Our first handheld we could buy with our own money was the original fat PSP. Im getting high on the nostalgia this brings us! Also thank you to the developers that brought this to iOS we will gladly pay to support projects like these.
Good for playing madden and it works on iPad And it wrok without internet connection.
Simply amazing quality and emulation which is totally worth supporting the dev, also allows us to stay away from the regular App Store garbage mobile apps.
On other devices like our Steamdeck this emulator had a 60fps option that could be applied to any game you play. This version did not have a way to do that out of the box. We were able to find some code online and enter it into the emulator as a cheat to force 60fps and it works great. Aside from that work around this emulator works like a dream on IPad and is still 5 stars!
Finally the PPSSPP is back on iOS without the need of jailbreaking your device (if thats even still a thing). Wanted to show our support by buying the gold edition considering we had a few bucks to spend. Theres a few bugs here and there where the app force closes, unsure if thats cause of the games downloaded or if its the actual app. We also have battery percentage enabled but it doesnt show our battery life. These are really the only complaints.
Wanted to support the dev(s) with this awesome retro emulator so we got the paid one. Only problem is Save State does not work, anytime we try to save our GoW progress the app force closes and we have to restart our whole progression. Please fix.
Glad there is a paid version to contribute to the Dev/s Was able to transfer saves, games, states and other misc via iPhone 12 Pro Max just fine Blue and Gold versions seem identical so far except the gold icon. Thank you for making this!!!
We’ve been using this emulator since 2015 on android and have always wanted an easy way to play on iOS. Fantastic product, happy to pay for gold as we have on our other platforms. A backbone truly makes this a modern psp handheld! Would love to see a true XMB style interface, but waves background will work just fine for now! Incredible work as always.

Finally having ppsspp on iOS is such a game changer. Best emulator we’ve ever used hands down, it works perfectly. Only issue is that there seems to be no option to change your nickname so if you are doing anything that requires that sadly it wont work.
Finally the awesome PPSSPP made it to the iPhone! From the App Store without ads unlike Gamma or side-loading. Im so excited and pleased to support the GOLD version of PPSSPP. Remember to support the developments for their hard work and dedication. Apple devices owners should be happy. No more thinking about switching to Android. If you know, you know. What a time to be alive and to see iOS shining. 2024! Now, Im just waiting on DuckStation. !!!!
Used the regular version and played games for days, wanted to support the dev and give our emulator some bling.
We still have two PSP 1000s in order to keep our collection of psp games alive. Nice to have options if/when those devices finally die. Kudos to Sony though, the hardware is still pretty solid. But extra kudos to the dev for bringing this to the iPhone. An excellent recreation of the hardware experience. Worth supporting the dev.

We switched from the S23 Ultra to the iPhone 15 Pro and the biggest thing we missed about Android was easy emulation and especially PPSSPP. We just wrapped up FF7 on iOS and Im so happy we can play Dissidia without having to switch to another device. Love this app, thanks devs!
We were able to play ghost of Sparta on our iPhone so it works.
When we use PPSSPP the normal version or even the gold, we see a lot of "??????" Signs in the settings, this mean we can’t read what is it the setting we want. //23-5-2024// iPhone X – ios 15.6 // phone language: Arabic (but the language in the app is English).
Paid the $5 and everything is buggy. We cant play anything on our 12 mini. Please fix this.
