There is not a useful difference between the free and purchased app. Lame.
You are able to use emoji keyboard without even downloading a free app, much less a $0.99 app. Use the same directions but you do not have to download an app at all. Don't waste your money.

We purchased the full version but the increased categories can not be accessed by the keyboard and only directly thru the app. Also the new emoticons are pictures created with a variety of small icons so it can take up the full texting screen when sending just one emoticon. With the free app you get all the icons you are going to get to access from the keyboard. Wish the other reviews had been more specific.
