commercials and ads.
But, if you like playing, but, not competitively, its the best.
We’ve been playing Pooking for a long time along with our other games. We have throughly enjoyed it. When the upper levels are achieved the difficulty is very challenging. The shot accuracy is more precise. Overall it is a lot of fun and we highly recommend it. Our description of Pooking can be summed up in two words: VERY ENJOYABLE!

The game is good but when we get to certain stages of the game it freezes up and we have to reload the game and start back at level 1.
