Community Insight:

We love playing this word game, it's not like anything we've ever seen! Super addicting! If you love words, you'll love this.

We love this game, but you cant type quickly on it. We would love to see what we could come up with if typing wasnt so slow. Id even be willing to pay per match if we could actually use the time to come up with words.

First, this is the only app Ive paid for that still makes us sit through way too many agonizing ads. Seriously, you expect us to pay additional money to remove the ads?? Thats greedy. Second, we stopped playing the definition game because it isnt too bright. It simply looks for matching words so your definition doesnt really need to be coherent, just type as many words as you can that you hope will match. It also doesnt credit you for using a different form of a given word, so you better hope youre writing in the proper tense. What would make it better is to use AI to decipher the definition written and score it. At least it would be more accurate.

Fun and challenging in a good way! Do miss the curtain animation though.

We like the art style and music of the game, as well as diversity of game modes. However – a few improvements that can be made: #1 Splat game mode is good concept but kind of bad execution, even if we get rid of all bugs we can still run out of time and lose which doesnt make sense. Also, if only consonants appear as bugs, there is no opportunity to make a word and you are just sitting there waiting. #2 – time attack is fun but it doesnt give you any sort of indication for the words that you missed – we feel like that would be helpful to improve your vocabulary once the round is over. Because there is no detailed stats about words and results, it makes the relatability of this game not feel worth it.

This is a really fun game, this is the type of word game im looking for, a short collection of super fun word games. However we wish that sentence case and cupid's arrow were also unlimited to play, and premium could just be for extra perks and all that stuff. Or at the very least sentence case and cupids arrow could have limited plays per day.

This is a great game for the most part. We paid the 4.99 or whatever for ad-free, but we still have to watch ads when we play the daily definundrum. Most of the time they arent too bad but those Royal Match ads are endless. Just kind of annoying to pay money and still have to sit through them.

On our iPhone we would give this app 5 stars. The games are fun and engaging. We have tried all of the games, but enjoy Time Attack and Cupids Arrow the most. We mainly play in solo form. Our iPad version is not as clean and tends to glitch more often; thus, we would give it 4 stars. The Cupids Arrow game has a tendency to miss giving points even when the words are in the definition. For example, we received no points for black and white in the definition of zebra.

The game is very fun and we play it with our partner often. There are some points of contention that make the game frustrating at times. The keyboard is INCREDIBLY slow and the distances between the keys are so close that mistyping happens with EVERY WORD. As you can imagine, in a timed game, this can be really flustering. The clear button takes a full half second to clear a word, making it almost faster just to hit backspace. If you hit clear many times in a row, it wont clear the word until the last press registers. The dictionary they use doesnt seem to be a standard dictionary because its missing common word variants and other common parlance but contains proper nouns for some reason. These criticisms are solely to alert the devs and not anything that prevents us from coming back to the game over and over again. This game is a blast if you like word games.

We really like the idea of this game, but its too hard. Some might say its a skill issue, but the way it counts the points words give is just unfair. Sometimes we give words that are way harder/bigger than the other players, but still get less points! Ive had this game since yesterday, played all day, and still havent won a single match. Its definitely not a skill issue.

This is a fun, unusual, amusingly designed word game. Originally we left a lower review because the glitch we describe below was frustrating. But we discovered we dont have to reboot the iPadjust close the game and come back later. And there are our scores! Earlier review: When Ive played, in solo mode, the game ends, asked us to wait for results, then shows us an ad (both times for Monopoly Go). The ad ends andnothing. We cant close it, waiting does nothing, tapping on the ad just gives us the option to download Monopoly. Have to shut down the iPad completely to get rid of the ad. We never get results. This isumfrustrating. Makes us not want to play again.

We love this game. Im improving over time, getting faster, choosing longer words excetera. Now thats a good word to use! You may borrow it if you like. We think our vocabulary is expanding as well. Its fun to see what words our opponent uses, they are usually very different from ours. All in all, a very good, fast paced game.

Scratches your brain in the best way. Challenging without being stressful. All the fun of Wordle with more games to play.

This can be addicting! We enjoy playing against other players. The wait time to find a match sometimes take too long. Glitches and people leaving mid game can be frustrating. Fun game and Im keeping this app on our phone for now.

We genuinely dont understand the poor reviews – like they actually crack us up. We find the game so catchy and fun – we actually cant wait to play it every morning with our coffee before we settle into our workday. We actually ended up deleting some other word game apps we have. Great app.

A true word game without cartoon characters or campy backgrounds. Its about skill.

Worked great for about a week then the glitches are back.

This is the best word-related app Ive found in a long time. Our brain is dredging up words Id forgotten we knew. We especially enjoy the multiplayer mode. A few stall glitches, but that will improve, Im sure. We have one recommendation. After a multiplayer Wordplay game is finished, there are only two options – Rematch with the same player or Quit. If you want to keep playing, but with a different player, you have to quit and go back through screens to get a new player. Is there a way to put all options on one screen after the end of a multiplayer match? As in Rematch (same player), New Player, or Quit.

We've enjoyed playing this game a lot. The only gripe we Have is not being to play in landscape. We spend majority of our time on our IPad which is designed for landscape (we actually don't know if we've ever held our iPad vertically) we would love to see this game on our iPad.

So far Im liking what we see, the games are fun lil time-passers that remind us a bit of simplified, scaled-down jackbox games. The aesthetic is very charming as well. Unfortunately there are a hefty number of bugs in the iPhone version from crashes to the dictionary failing to populate to splat straight up not working. Get these fixed, expand some of the gameplay and youll have a gem on your hands.

We tried to like this game. We played it regularly for a couple months. We did our best to ignore the many many bugs and the limited dictionary that doesnt allow a lot of legitimate words. But then the solution to the Daily Definundrum was a word that wasnt in the games dictionary! No matter how many times we tried to enter that word, it would not accept it. Then when we lost, it showed us the solution that it had not let us enter! And it called us a dunce for not being able to solve it. We give up. Its not fun anymore.

Hi, our mom and we play this game all the time and we love it its interesting and fun and keeps you on your toes and your mind sharp! There are however many bugs that need fixing, the multiplayer is especially frustrating as we both have to restart the entire game to play again (quite often), and there are a lot of words that arent included that should be, other than that great game.

We cant play this with such raunchy ads popping up. What if our daughter saw these? It seemed like it would be fun otherwise.

We love the idea of this game. But having played it for a few months now, theres issues. First off, the daily challenge clues arent great. We think they must be trying to make clues tricky, but it only makes them not fit the actual word. Just one example: the clue was to show how a product worked and it started with D. Naturally we put in demonstration. It was wrong. Demo was the correct answer. Which is technically correct but not the obvious choice. Also, the leaderboards dont update for days. We hope it gets better.

This may be set up for a phone, but when we play on our iPad, it is awfully small. It is hard sometimes to get the correct letter because of the size of the gameplay area. Please make it bigger or sized to an iPad. Thanks.

We dont care how smart you are or how expansive your vocabulary is, this game is not for you! We dont care if you can recall 75 words a minute containing the letters v & f or how advanced your ability to win the US National Spelling Bee is, this game is NOT FOR YOU! If you are over the age of 60 and do not own a iPhone and do not speed text your friends 24/7, do not purchase this game. Poor eyesight? Forget it. Youll need a magnifying glass to see the keyboard on this miniscule game. As for those of you who require an iPen to tap out the keys, do not expect to ever in a million years WIN any game on Qwert. Wholeheartedly dissatisfied with this game even if does have a cute quirky steampunk graphics. How do we get refunded.

We want to play it and we want to love it but we cant use our add-on ipad keyboard with it! Is there a way to do this.

We love this game. Sorted making a room touch the button only once.

We really like the play and the design. The keyboard is very tight, though, and we mistype a lot with letters adjacent to those we intend.

We really enjoy this and the ever changing rules, especially in the Word Play mode. Ive gotten a few friends to download it and we play against one another. A nice little brain break.

Great game!! Cant stop playing.

This is a fun game. We were hoping to play with our sister so she downloaded it and weve tried sending each other the private room numbers and they just keep saying invalid – Im wondering if its because we have an apple and she has an android? We told her she should get her husband to download it and play it with her though. An in-person multiplayer option, like a pass and play of some sort would be a nice addition. Also, we either just can not figure out the Splat mode or it just doesnt work, Im not sure.

We think theres a great game here potentially if there were more live players. Clearly bots are used in multiplayer a lot we think we have only encountered live players a couple times. You can tell theyre bots because they choose the most unlikely and preposterous words that dont even score that highly.

Im very much enjoying playing this game because it is engaging and fast paced – two qualities we did not expect from a word game. But, alas, Im forced to give only four stars as some words are missing. We attempted using the word antidisestablishmentarianism but the game did not recognize that word. Please add some more long words that can be recognized :).

We downloaded Qwert. Because of the ads about it being multiplayer. After we downloaded Qwert. We went to multiplayer and tapped on time attack. We saw the option to invite someone to play with, we tried to invite our brother to play Qwert. With us after he downloaded the app. But when we tried to invite him for the first time it didnt work and we went to iMessages to click on the link we sent to our brother it still didnt work. We tried it again without clicking on the link and we tried to wait but our brother left the queue because it still didnt work, so we told our brother to try to invite us but after some tries it still didnt work. And we thought that you had to tap on find match while getting invited, so we told our bro about that and it just sent him to a game with a stranger. He actually had some fun with the game but it wouldve been more fun if we could play with eachother.

This game has been our nightly go to when we need something to hyper focus on. It helps us de stress while simultaneously working out our brain muscles Thank you.

We really like this game, the multiplayer is amazing. Ill play this game for 30 minutes at a time and it keeps our attention with the constantly changing rules. One of our only complaints with multiplayer is that the dictionary should be expanded, but besides that its really fun. The problem with this game, in our opinion, comes with the solo game, specifically splat. Splat has a great concept, but the issue comes with the letters spawning. With our experience, Ill be waiting for a good 10-20 seconds waiting for just a vowel. And most of the time that vowel can only be used for a 4-5 letter word due to too many S letters or some other syllable. We feel like if you upped the spawning rate/increased the chances for vowels to spawn it could be a lot more enjoyable. Overall, its a really fun game. We just think Splat could be improved upon. Keep working on this and we think it could be one of our and many others favorite game.

We just finished our last match and lost but outscored our opponent, we ended up deleting the app. Also received our record score word in same match jacuzzis.

Love the Victorian era aesthetic of the game & so happy to have found a new word game to add to our repertoire. Super fun & mentally engaging bringing together the best elements of Wordle, Spelling Bee, & Scrabble/Words with Friends.

Fun game will have you addicted.

This word game is for everyone! Each game within Qwert is engaging. It is both challenging and relaxing to play because it takes enough concentration to keep us focused, but it is still relaxing and great to play during some down time. If we could give it 6 stars, we would.

Great game that challenges your brain and vocabulary! Im addicted! Highly recommend.

Love the competitive, time crunch element! We never realized we knew so many words! More fun than Wordle and addicting to top the leaderboard.

This game is super fun and creative.

Hands down- the best word game ever! Sooo much fun! 5 bucks to remove ads and get dictionary feature is well worth it! This gane is addicting.

You cant see what you are typing. This makes it really hard to play quickly.

We cant stop playing- Im addicted to being in a top spot on the leaderboard. We love how Qwert forces us to be creative coming up with words. Also- can we just stop and appreciate the aesthetics and vibes? We feel like most word games are so run of the mill, so uncreative, so Boggle meets Crossword puzzle over and over and over! Theres finally a word game that breaks the mold.

This is the best word game ever. We have never had this much fun playing this.

Game is a ton of fun so far! But our only complaint is the the keyboard is too large and it covers up where we are typing. This makes rounds very difficult because we cant see what Im typing or if Ive made a typo. This also makes splat essentially impossible to play.
