We used to play this game on roadtrips while we were a kid. The multiplayer was so much fun, we completely forgot it existed until today and had to track it down.
A lot of game for a little price… One of the best developers in the app store, re-downloaded this and am amazed its 8yrs old and still going strong! Fine graphics for its age, control and weapon buttons seem bigger too. Cant understand why there are one star reviews! If you like ww1 flying this is definitely the most satisfying.

We love Atypical Games series. The graphics aim for realism and playability and Rise of Glory doesn't disappoint. Very realistic and challenging, it makes you feel like you're there. The only thing that would make this game perfect would be an autopilot option like the other Sky Gamblers titles. Other than that it's fun, amazing and well done.
We like that when you get hit, it tells you where the enemy that shot you is. Best flight simulator we've ever played. AWESOME GAME.

First off this game is awesome! We let our cousins play it on our phone and they also loved it! But the only problem we have is that one day we got on and was going to play some dogfight missions but we found out nearly all of our planes are gone! So yea fun game but PLEASE fix the bug.

We will give you five stars when you allow to restart progress (NO, creating a new account is not an option, we want to use our unique Game Center account). This game is a true work of art but it is a pity that many of us would love to restart from zero and cannot.
We have had to play through the first campaign 4 times to get our planes back please fix this issue.

So we love the game and all but the controls are terrible. Unlike most comments, Im not saying that its the tilt thats bad. Its the feel. First of all, the fighting feels like modern jet dogfighting. It should feel slow, and feel like theres actually weight to the plane like WWI planes were. Also, the AI also acts like a modern jet pilot, yet is still really easy.
The game is fun and multiplayer is good, however the controls are pretty bad. But lets start first with the good. We like the accuracy on the planes and the different skins for each. Multiplayer is easy to navigate and join. Now for the not-so-good. Im not a fan of the tilt controls (in any game actually) and in this game it makes it really hard to fly. We would prefer a d-pad that controls the entire plane. The current d-pad only moves the back rudder, acceleration and deceleration which is unnecessary in most matches. There needs to be an option where you can fly with no tilt needed. Other than that this is a great game. PS: also a suggestion, add bombers to the game and make some missions and multiplayer modes around that; that would be really interesting and fun :).
Not a big fan of the controls, we dislike how you have to tilt no matter what control setting you have on and just to change it you have to quit all the way back to the main menu, not happy with that either, why can't it be as simple as sky gamblers storm raiders, the controls there were amazing and we feel like the graphics were a lot better.
This game no longer consistently saves our progress, so we can never proceed to other campaigns and the like. This game needs a thorough updating to make it workable again, as MANY others have pointed out but nothing is being done. So its a worthless app until its fixed.
Not updated for six years! ? And it has not been updated since the release! And it does not support multiple languages.
We decided to come back to this game and Im honestly disappointed, after doing the first campaign we were finishing dog fights and on mission 89 we noticed all the planes a had, all the campaign missions we completed GONE all our progress was nothing but a waste of time so after completing it AGAIN it restarted again this needs to be fixed now.
Nobody is playing this game online anymore. Since mid January '19 we've had only 3 occasions when we've been able to battle online, and it's been with only 1 other player.
Free is too expensive a price. This used to be decent. Clearly something happened to the software behind the app. Not remotely realistic flying.
Only gyro controls.. Something that could have been cool.. Once again from this game maker. No real vision or maturity to their games.
Ived really enjoy history's story mode on this game. We would love to see better graphics for upcoming sky gamblers. Better cockpit view with better scenery.
We have had the game for about a week now and it crashes daily, sometimes three or four a day, wiping out our points, ranks etc. The graphics are great, it is fun to play, however we are getting fatigued with all the restarting etc. There also, doesnt seem to be many other people playing on line (wonder why?) which also is disappointing.
Difficult to fly. Can't see most of the planes/scenarios because we can't win prior scenarios. Multiplayer a waste of time, as we get shot down within a few seconds of "re -spawning." Deleted three days after purchase. Waste of money and memory.
Terrible graphics Horrible controls Boring game we can't even play multiplayer because nobody plays. We loved storm raiders and atypical's other games. This one really doesn't meet there standard in our mind. As we sad disappointing.
We generally dislike tilt control games and this one reinforces our opinion. Two d-pads would be better. It makes the game pretty much a non-starter for us. If you're sitting at an angle, or lying down, it's no good. You almost have to hold the iPad perfectly horizontal to fly straight.
