A Glimpse into Rullo

Rullo is a minimalist math puzzle game where you have a board full of numbers.

The goal is to make the sum of numbers in each row and column be equal to the number in the box.

What you have to do is to remove some numbers from the equation by clicking on them.

It sounds simple but requires a lot of thinking.

The board sizes range from 5×5 to 8×8. There are also 3 levels of difficulty: 1-9, 2-4 and 1-19.

1-9 means the numbers to calculate will range from 1 to 9.

There are 2 game modes: Classic and Endless.

In Classic mode you can choose which board size and difficulty you want to play

In Endless mode you will be given a puzzle with random size and difficulty.

Your total wins in any mode is saved.

Good game to all of you and do not forget to leave us a comment in order to allow you to know your opinion.

Im so obsessed with this game!!

This is one of our favorite games to exercise our mind. We just wish there was a hint option, because we are pretty much stuck and barely play anymore because we cant progress.

What’s the point of making new play variations for a game when you can’t play them?

We love this game! We have trouble focusing sometimes, and being able to think in numbers gives our brain space to focus on whats being said. We also love the different puzzles that are generated. Our only critique is that we are absolutely stuck on a level (1363 on endless), and theres no way for us to get help or a hint or anything and Im dying here! Update: reducing our rating to three stars, due to the multitude of issues with the app lately. Multiple buttons, including the button to play the actual game, are unpressable. We are also unable to click on the Facebook option to save our progress. And of course, still no hint option. And Im still stuck.

The classic button doesnt work, other than that, we love the game.

Classic won’t open but still very fun!

We tap the ‘play classic’ button and absolutely nothing happens! All the other home page buttons work, but not that one. Deleting!

We figured out that tapping the sum squares shows the current sum as a pop-up (Try it and see). This is really handy, but after a while, it makes it too easy. (Dumb complaint, right? Just don’t tap the squares!) Still, it makes the 8×8 levels a breeze, especially with 1-19. (8×8 with 2-4 is still a nice challenge, though, even though there are usually multiple solutions and trial-and-error is needed to solve, rather than just logic.) It’s one of the first games we click on when looking for a quick distraction, and we’ve paid for ad-free on both iOS and Android, so hopefully that gives an idea how we feel about this game. Great job!

First played this game on Kongregate and was very fun. May be frustrating at times but is extremely rewarding upon level completion. Highly recommended to those looking for a math puzzle challenge.

Very addictive. Great exercise for the brain.

Cute maths/logic game that you can customize to be as easy or tricky as you like. Developers listen to feedback and fix issues promptly.

We found this game online and immediately downloaded the app– the game generates good puzzles.

Great logic puzzle, but we had to delete the app. Even though we went to the settings and muted the music and sound effects, an ad popped up during play with the sound on full blast. We can’t have that in the situations where we would use this app. Other games apps we play auto-mute the ads when we mute the sounds in the app’s settings.
