Finely tuned bot algorithms will give a challenge to even most skilled players. Various of tricky yet honest moves, misere catches and no-cheating all-pass rounds is what makes this game feel like real game with human players. You can pick a cheater to compare though.
Wide array of options and conventions will allow every player find their familiar game type. Besides usual three-player game we are the only pref-app that allows two players (aka Gusarik or Hussars pref) and classic 4 player game! Now it makes SmartPref the ONLY preferans game with COMPLETE set of conventions and game variations.
iPhones, iPods and iPads are supported. Portrait orientation and thorough UX allows comfortable playing and holding iPhone with one hand. iPads and iPhone 6+,7+ and 8+ also support landscape mode.
Stats data is collected for all games played and is used to build beautiful graphs and charts to help you evaluate your preferans skill growth.

Community Insight:
Excellent card game that challenges your brain and memory. Opponents seem to be more realistic players (some even make mistakes sometimes). The only suggestion is to have a choice to pick different levels of opponents – easy to hard- to help progress the players skills.

We've tried all preferans apps in app store and this is the only one worth it.
We are Russian and live in the US. We love playing it. It keeps your memory up and fun to play. We would like to have an option that allows you to play the hand again but the computer plays instead of you, so you can see where you made a mistake. But overall its a great game with very decent partners.
We are Russian living in US and dont get to play pref often, but this app keeps us tuned, so when we get a chance to play with friends we never lose. Thank you for keeping the heritage alive.
We tried several Preferance games one this one is by far closest to the real thing.
Nicely done! Conventions and random generations algorithm works great. One thing that bothers us – privacy. How can we opt-out from personal data collection.
Nice interface, except the need to wait for player turn to announce final outcome. Nice touch with statistics. The problem is with random generators, not a developer fault – too many 8, 9 and 10s rounds, 4 on 4 deals, no matter what random generator was chosen. And finally AI is not as good as Marriage.
Not optimized for the iPad screen. Wish never bought it.
After latest updates, the game started to cheat on the pass games. No matter what cards you have in hand, computer just plays the optimum scenario against you. What a disappointment! Will look for a honest version of Preferans somewhere else.
We love pref and missed the ability to play on the phone. This version is well done. Thank you.
Beautifully done. The AI seems pretty smart. Also, the developer talked to us when we reported a minor issue – more than we can say for Zynga or developers of other games that we have. Good job.
