Slayaway Camp Reviews

We really like it but we think it would be better if it had a build mode! Like you can build your own maps and people could join it! You could have a couple of saves but like you could pay for more saves and loads! Just a suggestion great game btw! 10/10.

The game is simple and enjoyable puzzle game. We definitely recommend. However, last update removed stickers for us. Please re add, or fix if this was a mistake.

It would be really cool if you added someone from dbd like trapper.

First off, we love the new update. We’ve always wanted to play the Santas Slay levels but couldnt be bothered to download the Steam version, and the new NC-17 stuff is great as well, but there is a problem. We’ve always loved the VHS boxes, as they have always been fun to read, but now when we tap them, they just exit out of the VHS. Is that supposed to happen? Is that just a new part of the game? Also we cant buy the Street Sweeper in the shop.

When we first saw this game which was around 3 or 4 years ago, we bought it and had a lot of fun with it! We had to buy some solutions but most of them were really fun and not too difficult. We loved beating the levels and watching the after level death scene. We really hope this game gets featured somewhere else on a bigger platform or advertiser. Good Job with this and please make a second game!

Its fun to play. The puzzles keep stepping up the challenge but theyre not impossible to work out.

Would be 5/5 but the swipe controls frequently pull open our iOS menus or switch applications. We would be great to have on screen buttons as an alternative because its very annoying.

Running iOS 15.2 with their App Privacy feature. Why is Facebook being called by the app? We paid for this app. We dont use Facebook. This doesnt seem to align with the Privacy Nutrition Label. That and other domain calls. We are going to remove this now.

Blood death and wits combined into one! Fun and cute with a side of blood and bones nicely done!

Beautiful gorgeous best game you rock skull face.

Great puzzle game! Humorous, gory, and adorable!

We love horror and dig that we can carry this gem around with us, started with the free Friday the 13th spin-off and after finishing that it was enough to convince us that this was absolutely worth the price.

This game does just as good as it does on pc, home consoles, and the switch. Many cool characters to chose, 10/10 puzzles, and a unique story with many gore packs. Please continue Slayaway and make more games and characters to It.

We love games that make you think, as well as slashers from the glorious 80s. This is the perfect combination of the two.

Well made puzzle game, will keep you occupied for hours. The music, screams, sound effects will make you chuckle. Give a try, will not disappoint. We’ve already recommended this game to a few of our friends and theyre all loving it. Well done developers, thanks for the entertainment.

Pretty good sliding block style puzzles styled as a slasher movie series. Nice as a diversion and easy to fit in around other responsibilities with the turn based play. Rewind/fast forward/reset buttons make it easy to go back to earlier parts in a puzzle or to undo mistakes/fumbling.

We’ve already beaten it once on our phone but enjoyed it so much we dont mind getting a second chance to play through the game. Definitely worth playing.

This is an awesome game and one of the best games and Skullface is so Awesome!!!!!

Great puzzles that keep you thinking. Different obstacles to keep it fresh. Further most us being an old horror fan, all the old references and such nothing sort but phenomenal. Ill buy this game on any system or phone with a question.

Considering the price of this is way more on consoles and pc this is a great puzzle gem – yes gem – translated to iPhones it doesnt lose any of its charm and is great – ima cheapskate and we were compelled to buy this – give it a try people.

This game nailed a deadly combo of engaging, challenging, interesting puzzles with over-the-top horror and graphic violence. Granted, said violence is in the form of cartoony block characters, so its a sickening twist of comically cute gore. As a pretty old gamer, this adult themed game reminds us of the Wii game Madworld, which ended up sucking because the game itself was extremely repetitive and too boring for the gore to save it. Slayaway Camp instead is a great game packaged in a gory case. It will keep the most serious of us puzzlers occupied for hours and give us a few giggles and satisfying Mortal Kombat type finish moves along the way. The gameplay reminds us of our favorite mobile game of all time, King Rabbit, with cute murderers rather then cute bunnies. If you like this or that, you will like the other. We’ve never felt so guilty busting a smile or chuckle once in a while. What a game. Well done developers! Update: Still loving this. We were afraid the variety would end and the game would get boring after the first few camps. Wrong! You have to play to appreciate, but the police, telephones, swat team people, and light switches make the puzzles practically limitless. The cats are our favorite – game is about killing people, but touch or drown a cat and youre busted for animal cruelty. This game = epic!

An amazingly complex puzzle game filled with numerous 80s horror references in the form of cute, blocky figures. A must have for any true horror buff.

Tons o’ Fun. A puzzle game full of 1980’s slasher tropes and nods to horror films new and old. We love this game.

Good but please add a level editor we love game plz add level editor.

Honestly this gave us a lot of nostalgia. This reminds of those old classics like Friday the 13th and nightmare on elm street. We just can’t stop playing this,I want to say thanks for making this a enjoyable experience.

Its awsome but you should make more levels if you do that would be great.

Once you start you can’t stop.

We got this after finishing the Friday the 13th game. This, we believe, predates the other and its graphics are a bit more crude and the puzzles we bit easier to solve, but its still a fantastic game. Im a big fan of these and we hope there will be more in the future. We can see it now, a Hellraiser, Halloween, and Nightmare on Elm Street (etc) version.

The intro cutscenes are funny and the way that everyone screams, oh and also who could forget about the, Ow, our pancreas! When you load into the game. Overall, this game is just amazing and we really hope that more people start to play it. Peace!

This is a super fun and somewhat challenging horror game. Im having a blast.

Yes, our title says 5-Star Game, but we’ve dropped it a star with our rating. This in ONLY because the game needs an iPhone X screen size update. It quickly becomes frustrating to load an app/game with so much unused screen space. The game itself is an incredibly awesome puzzle game, with great graphics and perfect sounds to accompany. Gameplay is simple, yet finding the solutions to the puzzles is far from easy.

We bought all the dlc, deleted the game, and now our dlc is gone and we have to buy it again!!!! Please fix this problem and maybe get our dlc back! :(

The app is fun, but there are alot of puzzles that are the same as the Friday the 13th puzzle game. Alot of the levels are way too simple- unless we’re that good lol. Great game still overall.

Terrible on iPod. Touch controls on iPod are bad. Also has a 2 second delay which makes it hard to play. All our other games work great on our 5th gen iPod running OS 9.32.

Could be a fun game if it ever worked.

If you’re a fan of slasher films like Friday the 13th, Halloween, or Nightmare on Elm St., you need to pick this game up. It’s completely worth the price! This game is also great for fans of puzzle games. It’s unique game mechanics and atmosphere will draw you in immediately! Please, do yourself a favor and buy this game, it’s only $1.99 for god’s sake.

This game seems really simple on the outside, but is actually one of the best games we have ever played.

This game is a great puzzle game with amazing gory artstyle.

In a world where most puzzle games are a variation of Candy Crush (which is really a variation of Tetris,) its refreshing to see something completely different, especially if youre a fan of horror films. Not only is the main game strategy based, and with no shortage of levels and playable characters, but theres also the Faces of Killed sub game which is more of a mindless time waster. And while we’ve had this app for a while, we never got around to rating it, however, the recent induction of Bob as a playable character was epic enough that we had to finally do so.

We have this on two PCs and our phone. Really like it.

UPDATE review for updated game. Holy cow this game just keeps getting better. Developer just added more free levels and they rock. Slayaway camp is a hoot. It’s just a puzzle game but the hilarious way it’s presented is the best part. Even when you fail it’s a joy hearing the closing credit song and seeing the credits roll. Different cast just about every time lol. It pokes fun at all those silly 80’s slasher movies we grew up on in a way that makes us want to see them all again. Levels are presented in an old video store style thats so funny.

Great, you guys may have seen our review before and saw our suggestion of adding avp characters and added an alien from "Aliens" by Ridley Scott , thank you so much for adding this but you only finished 50% of our suggestion and maybe you guys can add a predator since there will be a new movie about it.

The nerd in us loves every part of this game! The references, the puzzles, the hilarious kills, it’s the best app game we’ve ever played!

So ever since we got the update this app has been crashing constantly. In the middle of levels too. We LOVE this game but we dont want it to crash.
