To be honest the game was great back then you had all the options you needed to play the game. After the update it killed the game and now we cant even do that much. Im really concerned. We had options of transportation (Train, car, walk, and one more), and we did not have to watch ads to just claim land. Now we cant even build a ours to gain ores and stuff to sell for coins or anything. The game had everything it needed to be successful. Now its ruined. If you see this developers, Im disappointed in you, but of course we can understand the money part. All we can say is we had a good time back then playing this game but now, its bad.
It would be a fun game but we we wanted to raid empires we would have to go into woods with snakes and other dangers so Im not gonna risk it.
We hate how when we log out and try to log in or delete account and try and create new account witht he same email we cant log in so Im just here trying to log in but we cant.
It wouldnt let us progress it says Im cheating and takes our coins idk why.
We dont want to pay 20 dollars a month.
This game was once a lot of fun, encouraging you to explore and walk/run more. Now its extremely monetized, impossible to use without subscription or watching ads. Avoid it! Not worth your time.
We been playing this game for a day an it is fun. BUT when ever we go to collect our coins it says Im in debt and adds the coins we earned. Like we had 5 then we collected 200 coins the we had 8. CHANGE IT.
Pls this is not good you hackers stop downloading it it hacks your mobile or ios whatever.
This game is absolutely amazing, from the live tracking to the mini wars that go on in your neighborhood/cities this game will satisfy a strategist and keep you on your feet. Literally and figuratively! However, there are some things that we would like to see added. For instance, the ability to do a bike ride. This is unavailable and you are limited to walking, running, or wheel chair riding!?. Also another cool thing to add would be the ability to talk to your opponents without them being in your contacts. For instance, maybe you are tired of fighting a month long war that is back and forth(its tough), and maybe you wanted to join forces and fight together. THAT would be awesome!!!! Please consider.
Theres no way to turn off public view of your run routes. We can easily see where people live and people can see where we live. We cant hide our run routes and if we delete them we lose the points. DO NOT GET THIS APP IF YOU VALUE YOUR SAFETY.
This provides us with a new way to seek motivation to engage in running and break up our day with smaller walks to get some steps in. We wish there were more features to use our coins for.
The game consistently crashes and we lose all the hexes ive acquired during that journey. How am we supposed to ever enclose a sizable loop if the game crashes before we even start making our way back.
The game was awesome until an update that erased all player progress and data. Now they are asking for a subscription and to restart. Deserves 0 stars.
We were excited to try this app again! Turned it on, set out for a multi-hour long run, got back, checked the app, which had been on in the background the whole time and found it hadnt counted a single step. Not one hexagon. Is this only supposed to work on top? Does it need us playing with it our whole run? Or just a glitch? Either way, once again disappointed by this app.
The game was good when we used to play it then our phone just shut down so everything was deleted when we came back they were asking for a subscription just to start collecting hexs pls to make the game better you need to stop begging. We know you want to make a profit but think about the players who want to use their creativity and go around collecting hexs without spending a penny its like wanting to create a new lego design but you have to pay for every brain cell you use.
We were very excited to play this game, we gave ourselves an awesome username and everything, we were very happy that it used real geography as territories. Sadly, this app is not for free, it is only free to download. Nothing in the in-app purchase section explicitly states "subscribe to unlock the full game", otherwise we probably wouldn't have downloaded this app. And $36 a year for an app?! We don't know what demographic this app appeals to, but no parent will spend this much money on the AppStore! We really wanted to play this app, please just make it a one-time purchase for like $10. We'd be so happy about that. But we know that's not good for business. Very disappointed. :(.
We cant change our starting location .
You all are right you can only play this game for seven days then you have to subscribe for get that.
People are money hungry this is a bad game would not install we would give it one star you have to pay just to play the game thats dumb.
We used to enjoy walking with our dad and playing this game, we had created a city state and was on our way to conquering all four cities in our area. Then the update came. The progress we spent Soo much time on was deleted and the game costs 35 freaking dollars to play. This is just like EA with spore.
This game was amazingly good but then they hit a major update and forced you to pay an outrageous amount of money in a subscription fee dont waste your time paying 49.99 a month.
We literally have to pay money to capture some territory.
App shows as free in the App Store yet after they take all your data they inform you its a free trial or pay up horrible business practice.
Game claims to be free. What is free is the freedom to download it and give it access to your location and all your data so they can harvest it and give nothing back. You cannot play this game without paying a monthly subscription. But you wont find that out till you've agreed to give them all your info so they can sell that too.
Its advertised as free to play and a way to get exercise but you cant even do anything without paying a subscription in-game.
In beginning there was not many pay options just a subscription for perks until recently we lost all our progress and the entire game was subscription based.
You cant progress past creating your account. Once you make a account, they throw a subscription option. Was hyped to play this too :/.
We literally have to pay in order to play this game? We are not mad we are just surprised. Like what made you think that was a good idea. You could have made some items that neede you to pay, but to pay in order to pay. That is just a sad.
We had high hopes for this game but we got blocked by a paywall its kinda terrible but other than that its okay we guess.
This game use to be great it was free and was fun there was optional subscription services, suddenly they wipe all accounts and make the game 3 dollars a month and still advertise that its free to play we will not play this game again until it is free again.
We were a dedicated runner. We had empires in cities across the country, for years. All of a sudden they erased EVERYONES accounts. The new update not only makes the game ten times worse, but now its not free despite advertising it is. This is NOT free anymore. They had in game subscriptions before, so they did not need to make this update. They did it because theyre a greedy money hogging company. Theyre acting like they HAD to do it. They had a dedicated fan base and they just decided to throw it all out the window. We recommended this to our boyfriend but now we have to tell him not to touch this app with a ten foot pole. You cant just ERASE everyones data and expect people not to be mad. They erased it so we would all have to pay for this shady app. God, we cant even tell you how upset we are. Only giving this one star because we couldnt give zero. Play something better like zombies run or something :((((.
This is a great game and it looks really fun. The only trouble we have with it is that in our location all of the hexagons are similar colors so its hard to see the exact land you have. Otherwise its pretty good.
It would be cool if the tiles could be built up more.
We were walking around in a city and had forgotten to turn off the app so when we got back and checked it we had been doing it for 13 hours, it took less time but more time shouldnt matter right? Wrong. It counted that as cheating. Id captured multiple hexes and it didnt count because we were there for too long.
You know when a game says its free but then it makes you pay in order to play well thats this game you get 7 days free but then you have to pay $35 a year.
We have attempted to reset our password several times with no luck. We have reached out to support a couple of times with no response. Id love to keep playing this game, but if we cannot login, it makes it impossible Update: its now been 3 more days with no app support Update: 3 days with still no response.
The game costs 2.99 to play for seven days so your paying every week the games boring and you have to pay for stuff in game.
You can download the app but once you open it you have to sign up for a subscription in order to play.
Please add a version for bikers.
When we got on the game we passed these stuff then we wanted to raid but its not working so please fix this.
Best game Ive ever played. It has really gotten us outside more than we used to be.
We like the game since we had it 2020 but it looks like it's downgraded since then.
You could run for some energy in this game You could raid for some energy Soooooooooooooo Goooood.
We think this is really good at telling when youre cheating.
We honestly like this game a ton but we are not really here to tell you why we like the game, there is a bug that needs spoken on. We had 7000 coins saved up from doing a few runs across town, and we decided to spend those coins to buy a city expansion (costs 1400 coins), the game lagged a little bit and it gave us 1 xp after we bought it and it didnt show us buying it, so we clicked on the icon again and clicked spent and we did that a few more times because it was not working and we thought it was not picking that up well what you know we get the territory added but we have zero coins on 1400 coin purchase we dont really know what to do about this, Ill probably have to stoop down and rebuild by coins, but its still a bug in the long run and we would love for it to be fixed so that such does not happen to other players.
This game is sooo entertaining and not pay to win and it even encourages you to walk.
See if we were not in a dangerous neighborhood we would own the entire world lol. But since we live in a dangerous neighborhood we should have to option to get any piece of land once every 1-3 weeks so what Im saying is for example in 1 week we get an option to take one piece of free land cause we cant walk in our dangerous neighborhood. Now we dont wanna delete the game because we have hope the game creator sees this review. Or just make it 1 month instead of weeks. Thats why we gave 4 stars. We will give five if change happens or something like that happens.
We got this game very recently, and we LOVE IT. Its giving us a reason to go outside even in the brutal heat to claim tiles. And we like that population gives you even more benefits during raids so it isnt just for the city part of the game. But we do have issues with the pro subscription stuff. Im not really someone to buy things for mobile games, so we think its really intrusive and heres why. Some of the city tiles get people who give you quests or give you actual resources, but you cant access the tile until they leave. However, some of the people require the pro subscription to even get rid of them. Which is so annoying. We wish we didnt need a subscription in order to get rid of them. Thats all we really ask for. Otherwise, the subscription is fair.
Love the game but its nothing like the pictures And plus we want to change our color.
We started replaying this game and its fun. But we noticed it is not what it used to be. Building our specialized buildings on the map now its a city? We cant even relocate the city since we moved to a different state. We do enjoy the regional districts making it a battle for the neighbor/town against other players but we just conquered our second neighborhood and we cant even see the rankings in it or the borders. We need to subscribe to control more than one district which is ridiculous. This game isnt subscription worthy. We understand we all got to make money but the limitations is what ruins this application for us. Ill still use it for runs but now the motivation to take new districts isnt there. This game hasnt been updated since 2023 according to the App Store so is this game and review just dead air? We hope a new update comes out. There is great potential for this game. Review from 2020 5/5 This game is fun. We love the idea of taking over a map and by implementing physical activity it really made the game enjoyable.
