She and The Light Bearer Reviews

We love the storyline of this game. The characters are cute and all have their own personalities. The puzzles are hard but not to hard however when we were solving one of the trials with the reed it took us 6 days to answer because there where 2 answers their instead of three, After a few months the answer was there so if this is a problem please try to solve it. Also we would like a second part to this game. Otherwise amazing game.

Beautiful graphics, beautiful story, beautifully told.

This is a short, narrative adventure. Easy puzzles, and it guides you through most of them. This is a great little game for young kids – probably about 8-13 years old especially, but it is a nice escape for people of any age. Since it really is narrative-based, please take your time on the story and conversations. Its not highly challenging. But it is worth 5 stars if you love good stories that keep you involved. The puzzles might be a bit harder for kids, so keep that in mind. There is a small amount of backtracking, but overall a bittersweet tale with room to expand if the developers so choose.

We loved this game! It’s so beautiful in every way! We haven’t experienced any crashing or delay issues (iPhone 8). We recommend it!

This is a well crafted and artistically executed game. You can play this game without WiFi. This is a good example of a exploration puzzle game. The puzzles are not that hard to solve, but theyre not simple. We were able to solve all the puzzles without a walkthrough. This is one of those games that youve played once, but you will probably have a feeling nostalgia to play it again. We highly recommend it!

It is rare to find a game such as this one. The story is beautiful and so well thought out, the art is magical, the characters are endearing. This game was not made without careful thought and a great deal of love. We loved this game, and we truly wish there were more like it.

We would love to see a part two. Maybe about the old trees past or something.

This was an amazing journey to go on. We cried the entire time. It has difficult puzzles, but they are not too difficult to the point you give up. Eventually you will be able to solve them with a little persistence. The story is amazing and the art style is beautiful. For the full experience, sound should be on. The only bad thing we have to say about this game is that it was too short. We beat it after about 2 hours of nonstop play and we wish there was more. We hope there will be a sequel! Thank you for this.

This adventure is a little short (I finished it in around 4 hours), but it is thoroughly enjoyable throughout. There arent many different locations, but each one is packed with character and style. The ending is a little bittersweet, and we wish this app had the achievements other versions had, but other than that, we can find no fault with this. Please give us a sequel soon!

Rarely do we feel compelled to write a review for a game.. At first we thought this game would be corny because of the way it starts out but we are so glad we gave it a chance! This game has such a deep meaning, surprisingly so, with the way most games are being created these days. No ads either! We are really impressed and at the age of 42, we are not impressed by much in terms of games. Greeeaat job on this one.

Mostly we dont think games are sad and happy but this game touched our heart we never seen any game like it! It made us so confused but we managed to beat it! It was so sad when she met mother! But our heart was smiling inside and outside we hope firefly and her siblings find the way back home! We hope denvovers dont come back that wont be good. We hope you continue the game when she finds her way home!

Im just in awe of the animation and story. You can tell theres so much love and care that went into this!

All the characters were adorable! We really hope there to be a second part.

Over all the game was beautiful with some touching life lessons in it but it look us only a few hours to finish the game, we could honestly say we were disappointed that there was no journey to find the father after the grandmother finishes her story we were waiting for more adventures and puzzles but was sad when it doesnt even let you go back through the game to admire the forest reborn again, and talk with orchid, mushroom, and the other characters. Ill be waiting for more updates and hopefully the story doesnt just end like it did.

We totally recommend playing the game waiting for part 2 Or update!!! The graphics have to be The best part Play it for yourself!

Read along to our son as we played, great bonding story adventure.

Thank you for this creation. Breath-takingly beautiful, it is filled with love and wise lessons.

The graphics were beautiful, the sound was amazing, and the puzzles were easy enough to solve but hard enough to take time! Our only complaint is that the transition screen between scenes seemed a little long.

This game is so fun, it makes you think, it has a good storyline, amazing art, and just yknow, 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Absolutely captivating art style and lovely storytelling. An uplifting and truly inspiring game all around! Although it doesnt take very long to finish the lessons and morals this game teaches should last a lifetime. Take a deep breath and walk through the forest, you never know what is awaiting you…

Good game, but we’re not very good at English. But still deserve 5 stars hope to have more languages later. Thank you!!

BOY WE NEED A PART 2 OF THIS GAAAAME.

This is an amazing. Its an adorable story about a firefly on a journey to find Mother Earth to help restore the forest back to health. The artwork is amazing! The puzzles are not difficult. We very much enjoy choosing responses from a selection. The only that bugged us was how slow it took to go from area to area but small minor detail. We feel like the devours are analogous to humans and how theyve forgotten how to take care of the earth and now its ruins. But thats just our opinion. An amazing short story puzzles game that Id recommend if you have an hour or two to kill. We love games like this and we wish there were more out there.

We got this as a free for a limited time app, and we could tell you what a gorgeous story and art style this game has, but it wont hold a candle to the experience of playing it yourself! We dont think we wouldve gotten this game if it wasnt free, but Im glad we tried it out, nonetheless!

We enjoyed this game greatly and we were really surprised by the story line and the surprise at the end, we wont say anything about it though for spoilers. The characters were unique and the art style was great, that is was initially drew us to the game. We also liked the puzzles they were simple but made you think. We did have one problem though, the exiting and entering animations were the firefly moves between rooms or areas of the game. We understand that this little detail is supposed add to the experience of the game play and we did like it at first but after a while it just became annoying. As we were trying to finish the puzzles moving through the rooms became tedious because of how many times we had to wait for the animation to be over. We suggest maybe cutting down on how many times you use that animation as a transition between rooms and maybe finding a new way for the firefly to move.

We loved this, its artistically gorgeous. We just wish the gameplay was a little more complex and a little longer.

This a very beautiful game , the adventure is great , but one thought: they talk alottt ! Just gets tiring after a while … You just want to play the game , use stuff on stuff but they are talking …

That would be lovely also love your animation and would love more ways to interact with your world.

Finished it in 2 days. Game and music was nice but, too easy. Wish it was longer.

Really really beautiful illustration and music, a fun little point and click puzzle that shows you where to click. Not sure why you need 9 save slots for a game that only lasts about 2 hours max. We probably would have been a little disappointed that we finished it so quickly if we had paid for it, but we did find it enjoyable.

10/10 would recommend to anyone and we are going to play again! We enjoyed the game play and dialogue very much! Such a cute game and so many adorable characters! We do however want to say we’ve had this game for three days and it took us about 18 hours to complete the game itself we basically watched all the characters die and was disappointed there wasnt a chance to explore the forest we saved after going threw riddles and puzzles,i would love to see a part 2 or even a similar new game!!

It wont play at alllll at our ipad.

We dont think we can access all the levels :( after we solve the puzzles and find the Mother it says we’ve opened up a new task. When we click on the 2 rectangle. It just brings us back to the end of the Mother section with Fire fly waking up. Then we have to go through the ending with the end credits again. It pans down to grandma, she tells the kids there are more stories and then it goes black and back to the home screen. :( bummed this seemed like a fun puzzle.

We dont experience the crash issues angelwhisper121 is having.

Whenever we try to travel between screens the game crashes please fix soon.

We really enjoyed this game and finished it all in one evening. The story was captivating, and the game was fun and intuitive. We would not call the music folk however, nor would we say it has a lot of poetry. It has a very anime vibe to it. Worth the price for a few hours of enjoyment in our opinion.

After accepting the fact that there are long dialog boxes, we were progressing well and enjoying the gameplay and graphics. Then we arrived at an over-watered tree with a bunch of light bulbs hanging off it. After solving what seemed like a cute musical puzzle, Im left with this big tree and a tiny tree house (with a single light bulb), but cant seem to figure out the next step in the game??? Wondering if this is where it all suddenly ends or if there is a way out of this tree???

We just lost hours upon hours (several days!) of work on our game! Somehow it deleted our file and restarted an entire new game! We keep looking for a way to contact the developer to see if theres anyway to retrieve our game we have lost, however, we cant seem to find s content link if any kind! So if you are the developer and you read this please get back to us ASAP. We are very ticked off! (Otherwise, we love the game)

We’ve amended our review because we managed to get unstuck in each case where the controls were cut off the screen, but only by looking at walkthroughs and other pictures to see where the controls should have been and trying to tap as close as possible on our screen which kind of spoils the fun (if that makes sense?). If you really want to play, though, just buy this game on a different platform. Its available on a lot of different devices, and the switch screenshots we’ve seen seem to load completely and correctly so we would go with that if we hadnt already wasted our money here. One instance is pretty early on, by the way, which is when we wrote the original review. At that point we thought we would never be able to finish the game. As it turns out, if you also have this problem, the good news is if youre patient, by tapping carefully along the bottom edge of your screen you can still sort of hit the missing arrows/controls when you need to. The worst one is trying to get from the orchids back to the area you start in (which you have to do more than once!!!). So after struggling for a while and eventually kind of spoiling the game to try and make it work, we did manage to get through. It was very cute and sweet, and had it worked correctly we would have given this game 5 stars. That said, if you have iPhone XS, we dont think the hassle is worth it. The frustration kind of kills the sweet style and most of the fun. If you want to play anyway, and you dont want to buy it elsewhere, be prepared to struggle early on, and to blindly tap around the edges of the screen to find the missing/cut off controls. Original review below: The game is really cute, and we loved what we could play. That said, Im stuck and not because we dont know what to do. We know exactly what we need to do/where we need to go, but the arrow we need to get there is cut off from the screen. The display does not show correctly. Unfortunately the game is literally unplayable on our phone. It just doesnt fit the iPhone XS screen, and vital parts/controls along the bottom are cut off from view/inaccessible. We dont only blame the developer for this one (although what the heck, how do you not check basic playability???), we also blame Apple, who advertised this game as a recommendation without bothering to check the game theyre selling actually works in the devices they claim. This game claims to be compatible with our device when it is not, how did that escape both the developers and Apples notice? Annoying. Am we crazy to expect a game Apple even explicitly recommends on its App Store would work with the devices it claims to be compatible with??? Or that a game developer would bother to make sure the game actually works on the devices its sold on? Like if this is an iPad only game, or if it only works with the screen resolutions on the iPhone 7 or 8 or whatever thats ok! But it should be advertised as such! Thats literally why you can check if apps are compatible with your device, because not all apps run well on different sized screens, or with different OSs, etc. Im really bummed we wasted our money buying this on our phone when we could have had it without problems on our Switch. We wanted to play, we had no warning it wouldnt display correctly on our phone, and frankly Im not going to buy it twice. Game is cute, too. Just wish it actually, you know, worked.

We started this game on an iPad Pro 9.7. We were working on the 3 trials and had found the king potato. However we just upgraded to an iPad Pro 11" and am continuing the game, but now the area where king potato was is off the edge of the screen. We’re stuck. We see that another reviewer had a similar problem except with an iPhone XS. We hope an update comes soon to address this. We were enjoying the game, so we’ll increase our rating if this issue is fixed.

It keeps crashing over and over no matter what we try. We cant finish or even really start the game.
