There is an option that can ask you to confirm if you want to end a game on the Settings screen. It’s called "Confirm New/End" and if you’re prone to accidentally hitting the New button during play then simply turn it on.

If you like to play Solitaire City in bed, then you can lock the display to either landscape or portrait, again from the Settings screen.

What’s New in the Latest Update?
Find out what’s new in the latest version of Solitaire City updated on 31st August 2023:
- The 7.24 update would crash after creating a new background or card back using the camera or from the photo album.
- Removed "Card Rotations" and "Card Shadows" from the Settings screen that appears when you press the cog wheel during game play.
- New backgrounds – Aged Wood, Kittens, Puppies and Dolphins.
Bug Fixes in 7.24
- Game Center stopped working when updating iOS because a "What’s New in Game Center" screen would briefly appear and then disappear behind the user interface preventing the "Continue" button from being pressed.
- On iOS 16, if you paused the game and changed your device orientation then the screen would mess up.
- If you replayed a game with scoring turned off and then won the game and then chose to play another game, the same cards would be dealt again.
- Some of the help message boxes were lingering around during Training.

This is great app to pass time or for a quick break! We recently updated and all our scores, etc. Remained intact. We’ve played countless times and still find it challenging!
Easy to play, always performs well for us – no lock ups or delays. All cards turn seem and feel very random. Nice to allow to reverse a move that either made in error or see a better choice. Gives you a hint if you really want one.
Started to play and couldnt stop for a while but now we are in control. Great game to play when board.

PLEASE READ THIS WILL GIVE YOU LOTS OF INFORMATION we got this game thinking it was just going to be a classic Klondike solitaire game. We soon found out that it actually had 20 different games. It has games like Spider, Free Cell, and just normal solitaire. One thing is that it also has different settings so you can change cards backs on them as well as the font and size of them and the backgrounds for the game. Another thing is that this game has setting to change the difficulty so you can make it was or harder. This game does have ads but 3 second ones which you can quickly exit them and it is super easy. This game also does not require any money for ANYTHING. It is super easy and great. There is also a leaderboard to compare your scores to other players. We also came to the game only knowing how to play regular solitaire. We tried some new games and they have instructions for each game if you want them. We now know 19 more solitaire games then before. If you dont know how to play any games we completely 100% recommend solitaire city. We really love this game and it is so much more than just another card game app. We really do love this game. We really do recommend this.
We like having a variety of games to play on one app. We like that we can customize the gamemaking it as hard or easy as allowed within the fame ruled.
