We really enjoy this series. We have purchased most of them, and we thought we had purchased this one, too. Must have been too expensive! LOL. It was on sale with the Daily Deal, and we were going to buy it. But we kept getting a PURCHASED FAILED message. We tried again the next day with the same message! This game has it all, a good map and hint system, teleporting, etc. The HO scenes are good. The graphics are well done. Guess we have to wait for the NEXT sale. We're disappointed App Store. You messed up.
We played through this game fine the first time, all the way up to the "pay to continue" part. Hush. We will, eventually. Anyways, we restart and play through up until, as the other review mentions, we get to the part where we need to lift the gate to save Neil, with the berries we need resting conveniently on the lever nearby. We tap, and tap, but nothing, zilch, nada. We restart again, thinking it's a glitch, and get to the same part. We tap "Hint" and it indicates the berries on the lever. We tap. And tap again. And again. We tap "Hint" again and now he says, in essence, "there is nothing we can do here". No tasks are indicated on the map, and he reports nothing to do, or to continue his investigation elsewhere no matter where we go. We cannot continue. (Also, after the first playthrough, none of the cutscenes appear. Is that related?).
We really like this game until we went to rescue the cousin and we needed the berries on the lever and it won't let us get them so we can't go any further. Please fix.
Couldnt go further because of a glitch. Would not let us collect an item we needed. Glad it was the trial version and not something we paid for.
Glitches a lot. Not worth the money.
We have down loaded this game several times. We can play the free demo section but when we want to buy it we cant says purchase failed. This happens every time. Please fix this.
Hahaha! Unbelievable. Like others have stated, you can not unlock the game by actually purchasing it. You get an error message that states Purchase Failed. Well we would say the developers of this app FAILED by not allowing people to hand over their money. Uninstalling.
Would give more stars if we could play the entire game but cant because purchase failed. All good we guess as we have been spending too much on BFG anyway.
