The objective of the game is to destroy the opposing player's fleet. You can play against the computer, with someone else on the same device or online with game center.

The "Training" mode allows you to play against the computer by choosing the fleet that you want.
The "1 Player" mode allows you to play against the computer.
The difficulty increase progressively with missions.
The rank which has been reached is preserved.
The "2 Players" mode allows you to play with someone on the same device.
The "Online" mode allows you to play with an other player connected on Game Center.
3 points is awarded to the winner.

Reminds us of playing the actual game when we were a kid. But this version has more options for more ships and more players.
What better flip-top setting would you want to have an original conversation regarding strategy, diverse topics, amongst honorable questions regarding the last whereabouts from social escapes. Would love to be at the helm, but a deck of cards wont match the sandwich & fridge for the time out. (megaphone) Tow us in to dock.
Oh our god ok? Because we remember playing this game with our dad when we were 10! And right now Im 16 so we thought this game didnt exist, tho we love the game.
We really like this game but it has too many ships.
We love this game its really fun it makes you think and use your mind because theres a lot of strategy involved. Its very strategic if you like games that make you think this is one we would recommend.
Lots of fun strategy helps computer player is unpredictable keeping gameplay interesting.
We like the game we just with we could play with other people.
Its a lot of fun. And we did pay the $1.99 to remove the ads. We do find it very similar to the old Electronic Battleship game.

Nice if you just want to play the CPU. Online matching never works. Gets boring fairly quick. But an okay, free game if youre sitting in a waiting room somewhere, or whatever. Not too many ads, which is always a plus.
We gave it three stars because thats what he gets and he takes up to 14 levels.
This is a basic battle ship game. Others apps many have other games or different size boards to pick from. Graphics and sound are ok. We cant compare against others apps as this is the only one we have downloaded and tried. We like the training feature where you can hone your playing strategies as well as pick how many ships each player will have. Nice you can play against the computer and each level gets more difficult. You can also play online against others over the internet or against friends you can invite. One downside to the app is that it appears there is not many people online to plays against. Most people we have come across online have quit the game shorty after starting. A lot of ads as well, but you have to expect that with a free app.
Its really fun when its working right. But very difficult to play another opponent because it constantly drops one or the other player. We have yet to finish a single game with an online opponent, because it always crashes. We have finished all 14 of the single levels, so theres nothing else to do now.
Broooo this game is a joke lol. We enjoy it dont get us wrong but this game is rigged hahahah. Im not a sore loser. In fact when we lose, we dont mind as it helps us see where we can do better on/ in something. But our goodness. We been on the same level for some time now. And Ill be honest we have lost. But we started to suspect that there was rigging in the game when we would get to the last two ships and suddenly the last ship was found. But nevertheless we continued playing. And then this last round, lol we got all but one ship. 3 of our ships were not found yet. With our last shot being all we needed to win, shockingly (yet not really) lol all three ships of ours were found back to back. With no hesitation at all. How convenient All it did was show us that we were in fact correct. Do better.
After the 10th level we were tired of of adds so we purchased the app. Theres only 14 levels. Had we known this we would have saved $1.99.
We love the game, loaded it on all our Apple devices. Great battleship game we have ever scene. Thank you.
Ive had this app for a week and loved it. But all of a sudden the ads are all about a game where men are assaulting women. A fine addition for a game meant for people as young as 4. Aside from being demeaning toward women, it serves as a trigger for women who have experienced violence in the real world.
We hate games that make you watch an ad FIRST. No thanks. Way too many free battleship games in the sea to deal with this.
Need something missiles, planes something.
It is very annoying to start another game. We most likely will delete this game.
Like the game hate that every time we want to play, as soon as we sign in its starts with a commercial! Every time! We have enough commercials to deal with! We dont need one first thing off the bat! Deleting this game. We try and try to get out come back in and its always a commercial before we can even start the game, not that great of a game.
Liked it would not let in mission 6 so we deleted the app.
Enjoy it. Oddly we find ourselves anxiously holding our breath as the opponent chooses a Target and fires. Lol. Just old school fun.
We cant play with other people around the world and In 2 players you will know which one it is a miss or a hit.
Its fun, we just wish there was more to the game.
Stuck on level 14 months. Why.
Fun game with our son however, ads will prompt when the game is almost won and force one party to abandon the game. Why not just pause and say the other player is paused? Why do you have to force abandon game on unsuspecting people all the time.
We were sitting next to each other and it still cannot get it to connect. Single player against the computer was fun.
Makes it difficult to play with your friends. Constantly times out in the middle of the game if you take too long! Its annoying.
It really is great other than it often crashes when trying to start and sometimes in the middle of a game… This is incredibly annoying but other than this, it's awesome. However this is a big problem.

The game constantly freezes. Never can finish a game and most of the time it wont even let you start again.

Brings back a lot of great memories! When we were growing up our parents had game night every week and we played Battleship hundreds of times! Now we play the game with our son! Love the game then and still love it.
Very good graphics but limited number of one-player options.
We swear we had changed a setting where you can fire five shots in a row and then your opponent got five shots in a row now we cant figure out how to get that back on did they remove it from the game?we made the game so much better when you could fire six shots at once.
Theres an option to play against people online but unless you have friends through Game Center it does not let you play against anyone but cpu.
We were just winning a battle against the computer and when we tapped the third time on a ship it blew up the second spot we hit again instead of the third and froze on us.
We dont really care for the rules of the game. Ive never had a rule where you keep getting tunes if you keep hitting. We like the game dragged out so it last longer than 5 minutes lol. Other than that we love the graphics.
This game is fun when it lets you finish the game. Its always freezing. It tells us it's our partners turn and tells our partner its our turn. Very frustrating.
It will consistently let you play an online match with an invited friend and halfway through: surprise!, connection lost. Kudos to the developers on poor app upkeep. If this developer releases anything new, be sure to have the app immediately close upon opening it so you can outdo this game. Oh, and make your next release about 3GB. Just to tee off users when they download it and then it wont work properly. And maybe charge 3 or 4 bucks for it. That only seems fair to your customers. Why not? This app is crap so why not make one even worse for a fee? Good luck on any future releases, you inept fools.
Horrible. Freezes up mid game online.
Bot hit our ship every turn so its bad.
We had to sit through five or six ads before we could even find one that was closable, then try to find and click settings to restore purchases before another ad got in the way. Irritating.
