This game has become our daily escape. It has gatcha elements, but you really dont need to participate in them to enjoy the game. Our best advice is to join or create a guild that has active players. Take part in all of the co-op things you can, and enjoy the rewards! Much better than gatcha! The one downside is that you cant try a character or lord before you start to save up for it, so research first.
Dear diary, Im a good slime, slurp. This game is a good time, slurp. Slime time is prime time. You can always tell a good slime by their shine, slurp. Slime Legion is a slime of sublime grind. Defend the tower to gain power. Rouge like it or not, its smile, slurp. Slurp, GoodSlimeSlurp.
This is a decent enough time killer of a game but the ads are just unforgivable. Its to the point where Im going out of our way to write this review which should tell you something. Its not that theyre plentiful, its that the ads for this game last sometime up to three minutes before giving you the option to leave. Its disrespectful to users and just gross.
At least the ads never open our browser. We found a cool trick where we set up five in a row but below that we put the next level up of that monster under the ones on the end and the next level from those underneath them. So fun but the coins interfere if we have chosen that reward, so please have those appear at the bottom. Also every once in a while we accidentally tap our screen on the edge and a monster goes away. Double check with us please! Its so frustrating to lose a monster that way. Today the app was glitching so we thought Id just uninstall and reinstall and it made us start over. How frustrating.
This game is rather entertaining, wish the stupid videos wouldnt last so long but other than that its great.
Ive enjoyed this game because it makes you think strategically but also theres like no ads unless you want an extra treasure box but other than that theres none! Im so sick of ads.
The game is great but pay is scattered on many items and is expensive! – making it impractical to purchase with confidence. On FTP basis it stalls after 30ish levels.

We've been playing this game for over a year, and while it's definitely fun and addictive, there are some frustrating parts. The gameplay itself is enjoyable, and there's a lot to like in terms of design, features, and events. However, the in-game prices are ridiculously high. Everything costs so much that it feels like you're constantly pressured to spend money just to keep up. Leveling up is also extremely slow unless you're willing to pay. After a certain point, it feels nearly impossible to progress without spending real money, which takes away from the overall experience. We still play because we enjoy it, but we really wish the developers would make things more balanced for free-to-play players.
We used to play this game daily, and the updates were relatively consistent to keep you interested, but we do not recommend spending money. When we played originally, there was no option to bind your account and the developers are too slow to respond or help to help us regain access. We regularly bought packs and had tons of progress so we were too far along to start over. Edit: we did get access back so added a few stars, but the new character release cadence and monetization is pretty bad. As someone with a legacy account that had every character, we have 0 of the SS and SSS characters. No practical way to earn them.
We really enjoy this game. We have been playing it for 2 years. The only thing that stinks is there is almost no way to get SS characters and things without spending hundreds upon hundreds for a single character. We love the puzzle and character aspect with abilities to defeat some things. Definitely worth playing.
Lots of actions and upgrades great way to pass time.
This game is so dope. Lots of in strategy without some lame time pressure making it un relaxing. Ads are incorporated in a way that they arent constantly cutting you off every 60 seconds. Super seriously get this game. Ive downloaded so many and deleted them within an hour because of how many ads beleaguer us.
The game itself is fun, and offers plenty of different RNG paths. However, its stacked against you. The levels dont just become harder, they become impossible after the 3rd map. Most of the special characters are heavily monetized and are barred by pay walls. Unfortunately this game has great potential, but poor execution.
We love this game we never get board of it endless levels.
It starts off good but quickly becomes a grind that is constantly trying to get you to watch ads or buy pay to win packs.

Its a simple game, but we will say its kind of addictive.
Clearly favors the ptw style game. First three levels are almost impossible if you dont want to drop the money. Three days in and finally beat stage 3. But boy howdy that $9.99 bundle wouldve made it a lot easier.
There is like 2 seconds to build your army how am we supposed to win.
Tbh we fell asleep during the tutorial (if there was one). No fault of the game (we were sleepy) and we figured it has cartoon graphics so how hard can it be? Hard. Very Hard. So, hypocritically, you should pay attention or failing that the old fashioned method of trial and error still works, kind of. TLDR If we (or any sane person) gives a game 5s and have been losing a lot that means its good. Very Good.
Best and Worst!! Best: This is quite possibly one of the best match-engine, turn-based games Ive ever played. Worst: You could spend all of your money on it as to how they have monetized everything all the time and peak your R-factor. Watch out if you suffer from addiction or if you have a child playing this with access to pay: you could blow thousands in minutesseriously the ethics of app games are $#!+.
Definitely one of the best games Ive played on mobile, and Ive played a lot. Merging is very tactical, learning more efficient merging techniques is fun and rewarding, and the different levels offer different challenges that are unique puzzles to solve. Very fun if you like strategy games like we do.
Really fun game brings all the excitement of match 3 puzzle games together with a wave based tower defense game and horizontally angled stationery shooter and tower defense based in how well you matched and merged puzzle pieces thruout the round fun game.
We dont know what yall did to that last update but we had to restart our entire account over great game tho.
Wish we could open it without it crashing though. We miss playing this. Edit: Well we can open it now, but all our progress has been reset, so thats a real downer. It took so long to get as far as we did, and Im sure not gonna spend money to get a small part of it back.
So Ive been playing for the past serval months and have gotten most of the heros except for a few and came to a roadblock. Its essentially impossible to get any S or higher heros unless you dump hundreds of dollars. Which we guess is ok if your trying to pay to win. But its ridiculous how much you have to spend just get one s hero. As example right now even with arrows bought with gems and free arrows just to get to 300 shots just for one Navi. With a short time period to get said character to. So overall if you like puzzle games and a bit of strategy Id recommend overall game is fun, the micro transactions are gross.

This game needs patience and it is very fun.
Its fun and easy but challenging.

The game is hard but fun. Our only gripe is too many iap for events. Maybe scale it back a bit.
The bejeweled/candy crush aspect gives us the combining joy we crave. The strategy of placement for the units to defeats the waves is an added bonus. We dont feel bad trying the same level multiple times if we fail. F2P. Probably easier if money spent. Would recommend.
We love this game, its really fun and its not pay to play at all. HOWEVER! We love how stupid the in game purchases are. Hey, do you want 5 character shards? $4.99 please! Thats a 999% value! Then you scroll down. For $1.99 your first purchase of gems is 120 gems. We saw the shards are Vampire Shards. A Purple tier character. For 5 shards of a blue tier character in the daily shop its 25 gems. To get purple tier in a box you need to get the second tier box for 400 gems. You get two shards of purple tier at random. But if you get the top tier box, 1000 gems. You get 12 random purple shards. 1000 gems is $19.99. First purchase you get 2000 gems on that tier. So. To make the claim that its 999% the value to buy those 5 shards theyre trying to equate 1 shard to an absurd 10 dollars a shard if Im correct on our math. We know other games do this rediculous amount more. But this has been the most unbalanced shop Ive seen in a game. Especially since at tier 7 of a vampire, to get it to tier 8 you need 20 shards. So it would be $20 to level up this Vampire unit. We had seen this and had to make fun of it, devs, we love your game, its amazing! But your greed is evident. The amount of purchases and garbage you can get in here is so annoying. Battle pass, like 5 different events, piggy bank, and not to mention the fun daily offers on the side bar. A 999% value to get 5 Vampire shards, 100 gems, and 1000 coins for $4.99! Well which is it? Is it 999% for the 5 shards alone, are we getting the 100 gems and 1000 coins free? Idk, we just saw this and it makes us laugh at how awful the paid shop is. Id never spend money on the game. Luckily there arent intrusive ads or anything like that. But its real evident the shop is just a mess. You dont need to pay to be able to enjoy the game. Shards and gems are handed out fairly regularly and well. But yeah. Also events seem very pay to get anything too. They give such a small window to complete events, and the amount of times you can do it a day are awful making some Evernote very pay to achieve. Its obvious they dont want to give out much of anything out of events for free. So they want you to buy the stuff to get higher tier in events. It is just another copy and paste game but without the copy and paste way of hey every single 40 seconds theres an ad so its a win. Its fun time waster game to play a bit. But obvious the shop doesnt know how to actually balance purchase worth or anything. Which sure its a nitpicky thing to complain about. But even if it wasnt, we would still give a 4/5 star because there are some gameplay things that are annoying. But yeah, thought the idea of the store being so clunkily made is funny. Great fun game to play here and there.
Enjoying this game so far. Only suggestion would be to add more affordable layers (99c) in because of the need to get better things in the game.
It takes a while to learn how to play but once its figure out then its very fun game.
We cant clear anything. The pay to win is very much here. We kill the first boss and no matter how lucky our start we cant make it a single space more. Even with the luckiest start yet we didnt clear the level at all. It keeps making us want to spend money to make our units useful.
The move suggestions are so insanely annoying most of the time the suggestions are useless too. Please remove them or include an option to turn them off and please make diagonal moving default instead of an upgrade.
Its a good game however Im unable to pass the first level. Its not a skill issue, Ive used plenty of tactics and over the past week Ive even unlocked other cards and theyre skills should have allowed us to plow right through the level but instead Im still stuck. Ill give it a week if its not fixed by then Im done. If this is your strategy to get people to spend money its not working.
Overall this is a fun game. However, its practically impossible to progress without spending money. You cant even get past the first level. Why create a game that cant be played? We understand developers want to be paid but this is ridiculous.
Less of a game more of an ad delivery system.
Plain and simple a great game fun with upgrades and plenty of unlock-able abilities.
So flipping fun cant get enough of it play NOW.
Easy to learn, lots of strategies available, and not money hungry.
Great game! Its very strategy heavy – much more to it than the usual blend three.
Game is so fun we were hesitant at first but now Im just addicted.
