After playing for a while, an update brought an intolerable amount of LONG ads, again and again. DELETED. Id be willing to pay for an Ad free version but such option not available. Boooo! Update: downloaded again to see if ads have been lessened. On the contrary, more ads than play. Not only it has ad banners but long and too frequent 30 second BORING ads. DELETED again.
These are best yet with many new word puzzles!!!
Fantastic way to stimulate learning and brain exercising.
This word puzzle game is exactly what we’ve been looking for. Im visually impaired and have difficulty seeing certain graphics. The ones used here are the perfect size and contrast. Our 9yr old grandson loves to sit with us and we play together. We have discussions about new words to increase both our vocabularies. At 9, our grandson is studying engineering and coding in school. He wants to design video and computer games and apps. His comment has been that if he could make the perfect puzzle game for us that we can see, not alot of annoying game music, and one we enjoy, it would be just like this one. So, hes impressed as well, and also inspired. We enjoy this app so much. All we know is that all others have now been removed. We love the bonus of the jigsaw puzzle surprise that comes as well. We have 3yr old twin great-grand babies who enjoy and are learning from those photos. Its a family affair. The next app like this Ill add will be one our grandson creates. Thank you for your quality for someone like us, right now its perfect. The value it has brought among time we get to spend with our family is immeasurable. We all love that.

Too many ads – not interested.
The game itself is so calming and the animal pictures remind us of the posters you would by at the scholastic book fair in elementary school. It honestly makes our day (is that weird?) either way, love it.

We really enjoy this game but am frustrated by the mu,Bert of blackouts that constantly interrupt play. Hopefully these will be fixed soon.
Been waiting for a few months for word arcade to get more puzzles. Whats the hold up? Cant play some of our challenges because theres no more levels.
Upon agreeing to play the ladybug challenge following the prompt, our iPhone 12 (iOS 16.5) processing and game play was extremely slow. It was nearly impossible to select the letters on the prompt dial. In fact our iPhone nearly locked up and hung. When we finally was able to quit this game, our background photo on our Home Screen was skewed diagonally. It was only after we deleted this game, did our Home Screens background photo reset.
We love this game. It is one of our favorites. However, the ad for Royal Match comes on frequently and there are many times that it repeats and we cant stop it. Doesnt make us want to get that game. Please do something about this. We want to stay with this game.
We finished word arcade and still waiting. Ill never pay a monthly fee for removing ads. Otherwise its okay.
Idk wth happened but all of the sudden (level 700) we are slammed with adds.. What was once a pleasurable game has now become an annoyance.. We can of course stop the adds for $4.99 a month.. But its not worth it to us.. We are more than willing to support a developer.. Im just not willing to get gouged.. Thanks for the fun..

We wish this had audio help for our blind friend. Hes on level 976 now, but only because we read the letters out loud & connect them for him. He loves it a lot! As for myself, Im addicted! We left a certain other game like this because it kept taking our coins & putting our in tournaments without our permission. All we want to do is relax & have fun. We loooooove this game!!!
Love the the game, playing for years, but now having problem with eyesight need to be able to make screen or letters bigger. Can not make screen bigger with iPhone.
Great game. BUT we deleted it when the ad for Word Calm kept popping up incessantly and annoyingly. And there are words that exist which they deny are real words in many games. Then finally, we couldnt solve one puzzle and it didnt work to get coins when we watched an ad. We remained stuck there and could not move on.
Best game yet! Super challenging, yet relaxing!
Love the game, mostly. We wish it used the same dictionary as is used in Words With Friends. Also, the ads are annoying, and for the low, low price of $4.99 per month, you can have them removed. What the ? We have been a loyal customer of the developer of this app, and this stuff makes us angry.
The dictionary could be improved. For example the word lust is not recognized but the word lusts was one of the answers. The word ret is recognized by all other word games but not this one. There are many other examples. Except for this, it is a 5 star game.
This was a great game, but recent changes have ruined it. No longer do you get a point for bonus words. Instead you may get 10 points for a pot of 25 bonus words. All the coin points have been decreased. We wont buy them. We just wont play often anymore.
This app is fun to play but we really just got it because of what the ad shows. Which is a lie. The ad is nothing like the word game. We would give zero stars but obvi not possible. We do NOT recommend.
This game is fun and also works and is, thus, healthy for the brain.
We enjoy spending time figuring out the words but the game for us is a lot to be desired, like ease in switching from one puzzle to the next. If we do not originally start with the daily quest, we have such a time getting to it. We also have difficulty guessing the correct word for the ladybug. We get all the words, but rarely in the right order, maybe its us, but we just cant determine the order. Spending hours a day just figuring,
Would like to see an ad free version. Not a monthly payment either. Thats dumb. Also, everyday we get a free spin notification, however when we click the notification it just goes to the app, no free spin. IOS. All updates (app & iOS) are up to date. IPhone 12 Pro.

The game is fun, but there are too many commercials! There is an ad after every single game. It is way too much. Please cut down on the amount of ads.
We play and love Puzzlescapes and Im very far along but we find it very annoying trying to advance to the next puzzle with all the ads. Also, every so often part of the puzzle goes dark (not completely and its not our IPad, its a pattern or a sequence), and at the end of this puzzle you cant advance to the next one. Its like the screen is froze up. So we turn off the IPad completely and turn it back on and everything is fine until the next time.
What made this game unique was the beautiful puzzles. Now its still called Puzzlescapes, but the puzzles are gone. And every person who has asked what the coins are good for had been ignored. So you collect coins that are useless and dont even get a pretty picture as a reward anymore. We have plenty of other similar word games. No need to play this one any more.
For some reason the last few updates have killed performance of the game. It is barely playable and it heats up our phone and drains the battery while Im playing it. This is on an iPhone 11, so its not like this is an older phone or anything. Its gotten bad enough to the point where we dont care to play it anymore because it lags so much in game.
We dont like that they got rid of the puzzles in this new update. The puzzles were the reason we downloaded the game in the first place. We just think that it isnt cool. We were drawn to that aspect of it, but in the new update, they are nowhere to be found. In the description for the game it even says that there are still puzzles but thats just not true. Please bring back our puzzles.
Our Puzzlescapes game recently had an update which is part of our problem. It no longer lets us play the game. It will not load. Now we have to start all over on a different device. Our level was in the thousands. Now back to start! Very sad!

A lot fewer ads, new words. We kind of miss being able to see all players on the bees and lady bugs events but no biggie. We also like the cleaner bonus display that gets you coins. Still not sure what the intelligence score represents though.
We like this because we love wordy games, however, its pretty much the same words over and over. Also, no proper nouns right, and yet you have Chile instead of chili. Also whats the point of collecting the coins if you cant use them? It would be nice to use the coins to bank extra hints instead of waiting to run out of them.
