Player Experience Highlights

Community Insight:

This app is for the Chinese domino Pai Gow, the original, not the American poker like variants. There are 3 ways to play a Pai Gow hand, many hands involve tough decisions. The app has two modes. In the first you input a hand and it gives you the analysis. What the win/loss/push percentages are, what the EV of all 3 plays would be and which is the house way. In the second you play a stream of hands as banker or player. The system let's you know every time you play sub-optimally giving you access to the analysis above as to why. The game is going to teach you to cut the house edge. You still can't beat commission but you will avoid leaking extra EV.

Just played our 4000th hand. Stats prove this sim to be very realistic. Is there a tutorial to learn the ideal way to set each hand? Obviously, the house way isnt always the best.

This game will prepare you to play confidently at the tables in Vegas! Few people understand it so you always get a seat. The game inherently has a lot of ties so you can play for a long time.

Tiles was the first game we learned after being in the biz for a year and we dont regret it. This app is great because it lets you set your hand first then tells you how you played it wrong lol. The house ways are like most casinos we have played and be pretty accurate. We broke in at Foxwoods and at the time their house way was very aggressive. A lot of houses played hands to push but Foxwoods played to beat you lol. When the zombies/COVID finally go away we cant wait to go back to Vegas and play again.

Some hands for house way has to be fixed.

Good for learning but EXTREMELY unrealistic game play. They will always win so that you are forced to buy more chips to continue playing. Worst Paige app we have ever played.

This is by far the best Pai Gow Tiles App in App Store as of right now (October 2018). Straightforward interface and helpful stats make learning the game and optimal strategy as easy as it can be given the nuances of the game. Whether you want to play a few hands or for 15 minutes this app is a great way to play some hands.

Good app. Commercials are annoying. Could use page of hand ranks, maybe strategy page also.

Which casino did you use for the house way? We never played in a casino that plays the same house way that you have for the game.

New Pai Gow player. We learned the basics through reading tutorials but this app solidified what we had learned by providing real feedback on our performance. Even if youre not learning and just want to play, youll find that here too. The statistics provided and the rationale behind our moves is very neat. We wish there were even more features- only because this developer does his features right. Would love to see what else he could do. A small suggestion would be a way to manually restart sessions and overall statistics.
