Community Insight:

Fun word game and the daily challenges change things up enough that it doesnt get boring.

The aspects and boons and potions and point system makes this game different every day.

Great game but needs a dictionary after the play to define some of the words played.

Try this out if youre in WWF or Scrabble. Youll love it.

This game is truly an original word game! Its well thought out and clearly the developers have a good sense of humor. Some suggestions to make even better! 1) How about giving a second opportunity to beat a level? Its boring to have to start all over again every time we fail. But only two! 2) we would appreciate a better explanation of what the boons and potions do. Overall, a great game.

This game is a lot of fun! Just be careful not to like it too much. For some reason, the developers programmed it to give you tons of garbage letters and useless boons if you play it a lot. We like a challenge, but at some point it goes beyond challenging and becomes impossible. All in all, the game is a great concept ruined by bad programming. Unless you can make words out of stuff like A we we A J E Q, don't get too attached. You will eventually get so frustrated you won't want to play any more.

We never leave reviews, but this one heartily deserves it. A fantastic game that we cant believe is free. Its like Balatro but with Scrabble – perfect for a word nerd like us. We have nothing bad to say.

A lot of ability to replay and complete it, with the combined fun of scrabble.

We play this game pretty much every day.

This game is our new addiction. Much more fun and engaging than other word games Ive played.

We love word games and this one is a great ahh word game. The best part? Im not even a bot.

Blows away every game in the category. Please offer a way to make donations or pay for this.

Love rouge-like games, the combination with a word game is flawless.

Rogue lite meets scrabble. Just play it.

Love the solo play element, and its a different game every time. Competition against your own high scores is fun as well. We have enjoyed this game immensely.

This game is basically Balatro with Scrabble and thats a good thing.

Lots of challenges for replayability.

We literally never write reviews but we love this game so much. It is like a single player roguelike scrabble game. There is not a single ad in the game, its is beautifully crafted, creative daily challenges and the game isnt over saturated with bright pop ups. We love this game for in meetings and great for word-loving neurodivergents.

Frustrating that the game has the same like 4 letter combos to start the game. Would like more variety.

Top tier word game. We play every night before bed.

We have never left a review for a game before, but this one deserves it. Its free with no annoying ads which is unheard of these days. The game is fun and engrossing, yet simple to learn. You can be strategic and challenge yourself in multiple ways, or keep things more straightforward if youre just trying to unwind. Bravo.

Incredibly polished, lots of depth, and totally free.

Easy to pick up, hard to put down. Only real drawback is that its not a quick play.

Very fun. We loved balatro and we thought this game would be interesting at first glance as we also love word games like wordle. Highly recommend.

Such a great game. Ad-free Easy to pick up and challenging enough to keep it interesting. The daily challenges are great! Thanks to the thoughtful developers.

Challenging levels. Great interface. Clever idea to add potions and boons to the game play to add a modern twist to a classic.

So much fun. Extremely well made. No notes. Just get it.

Its addictive! No ads, no interruptions, and we cant put it down.

The familiar word game as a solitaire game on a smaller board with a constant supply of opportunities to boost scores and even letter values. This is what makes it resemble Balatro, a worthy new game. Rogue Words also plays similarly in another way: you get a certain number of moves and exchanges available to achieve a target score. We wish the games werent just four turns long. We find it very easy to beat. We expect that that will change as the levels climb. The powerups come in fewer varieties than in Balatro, and we find we prefer to focus on our wordplay rather than on potions, but, overall, the changes and solitaire format keep it intriguing. And not an ad in sight! Nothing new to buy.

Its scrabble but if it was a roguelike 10/10 no ads fantastic best game.

No ads, offline, always saves your place,.

These reviews arent even ai the game is just that good.

Really good stuff we cant believe its free with no ads Ive been telling everyone who has iOS to download this.

We love that there is no ads, and the game is so absolutely incredibly fun. Great mechanics, fun difficulties, and endless possibilities in your runs.

This game is awesome. There are no ads, but Id be willing to throw a few bucks in the general direction of the devs if it ever came to that. Its a great twist on that old familiar board game with letter tiles. Its a lot of fun, but it also makes you think. We truly enjoy this app.

Mix of Balatro and Scrabble. Its really fun and a well made app.

Scrabble rules, but with a Balatro roguelike gameplay. Simple design makes the interface sleek and easy to jump into. Very fun.

Love the game. Only wish there was some way of knowing the score of a word before hitting play. As with all the different boons its hard to know which words to play sometimes. As the highest scoring word might not always be the best, depending on which boons you have.

Rogue Words is a great game. It's always fun finding new tactics. However, we think there should be more things to play for, like customization, new modes, or a sandbox! The game could be heavily improved on, and if it's executed well, the game could be a lot more enjoyable! Again, amazing game, we can't believe it's free.

Thank you for this game. We cant stop playing. We hope youre working on paid expansions. Id buy them in a heartbeat.

Like scrabble mixed with balatro.

It is /so/ nice to have a game thats not constantly pushing ads and micro transactions at you it almost feels unreal But besides that it is a genuinely enjoyable and fun game and its got us hooked!! We look forward to doing the daily challenge each day :).

No adds, simple to play, hard to beat, lots of fun.

We love this game so much, we have played for hours at a time after we downloaded it. We would love to see this game a teamwork game mode that is online you could make it so the score is needed to progress is higher but you and your friends/teammate can make words too with their own separate boons and potions.

We downloaded this game randomly one night and we have played it every single day since! Ive spent hours upon hours playing. Its our favorite thing to do on our break at work and we absolutely LOVE the daily challenges! Thank you for this awesome time passer, as well as, supreme mental workout.

No ads just a fire gameplay loop and aesthetic these devs are the goats.

Best game Ive played in a while, has no adds or micro-transactions and is a very fun rogue-like concept.

This is one of the best word games Ive ever played! Scrabble meets solitaire meets Magic: the Gathering. Lots of fun.

There are enough different ways to play this game so you can make it as hard or as easy as you want – though it is by no means easy. And get this – it is totally ad free.

The daily challenges make every game different. We like having the leaderboard to see where our results rank. Its very addictive.
