What Makes Random Mahjong Pro Stand Out
Just when you thought Mahjong had been covered on iPhone/iPad, along comes a stylish Solitaire Mahjong game ready to take centre stage. The game looks incredible on an iPad, but still manages to look and play great on an iPhone or iPod Touch.
The game uses a unique random board generator, so every time you start your game, a fresh challenge awaits. The levels can be as small as 32 tiles, or as large as 152! You can play a sequence of expanding boards (with Score, Levels and Lives), or use the random generator to build a custom level to fit your needs.
You have full control over the look and feel, the camera Zooming/Scrolling, the size and complexity of the levels, and the guides/hints/suggestions during play.
The small 32 tile level and a solution walkthrough for every board is perfect for teaching the basic rules and logic to anyone who has not played the Solitaire or Shanghai variant of Mahjong before.

We quickly gave 5-stars since this was our fav Mahjong game in the past decade or so but unfortunately we quickly discovered that this game is no longer functional. Go into Quick Game > Preset Level, select Big layout and advance to the 40th (Incas and on) layouts. The layouts will no longer load. You will only see the spinning cursor but the preview layout will never finish loading. Previously these worked like a snap. Sad that its now broken and unplayable, iPad 6 / iOS 15.7.
This is our all time favorite game. Variety and challenges never stops. Very fun. Played it for years now. Not just for the kiddos.

Still one of the apps we use the most on our phone. We have been playing for years now. We love this game and it's beautiful to look at. **Updatewith the iOS 11 update, the in-app leaderboards disappeared from the paid version. We dont NEED to see who Im better than to enjoy the game, but its a pretty cool feature.

New options menu no longer has our own scoring history. Not interested in what's going on in the whole world. For this reason, we don't play as much as we used to. Lost our drive to play against ourselves. Please bring back the old scores option.
This is a really great Mahjong app. The graphics look really pretty and the animations run super smooth. We play this on our iPad Mini Retina and on our iPhone 5S without any problems. We wish this had gamecenter.
This is simply the best mah-jongg you can download for your iPhone. It's fantastic, runs super smooth, and is really fun to play.
Great game, but the latest version won't let you permanently turn off the sound. You have to do it every time you play.
We have to toggle off the sounds every time we want to play and it no longer remembers our name for the scoreboard. It's fun, but we are annoyed that it's so noisy every time and won't remember our settings. It used to until the latest update…hope they fix this bug.
We downloaded multiple mahjong games, and this one is, by far, our favorite. The graphics are really clean and nice looking and the sounds are fun and not annoying, but our favorite part is that as tiles are taken away the screen zooms in on the tiles that are left, making it easy to see and play.
This is a beautiful and delightful app to play! Runs seamlessly through all the choices. There are 3 levels of difficulty to choose from, backgrounds in traditional Chinese colors, tile styles, and even the customizing of the games is excellent. We only wish that they would add even more than 50 puzzles in the future. All else is great as it is.
We have payed every one of these apps. Truly, this is the best of the best! Recommend to all, get it you will delighted.

This game has a fit and finish that many other tile games lack. We wish there was an undo function, but other than that, it's great (and maybe we just don't know where it is). Well worth the few bucks.

Best mahjong app out there by far.
This is the best Mahjong game we've found in the app store so far. It has customization options for tiles, displays, "free" tiles, backgrounds and zoom, while still maintaining a clean and appealing user interface. Well done! The graphics are beautiful and the animation is smooth. We love the auto-zoom feature! Three difficulty levels and the use of "lives" when you run out of matches gives the game an arcade feel. It would be awesome if they added a Zen mode with a shuffle option for a more relaxed game play. The sound effects are fine but the option to add background music (either preloaded or from iPod) would be a nice addition as well. Even without these additions though, we'd still recommend this app to anyone who enjoys playing Mahjong.
It's a decent mahjongg game, nice graphics and polished. There's one mistake that drives us crazy, though – the characters for East and South are switched… The letter S is on the East tile, and the letter E is on the South tile. Not a big deal to those who aren't very familiar with Chinese characters or don't play enough to notice, but it does distract us a lot for some reason, and keeps us from playing this as much as other mahjongg games. Fix it, and you'll get a fifth star. :).
The "fa1" character is upside-down. Also, as someone else wrote, E and S are mixed up. Otherwise, the tile designs are OK, but not as pleasant as those in Shanghai Mahjong and you don't get a funny fortune when you win. However, what's nice about this app is that you can have the tiles placed randomly if you want a more difficult game.
This is a good game–very addictive.
We also like this Mahjong better than any other we have seen. The program keeps quitting on our iPad. Hopefully they will address this instability in a future update.

Plays very well. Good graphics and animation and being able to select the amount of tiles for the game makes it very versatile. We'll put Shanghi to rest for now. Tunis for a great app.
We're a big fan of mahjong solitaire games – and this is the very best example of truly great gameplay, pleasing graphics and endless playability. On the iPhone, it's beautiful and fun: a good way to pass the time or relax. On the iPad, it is an absolute treasure.

We've played many solitaire Mahjong games over the years and have grown kind of tired of them since they're all basically the same. This is the first one in quite a while that really engaged us with a intriguing play style and an interesting challenge, we really like the expanding board levels and lives. Highly recommended for any Mahjong lover. And they are right in the description — the game looks incredible on the iPad.

We own every mahjong app that's sold in the iTunes App store and we have to say this is rapidly becoming one of our favorites. We love the levels available, nice UI and great graphics. For .99, you're actually getting a bargain and the hard level is surprisingly challenging. We were a bit skeptical at first when we saw it on our recommendations because we've downloaded a few apps with positive reviews and we didn't find them so great. This one is very awesome.
We love playing this on our PC and finding one for our iPod Touch is great. We love the graphics, the simple layout, it's very easy to use. It's just great :-D.

Bottom line, for the price of $0.99 you will not find a better mahjong app. Actually, you will not find a better mahjong app than this one at any price. If you like these types of games, using an old clich that really fits here… Getting this app is a no brainer.
This game is beautifully done, fun and responsive, even on our 1 gen touch. This has earned a permanent spot on our iDevice. We paticularly like the replayability with this game, since the levels are created on the fly as you start the game. It is a sight to behold.
We've been using 3D mahjong for quite a few months and enjoyed it, but pretty much solved every puzzle. We purchased Random Factor Mahjong and thought we'd be unhappy with a 2D version. Not so. This app is quite elegant in the presentation and the game play allows the user to pick easy, med., and hard. Hard is really challenging so there's plenty of game play.
This has to be the best visual version of the puzzle. Very pleaseing to the eye and fun to play.

We have tried several MahJong apps, but none compare to Random Factor Mahjong. With a nice interface, smooth game play, and very nice graphics, it is a pleasure to play this game. If you enjoy this type of game look no further.
