The double tap to enter a number really slows down the moves, as does the graphic spin when a block has been completed. Im prefer the older version.
We have enjoyed this game for a long time. It's our go-to! No fancy colors needed, yet visually appealing. Just the right amount of features. We wouldnt change a thing.
We wanted a basic, easy to understand Sudoku game. We didnt want loud colors or little explosions. We wanted a game to challenge us, and not entertain us. This is a rewrite of an earlier review. We used to keep deleting and reloading the app to keep playing but hated the pop ups. Then we purchased 100 of the top level. Our ability to play improved greatly. We love playing every day to help keep our mind sharp. It also relaxesI play to keep tension away and it works.

We love the fact that you can write notes to help you. Its similar to playing on paper, which we like, and it times you so you know your best.
Too many distracting ads, cant let the kids use it.
It takes too long to get the numbers to appear in the cells. It needs to go faster.
We like that we could put number notes in each block. We like that we could choose to have it show us in red where our mistakes were. However, we think that the numbers are difficult to enter. Firstly, one quickly taps a number once to enter it as a note. But, when we moved too quickly for it to the next block, the number was entered into the new block instead, so we had to watch out and pause for a moment after hitting each number. To enter a number (not as a note), we either double clicked or held it instead of tapping once. However, sometimes the double click wiped out the note leaving nothing, and sometimes the holding didn't register. Also, it sometimes registered a tap as a hold and put a number that we didn't want in a block thus wiping out the notes for that number in neighboring blocks which was very frustrating–it was all very frustrating. Also, it wouldn't let us replay any boards. Bummer. Finally, the ads didn't just pop up between games. They popped up in the middle of the games all of a sudden while we were tapping for a number. By the time we got back, we had forgotten where we were and what our strategy was. These things really sucked the joy out of playing it. Please consider making adjustments so it's easier to use. Thank you.
Fun,challenging, and easy to use.
We love it because it works like the paper game. Let's us put in possible choices and removes them as we choose a choice. The bonus is it rates you compared to other players.
Just what we wanted. Lots of puzzles and the ads only come up every once in awhile. You almost forget that there are ads.
We love that there are so many difficulty levels. The only bad part is how much time we can waste playing it.
Finally an App that provides the ease of Sudoku for our iPad! This App is simple to use, without a lot of clutter or being too 'busy'. It's just like sitting down with a newspaper and a pencil – but easier and cleaner.
Great game but needs color (yellow) to highlight the rows/square you are working on. The gray does not stand out enough.
Simple, clean interface. Too bad it has the most obnoxious ads ever.
We don't see any improvements in this new version. The only difference we can see is the annoying and sometimes offensive ads for for other games and apps. They interrupt the game and cannot be stopped or closed until the video plays out. Unless this disappears pretty quickly, we will be deleting this game.

Great Soduku! Handy features, can choose difficulty and even undo.
We like many features: that it erases our notes when we make the number permanent, the calming music, that it gives the average time players take to complete, and that there's no ads. But there's only a few games per level.
We enjoyed this app very much. Works very well.
We appreciate the program automatically erasing a number in our "notes" when we enter the number as an answer in the box. Without giving away the answers, we can see where we are more easily than in the booklets we also use to play.
This is an excellent game it doesn't glitch and it doesn't have ads bothering you.
We were recently introduced to sudoku and have now become addicted thanks to this game! This particular app is entertaining, challenging and easy-to-use. It has everything you could ask for in a game! Highly recommend.
Fun game. Kind of different than most sudoku puzzles, but a good time killer.
Our only suggestion is to provide a way to remove the timer in the settings. We get distracted by timers and don't care about how quickly we finish a puzzle that we don't even exclusively work on in only one sitting. The sound effects are great: subtle and unobtrusive. The music is nice, and it's helpful that it can be turned off or lowered independent of the sound. This is definitely the most attractive Sudoku application that we've seen.
