We dont know why this is 4 stars its amazing.
At the beginning we thought it was gonna be pretty generic game, but wow it really surprised us! It plays very well on iPhone.
We just beat the game and its so fun! Through gameplay and all. Throughout the gameplay it reminded us so much of the Adult Swim channel with Samurai Jack and its just so nostalgic! Good job on making this game and definitely worth the money! We recommend playing this game!
So remember when Jack went to Africa? Can you add 2 weapons from that episode? The staff that has the strong wood and the spinning saw thing that the invaders used. Can you also make it so you can play as kid Jack in these ideas for levels: Egypt, Africa, and the kingdom Jack grew up in. These can be open world like Genshin Impact where you can explore and fight enemies and even make friends and allies. We hope you hear this out and add this, it would hit us with nostalgia. Though we were born before season 5 started and after season 4 ended, we would still think this would be a great idea. Ps: we would show gratitude for a joke about a skin of the professor from powerpuff girls on Jack for endless mode. We beg you guys. Please and thank you.
Listen, we just want to say, this game slays, lot of great mechanics, graphics are superb for a mobile device, story brings us back to the 90s #est99. Im addicted to this game.
Adult swim made this?! HOW?! Besides the guns its 12+ so kid ish friendly and uh usually thats not the case so like Im absolutely flabbergasted so yeah good game tho.
Must play game in our opinion. It feels like a full and well thought out game. We really enjoyed the story and the challenges throughout the game. Must play for anyone looking to fulfill a console level game on mobile/iPad. Graphics were incredible and gameplay was incredibly fun. A+ for the developers.
Its a fun game but why does Aku do this Hes such a big fat sourcer at the end where you Fight Aku its not fair Aku has stronger attacks.
Excellent everything. Our concerns are that it is battery hungry and that the aspect ratio for the game and cutscenes are inconsistent. Every time we play nine of aku it crashes.
There seems to be a glitch in the game where one area wont let us rotate our camera in order to get one of the collectibles, and it also says that we dont have as many as we actually do. There are 50 of the Corrupted Emperors Kamen medals and we collected all but one (the one that we need to rotate our camera but it cant), but its telling us Im still missing two. But when we go back to these levels to find which ones can are missing, but all are accounted for.
Can this pleased be released for ARM or just let us play the iPad version on Mac. Our 2017 iPad plays this better than our M1 Max because it’s running on Intel and was a poor Mac port to begin with. It really deserves some love!
So we really like the game but even in easy mode story mode it is hard we mean we have collected and used every weapon in the game against aku but we still have never killed him and united jack and ashi It also feels like aku is impossible to beat without a gift if the gods or like 1000 haggises we bet it is basically impossible for the people in master mode but the game is still fun until you reach aku but they should really make the game more accessible too because you cant do like any other modes without completing story mode and as we said it is kind of impossible to beat story mode because of aku and as we said you would need a weapon with inf damage of like 1000 haggis’s.
When we try to do a single high jump: tap hold the jump button, upon release jack will do the double jump disallowing us to use the full jump height at all. We can just tap the jump button the on the double jump Ill hold the tap but it only gets us as high as the initial attempt. Otherwise we love this game.
Dont even try this game without a controller. Its very similar to Laura croft and you have to do a lot of jumping, which is impossible using touchscreen.
The game is very good and fun but the animations in the game start to get quite slow as we play on our MacBook M1 and that’s sad.
The movement controls on the iPad gets sticky at times. Especially if the iPad glass has a lot of fingerprint deposits.
An M2 chip cant handle graphics better than this?
Dont want to start over after playing for a few hours. We played yesterday for a few hours and then closed the game out. Thinking we would be brought to our last checkpoint we loaded it up just a few minutes ago and it said game didnt save. Hopefully this gets fixed because its infuriating.
Not optimized, below 30 fps pretty consistently, low doesnt offer much in terms of FPS gains. Probably wont be updated to fix this. Dead in the water.
When we play the game and once we hit the pause button, the game freezes up. We can no longer play the game. Im playing the game on an Apple TV. We love this til it freezes. Can you fix it please.
The last update completely deleted all of our gameplay data after putting MANY hours into this game, not sure we have the energyor timeto start from the beginning again.
Its a great game but the save option doesnt work so we always have to restart from the beginning which gets really annoying.
We have attempted on numerous occasions to play this game and we get super far into it and it does not save. It just says save failed and we end having to repeat levels we made it past. Really annoying since we enjoy playing this. Any fixes to this yet? Maybe a manual save feature in the works?
Which weapon is best used against Aku in the final battle and he should not have fire shot attacks because when he fires them we cant get near him sorry to this to our previous rating but you forced our hand with that battle.

Love how the different weapons work and the differences in enemy types. Wanted a good action game and this gave it to us.

This game was awesome. We were a fan of the cartoon but we never got to see if jack actually ever beat Aku. We finally got to see how it ends. We give this game 5 stars based off the fact you can actually progress through and beat the game without spending actual money.
We love the game we would like to see the creators make like their own comic book of the game it will be pretty neat.
90% of this game runs extremely well, but given we have an M1 iPad Pro and this game cant hold 60 fps in all scenarios is troubling. Especially when this iPad is equipped such a powerful chip, there should be no way this game cant hold 60 fps all the time, some fight scenes or world effects drop the framerate and while it doesnt make it unplayable, it really is bothersome. Idk if its a game development issue or the fact that Apple limits the raw power of the iPad. It needs an optimization update for these Pro iPads. Nonetheless, this game is very enjoyable and highly recommend the game. Just wish Apple cared more about gaming in general.
Its a good game. We’ve played several hours including lots of grinding. There are some glitches and crashes, but nothing too terrible. Our main annoyance is two challenges dont work. Dogs Best Friend shows 11 / 12 and Bad and Badder shows 17 / 19 even though we’ve found 12 and 19 respectively.

This is one of the very few games on this scam subscription service that almost makes you feel like money well spent. It plays amazingly close to the PS4 version on anything with the A13 or newer, with a controller. The on-screen buttons are a bit too busy and hard to get right when in the heat of the action. Overall though, if you grew up watching Samurai Jack as we did this game and its story will definitely give you that nostalgia feeling. The moments when youre about done and seeing Jacks hair down, you know stuff is about to get real. Aside from the busy on-screen controls there do seem to be a few bugs that randomly pop up and we understand theres several chips and resolutions to support as well as iOS versions but it does feel like a lack of overall polish the console versions enjoy. It also is quick to cause your phone/tablet/laptop to get real warm real quick. really wish Apple engineers would follow other manufacturers with heat dissipation techniques if they intend for users to game using these mobile deviceshint Apple. Hint
The game itself is awesome. Really fun and good fighting mechanics. The only thing that’s been making us not play this, is the fact that no matter what we do the game doesn’t not save our progress. It keeps saying save failed. As soon as we leave the game and put it back on everything we did is gone and needs to be redone. Could this be looked into please?

The game stutters in certain combat scenarios, which is obviously unnatural. Ours is an iphone13 Max.

We keep on starting from the beginning, how to save?
Worsk great on ipad and is extremely fun, but ther is no way that the performance on M1 macs is acceptable. Can barely hit 30 fps even on M1 pro.
IT WONT SAVE MY PROGESS AND we KEEP HAVING TO START OVER.
The game saves our progress, but it does not load it into our progress nor shows up in the startup of the app to give us an option to continue or start a new game. If we happen to die with playing as Jack, we noticed the game will blank out of the app and go to our Home Screen making us restart the app.
This game seems like it should be pretty decent, however on our fully spec’d M1 Mac Mini it is basically unplayable due to the terrible fraterate. It feels like we’re getting 5-10 frames per second most of the time. We tried turning down the resolution and adjusting the framerate but it didn’t seem to help at all. Too bad, we kinda want to play it, but in this current form it is more or less unplayable on this device.
Playing this on the iPhone14 is just straight up eye torture for us. The screen is so small with borders around it for seemingly no reason. Please fix this bc we do like the game lol.
Never saves your place in game.
Game is not optimized for ARM on mac even though there are iphone/iPad versions of the game. The M1 version of the code should be a breeze to create, but they haven’t done it. This game has a very bad memory bleed issue. It starts playing phenomenal. We can put the graphics at the highest level and they run butter smooth, but 5 minutes later as you progress through the game and it starts to load the next section, it doesn’t free up the memory it doesn’t need anymore. Eventually as the memory fills up the game slows down to the point that regardless of graphics settings the frame rate is now 1FPS. Fix this. We don’t want to play this game on our tiny phone. We want to play it on our computer.
The game crashed and completely erased the entire save file. We were almost finished with the game. Not going to restart it all over again.
We don’t know what’s going on, but we have a brand new M1 Ultra MacBook Pro and with all of this power we’re somehow only getting what feels like 10fps. We tried on the lowest graphics settings possible, but it didn’t make a differnce. Couldn’t play it for long and its sad because it seems like a really cool game.
