Raiders Solo is a Card/Board game from Garphill Games Limited, first launched in 13th April 2020.
It’s rated 9+ and currently has 7+ ratings on the App Store.

What Makes Raiders Solo Stand Out

This is a solo variant for Raiders of the North Sea, which requires the physical board game to be played. It is also compatible with Hall of Heroes, Fields of Fame and all promo materials. This variant includes 23 scheme cards which drive the decision making process of the AI opponent.

You will always take your turn first, followed by your opponent. Your turns function just as they would in the standard game (with the exception of 1 Village location being blocked each turn). Your opponent’s turns operate differently. On their turn, reveal the top Scheme Card from the Schemes Draw Pile and follow its instructions. Your opponent will always attempt to Raid if they can. Otherwise, they will Work.

This Card game offers engaging gameplay and regular updates for mobile players.

Community Insight:

This app replaces the solo deck for Raiders of the North Sea. Its easy to use and does what its supposed to. Im satisfied.

This solo version to play alongside the actual board game is really fun. Played with the Hall of Heroes expansion only adds to the fun. He gets so many points on those quests.

Played once and worked well. Im not a hardcore gamer so Im happy with anything that helps us play our favorite games. This game has been on the shelf since Covid so Ive been thinking of selling it. With this app we can play again. The app seems skewed in its favor, but actually that is to offset your moves and other mechanics of the game. Our first game ended in a tie. So Im satisfied that this solo mode app will give us more challenges in the future. It looks good, runs smooth and fast. And a huge benefit is, the app makes the game go much quicker because youre not having to wait for the other player to finish their move. Thanks for this.

Works fine if you are not interrupted. That said Im learning the game and with no save we cant finish a game before something happens. Even repurposed an older iPad but still no go. Would rather play to have the solo card pack.

Not having a Save Game feature takes this from a 5-star to a 2-star for us. We like to relax & take games slow when we solo them, and its rare a game isnt interrupted. No save feature seems inexplicable in a product like this. Really miss the physical card deck, which of course was never a problem in this regard.

Any chance we can get our money back having missed the fine print that this is a companion app to the physical board game and not a solo app.

This doesnt come out directly and tell you that this requires the board game to play. This is not a full digital port of the solo game, just a helper that is used with the actual board game.
