We have been playing this for years. When we tried to review it it cut us off after a few stars. We hope it did not post a low review but if we are paranoid we we would say it is trying to drive you to newer iterations that are more lucrative. If you just want to play solitaire without interruption this is it.
Simple. No ads. Every other solitaire game has crappy ads. Many will interrupt the game just to sell you crap, or offer you upgrades not this game. Play until your eyes are blurry, no ads, no bothersome interruptions. Just a solid game. Bravo.

This is one of our favorite games. We have it on our iPhone & iPad and we are completely addicted. We tell ourselves that we are going to play just one game but typically that one game turns into at least 10.
NEEDS a way to remove the ads. We'd pay more than $.99. Also an option to make the cards bigger would help. Otherwise, we love the look of the game and this would be our go-to solitaire app if you can remove the banner ads on top, it kills the whole vibe especially how most of them are co stanly flickering.

We can be okaying this game and the next move, the cards freeze. How do we fix this.
As others have said, game apps come and go, but this one is still our go-to when we have idle time but want to stimulate our brain too!! We love the clean simplicity of the app. No bells and whistles – just the great game. Open app – and play! Easy! Only reason for not getting 5 Stars, is because if Im listening to our iTunes music (on earbuds) when we open Simply Solitaire, the game app kills our iTunes, even if we mute the Solitaire sound in the app!! Very annoying when on a 3 hour flight and we just wanna listen to some good music WHILE playing Solitaire!!! Please fix that, and Ill revise to 5 stars.
Liked the older version better. You could replay a game several times without being penalized.
Good game, but needs a verification question asking the user if they really want to play a new game. All too often, we've hit that button unintentionally and have lost a game in progress.
We liked the old game better than this new version. This new game is very boring.

If you're looking for a simple solitaire game, this is it.
This is one we keep coming back to when we want both to relax and to challenge our mind a bit. The only thing we'd add is the option to tap cards into place. We're old! Arthritic hands slow us down, yet we return to "Simply Solitaire" over & over again. We bet you will too, if you've read this far. :) INSTALL & PLAY IT NOW.
Can play for hours and not get bored.
Card flipping sound effects are totally annoying. Don't see a means of killing them short of muting our phone which we don't want to do. Between the noise and the ads, our fun is greatly reduced.
This app was one of our favorite Solitaire apps but now it crashes from time to time. It has this weird glitch where we bleed points for no reason, it's usually two points at a time and we're not hitting the undo button. If you accidentally tap on an ad banner it doesn't pause the game. Please fix this app, bring it back to when it was actually good.
On our new iPad, game is choppy and images are crude compared to our older iPad. Dont like it.
On our old iPad, this was slick and reliable. On new one, the cards look hand drawn and operation is much slower. Lost its slick feel.
Great game and nice layout. Wish it were easy to contact you. Our game started doing "auto plays" the other and it got itself stuck. Had to abort current game. Have decided to delete this app. We cannot win a game. Maybe 2 out of ten. (Yes, we play well ). This is not fun.
This used to be the very best solitaire app – discrete ads, fast, with a clean design. Now it's painfully slow, and the whole layout and card design is crude and ugly. Why the steps backwards? We'll be looking for another app.
Why go to all the effort of putting together a visually striking game and then pollute it with horribly positioned ads that cannot be removed? We don't get it.
What have you done?! The deck is smaller and the card faces are now so cutesy they are harder to see and use. We got this game over others because it was clean and readable. We also find the game now often crashes as the ads sweep or change. What you had before was good. This is not. Very disappointed.
Cannot play this after updating our IPad. Game goes wonky and loses the ability to move cards.. Has not been updated in five years.
The stats here are very wrong!! We like to keep track of our wins and losses. Fine! But this game counts it a loss whenever you reject a deal and ask for another hand!! (we.e., without turning over a single card) Perhaps that makes some sense if you want to play all hands you are dealt but, as we do not, we will be finding another version of on-line solitaire that lets us track our stats better. Thanks.
We used to love this game. Played it for hours and it was very calming. But now they put intrusive advertising at the top of the screen to make it the most demanding of your attention. So we switched.
Program crashes upon opening unusable.
Used to work perfectly, now it is super slow. Good thing there are lots of other apps to choose from. Very disappointed.

Y'all ruined it by upgrading it. We used to play it all the time. Now it won't even start. It keeps crashing at start up. Bring back the old version or give us the option to get it.
This used to be our all time favorite game, then it automatically upgraded. It ruined the graphics and the game level. It now looks like and plays like a pre school level game. Since there is no "0" star level, we have to give it a "1".
We are so mad about this upgrade. We use to play this all the time but after upgrade, it crashes just trying to open. Whoever made this change missed the boat. Please fix ASAP.
LOVED this game until we upgraded to v2.0.8. After installing the upgrade the game shuts down immediately after opening!!! Tried uninstall-reinstall and same thing happens. This was our fav game for unwinding and we played it every night. We will have to install another solitaire game now.
After accepting the recent upgrade to this program, we can no longer use it. It crashes on startup every time. Reboots of our (IOS5.1.1) do not help. Removal of app and clean reinstallation from App Store also does not work. Clearly, the developer should have caught this in testing. This software is broken. One star is too many.
After upgrading, have not been able to play our favorite Solitare game :( The game crashes and emits noises and will not open to allow play-we are soooo sorry we tried to upgrade.
We wouldn't recommend upgrading to the latest version. Does NOT work on our old iPad or newer iPad mini.
