The game itself if fun but we keep on getting kicked out from little things like scrolling too fast or sometimes Ill get kicked out during gameplay and it gets really frustrating when Im doing well. The game is good we just keep getting kicked out.
Many rhythm games out there, but not like this one! Really enjoying this one even if Im not very good yet! Hope to see it skyrocket in popularity :).
We bought this game and we played it on and off. Admittedly havent logged in awhile and saw we lost ALL the progress we made. Spent some money and theres no way to atleast get the songs we already had we have to buy it again. We even have proof that we bought stuff in the game. Its fun but if you only play games like this every once and a while then your wasting money. Both our emails dont work as a log in and when we put in our phone number it doesnt give us a code. Thanks for taking our money.
Got better, since the fps problem got fixed. Ill give 5 stars if LABS will be playable for free anytime outside of events.
1) Does not support 120fps on iphones with 120hz screens. 2) The songs are difficult enough only for new / mid players, but once you master the game, everything will become boring and pointless. 3) The most fun and exciting feature (Lab) is available randomly in events only, which makes NO SENSE. 4) Does not have a global ranking list. 5) The difficulty levels are mostly just lies (WHY ANGEL DUST IS A 14 ?????) 6) Older charts needs rework. 7) Gets very repetitive.
Fell in love with this game. The notes perfectly fit the song, and its just so satisfying to play. We were nervous at first because you only use your thumbs to play, and that it costs money when most games dont, but its so worth it. The simple gameplay is refreshing and fun, and the payment of only three dollars means no ads and no subscriptions! A breath of fresh air when every app ever uses subscription service. Would absolutely recommend this game.
We love that the difficulty isnt forced on you like other games. It tends to slower people like us . You will continuously find a smile on our face while playing this game.
This game is so fun if you really love rhythm base games then this is worth playing and buying the packs they have in their store. The mechanic is smooth and the music are great.
We want to enjoy but forcing gyroscope controls makes gameplay feel very janky, that and forcing you to sit through tutorials to change your motion settings and having them play in the background is extremely annoying.
Even though it has an initial pay wall to start playing. It is well worth your money and its unlike you wouldnt have spent that money for a Gacha game anyway. Story is well written and there are some banger songs! Job well done devs please keep it up.
We love this game although when going to go back and play it after about a week we were logged out and was not able to log in and we didnt think that it would have been a problem but we have bought all of the song so we were going to restore our purchases but there was no way to do that and now all of our songs are gone and we really dont feel like playing it now with all of our favorite song either locked or not purchased. Anything we can do.
It use the spin feature(rotation) as a part of the game.
Im an iOS user and the recent update has wiped all our progress in game. We hope they fix the problem soon so we can play the songs we brought and not have to pay for them again.
Its a fun rhythm game, but our progress got wiped during a recent update and you can no longer sign in with your iOS account anymore.
So we use an old phone and run into this issue very often but nothing is worst than Buying a game and finding out you cant play it because your phone is slow. Please fix this we would really like to play this.
The songs in here are so fun to listen to Putting on headphones can really make it more fun and the experience better And if your just into the song, instead of hearing the tap tap noises, you can turn it off and listen to the music. Its truly a amazing game and cant wait for more music from future updates.

Rotaeno is one of the only games Ive played which feels like it was designed for a smartphone first and foremost. The motion controls are incredibly precise, and gameplay feels superb! But the real praise to be given is that the game is monetized incredibly fairly. You pay money for songs, and theres zero gacha mechanics. You always feel like youre getting value for money entered, and the game never feels like its trying to nickel and dime you. The developers are awesome and actively put in effort to make charts that people are excited to play. We cant wait to see where they take the game next.
This game charged us $ for it bout our permission before we even used the game, we never bought anything ever because we still haven't opened the app and we go to our setting on our phone to find that the app charged us for who knows what and we dont even know how it got our information and Im beyond upset. DO NOT GET THIS GAME they get your card information somehow like it did with ours and charge you for who knows what when you havent bought a single thing in the game. Its ridiculous.
For anyone reading this, the game is good. Pick it up immediately, because this is an experience you cannot quite get through any other means and the design and care that have gone into its mechanics cannot be overstated. The monetisation is also about as far from predatory as you can get, averaging out to slightly less than 1 dollar per additional song, of which about 25 are F2P and the other 20 are purchased. @devs: Theres a bug with the latest version thats causing us to drown in traveler badges??? Every time we log in we get 8 more and they stay there. Do we get to keep these.
After 3 years of waiting we thought it was vaporware. Then it released when we wasn't looking. Very well designed rhythm game, designed around a smartphone's interface. Rotation is swift and responsive, charting is fun and challenging. Song list is a little small, but it's only a month out from launch. Overall, loving it.
Just picked up this game, and already in love with it! The gimmick of rotating your phone while you play is awesome and feels really satisfying, accompanied by the great charting as well! If you play any other mobile rhythm game, especially with thumbs, youve got to try this game out.
Everything about Rotaeno has blew us away, from the game mechanics to the story! But, there is one thing that we may be picky about. We're not sure if this is just an iPhone 13 thing, but the game audio quality, especially for songs, is noticeably worse on IOS devices than on non-IOS devices. We've noticed that non-IOS devices present crisp and clear audio, while IOS devices have this low quality and compressed feel to the game. So, if there is a way to fix this problem, hopefully it gets fixed soon, before it becomes a bigger problem in the future. The game audio is the one thing that's stopping us from calling Rotaeno "perfect.".

In an age dominated by SAMEY rhythm games with the same types of gameplay, Rotaeno brings a fresh take! Personally we see it as a mix of Lanota, Colorful Stage(or other sega mobile lane), but with the addition of the gyroscopic movement and its incredibly addicting! Im so excited for new planets to be added as we are now invested in the story and lore being built! Im so excited to see where we go from here.

This looks like a really fun game. We downloaded the game and it didnt have the no tap option in the setting and im looking for this because, we only have one hand. We saw a setting for color blind mode which is cool. One have mode could make the game easier to play, too.
We love rhythm games especially when we can play them on our phone but this takes things to a new level. Its so addicting to play and the story mode is enjoyable as well. Im really glad there isnt an energy system either bc that usage prevent us from playing alot of other games. Would recommend any fan of rhythm in general to give this a try.
Such an awesome game!! Ive been a fan of rhythm games for a while and when we saw this game on twitter, we immediately had to pre-order it. We were instantly in love with this game when we started playing it!! Its incredibly smooth with such unique gameplay thats extremely fun to play. This game is definitely worth the couple of bucks needed to buy it, and in our opinion it might be one of the best mobile rhythm games on the App Store at the moment. Love it.
We love how you have to rotate your phone to play, The note types fit well (even the flick notes) beautiful style, all neatly wrapped together into the best mobile rhythm game Ive ever played.
This game is very unique. Great to add to our collection of other 26 mobile rhythm games. Free songs to celebrate the launch and an Arcaea-like IAP system. We will definitely give you our money and wait for new packs.
Already one of the best rhythm games Ive ever played. A new concept which we didnt see before, the games has an amazing look, has a couple of difficulty levels for each song, and great progression system. The only problem on Iphone is that the home bar hides some text on the ui buttons. Other than that the game plays perfectly! Amazing game.
On the iPhone 12 mini, things on the screen get cut off so we cant tap to enter some menus. Also in the settings, theres no way to invert motion controls. The gameplay itself is fun, but sometimes it didnt turn correctly when we tilted our phone. Hopefully the game becomes more optimized soon. Right now, it feels unplayable on iPhone 12 mini at the very least. Maybe its better on other devices. The core gameplay is really cool and we cant wait to see what more they have to offer in the future :).
