Players spin the wheel and move their playing pieces for the number of steps indicated by the wheel. If they land on the lower-numbered end of the squares with a "ladder", they can move their token up to the higher-numbered square. If they land on the higher-numbered square of a pair with a "snake", they must move their token down to the lower-numbered square.
The first player who successfully arrives at the last space in an exact number of steps is the winner. If you exceed the required number of steps, you must step forward into last space and then move backwards for the number of steps in excess.

Only one of the characters is of color, and thats an African American boy. We would like to see better representation of other races for the characters.
Our five-year-old loves to play this game. We cannot play right now because it needs an update to iOS 11. Please make the updates needed so we can continue to play this game.
Our four year old loves to play this game with all of her friends. Provides hours of entertainment, reinforces number recognition, teaches sharing, and sometimes how to loose gracefully :-) although we’re sure she would disagree. It’s a keeper. Thanks guys!!
What??? All versions there are 19 bad votes (not 5 stars) and in the current version, there are none.
Our 4 year old fell in love with Chutes and Ladders at his cousins’ recently. This app works perfectly and is much cheaper than buying board game. It moves the pieces automatically, so miscounts and/or cheating are eliminated.
This version is not compatible with the latest iOS update and we can no longer play which is very upsetting considering we just paid for the app to be able to play more than once a day… Great game but noticed the app hasnt been updated in 5 years, so not very pleased there.
When we play in single player the robot always seems to jsut avoid the big slides and he always gets the ladder at 28 going to the top to u guys cheat the robot?
Needs to be updated for the new version please do or give us our money back.

We Played The lite version and it was fun then all the sudden we decided to buy for almost $4 an not worth our money! It opens and you choose your character but when you click play it freezes and then crashes like what the heck apple…. Get your crap straightened out……………….. Horrible game… Fix it and everyone read reviews before you buy it!!
When ever we click the play button it would sort of freeze then crash. We really want to try it so can you try to fix it ?
This used to be a great game and one of our son’s favorites to play. But it does not work on his iPod Touch 3rd Generation. :o( It crashes whenever you hit the "play" button, before you even get to the actual game board. It still seems to work on our iPhone 4 and iPad 2, but the whole reason we get him his own iPod Touch was so he wouldn’t be using our expensive electronics all the time. Please fix this bug ASAP!! Our son literally asks us multiple times a day if it’s working now. :o(
We don’t get it, these should be an easy game to program and yet it crush every time we try to play, can we have our dillar back? Apple do something about it? There is a free game about the same concept. You use that and avoid these one.
