The goal of Spades is to reach 500 points with your team. Players sitting opposite each other play as a team. The game begins with a round of bidding. You try to predict the number of "tricks", or turns, you will win. The combined bids of two partners make a "contract". Once the bidding is completed, the partners must fulfill their contract, not the individual bids. You make a contract by winning at least a contracted number of tricks. A bid of Nil means the player will try not to win any tricks. The "trump" (or highest value) suit is always Spades. Each contracted trick is worth 10 points. If you fail to fulfill the contract, a penalty is the entire value of that contract. Each overtrick, or taking more than you bid, is worth 1 point and also earns you one "bag". Every set of 10 "bags" incurs a 100-point penalty. Winning a Nil bid is worth 100 points, failing a Nil bid is penalized by 100 points.

We enjoy the game. However, there are times when they deduct big points, and it seems as if it’s just to keep the game going longer. For example, deducting the 100 point nil win because of the extra bags exceeding the bid. If our team is ahead by 100 or more points, that’s when the points are deducted. Also the other player team can have 3 over their bid, and not get dinged with deductions. Nit so, if we are just 2 over our bid. There’s no need to draw the game out with such tactics.

When the game opens for bids you cant view all of the cards because the view is being blocked by opening bid box! Therefore you cant make a accurate bid!
You cant cut at times when you need to which is very stupid and the bid window is to freaking big, cant see your partners bids until you bid, not well put together.
How can we bid (not bet) when t our numbers are blocked on three cards?
Once spades are broken we still cant lead spades & game cards are to quick its hard to keep count of cards played . We dont like this game.
Why do yall make our partner work against us when we bid nil? We bid nil and our partner had bid 9. It let opponents keep winning books by throwing off suite instead of cutting like it should had until we finally had no choice but to win a book and mess up our nil. It happens so much that its annoying that yall cant develop a game to be played right. Horrible app.
Bid window blocked Also, partner went set on bidding Nil when she didnt have to. No excuse. This is not acceptable.
The app puts the bid box covering your cards, you can not view what cards you have to bid with , no way to move the bid box from covering your cards. Its three bots against you and the game is fixed.
Great game but our view is being blocked by the gadget that the bids r on.
Our cards are blocked by the choice bar and we dont know what we have in order to bid.
The bid window blocks view of cards when player has opening bid , accurate bid cannot be made due to bid window blocking view of top of cards President.
