Incredible app. Simple, elegant, customizable without being overwhelming. Its a great app. If we could make 1 change it would be the bots. Idk who coded those things, but they need to be fired and replaced by like a blind pig and it would probably give better results.
The game is great if you can actually connect to a game. Since 5/19/23 thru today (5/21/23), once logged in, you cane never actually connect to a game. Just spins it wheels looking for players. Guess their techs dont work on weekends. Will see what happens during the work week. Maybe they are on strike with the Hollywood Writers Guild.
Update: they figured out their issue and have the game up and running again! Now the only issue is the LONG ads between games . Makes you want to close app. Sadly this also keep the 4 players from enjoy another game together as always someone (or everyone) doesnt want to wait up to 2 minutes. Can now only play with bots. Says there are zero players on line every time we open the app to play with humans. Just spins and spins.
People assume you are a certain color which is weird. App shouldnt allow people to make racist comments.

II played this game everyday. Your VERY ANNOYING ads that have popped up a few months ago are really annoying, to say the least. And it also seems that since these ads have appeared, the bots have become dumber. Cards are played that no one with half a brain or know how to play the game, would ever play; and we make this assessment after all cards are played by all players. Very frustrating!!! This game has come much less enjoyable to us!!

Seems there is a stock reply to complaints without anyone actually reading the complaints. Hate you have abandoned the idea of rising the app. No WONDER there are less that 50 on at a time. – What has happened to this app? This use to be a fun game. But the app constantly crashes. Also the guy who complained about the censorship is correct. You cant even ask WHY to your poorly played partner without getting reported & chat banned for several days. We guess hurt feelings when they play for the opponent is WAY too much. Wasnt even rude. No wonder it is down to less than 50 people on. Are you guys just abandoning the app to be WOKE? It shows its a BAD IDEA always is. Why have you RUINED your app?
Your app does not work anymore!! All it says is zero users online!! Then says reconnect!! Fix it!!

Theres a reason this game cannot break 100 players at any given time. The Bots are the worst, especially when you go nil and the Bot wastes an Ace of spades when there is no reason to use it. Bots take unneeded bags. Programmer must not know how the game is played.
This game used to be great. Now there are so many long ads between each hand its unbearably to play.
Originally, you could pay for this game and not have any ads and then all of a sudden you get the ads no matter what so this game has gone down the tubes dont even bother the last three days it hasnt even been playable.
Constantly kicks us off and after several times of trying, we cant even get into a table. We’ve tried customer service atleast 100x with no response still. Youre penalized with trash hands when you leave a game but if youre placed with someone that automatically bids a BLIND nil, why would we stay? We get mutted for communicating things like stop holding the game because alot of internet trolls literally dont play their card until the very last second repeatedly. That user then flags us bc we spoke in the chat. Seemingly the app administrators just mute you automatically now. Maybe understaffed? Idk but its unnecessary. Also, the freezing in the middle of games! The worse. Oddly its when our team is winning. But Here again you have to exit the game (fyi theres no other way to go back in the game you were in).. Wait thru a 1000 ads, just to wait to connect again. Just over it. We’ve enjoyed some aspects of the app but at this point Ill look elsewhere. – Former supporter of over 6 yrs.
We play this game all the time to pass time. We really enjoy playing against the robots actually we prefer to play with the robots because every time we play on line our partner seems to be an idiot.. Lol they are extra slow and the dont know how to play so they either over bid or under bid and we lose the game. We do lose with the robots sometimes but the game goes much faster and it is still challenging.
This is our best Spades Game. We love it!!!
We really enjoy playing Spades, and particularly the Jogatina version. However lately its been closing down after maybe a hand! Does it need an update to get out the bugs?
Thats insane, we bid 2 or 3 and they go nil with the Q of spades? Also, many times we cant get out of the ad and have to shut it down.
We wish the bots could or would actually play efficiently. Tired of our partner banking up bags when they dont have to or under biding 1 when they have 4 high spades so frustrating. Im moving on to another app. Its no fun!
There is a black screen pop up that happens when playing against bot and when playing against other people. It pops up during games as if a video is going to play. You can X out of it but it pops up again and again every 5-20 seconds. We are using an iPhone With iOS 15.6.1. Please fix this bug. Playing the game has become unbearable.
This format is very slow. We usually play with bots for this reason only. We would like to play with people but the pace is ssooooo slow. Also the app does not distribute cars equitably. It get stuck and we have to delete it and reinstall often.
Since the last update (3.1.12) the game crashes every few minutes on our iPad. Update. The problem has been resolved.
We lost the app when computer crashed. Since we’ve reinstalled, there are irritating ads, sometimes covering cards and content. We’ve emailed about it but we get nowhere with them. Very disappointing!
Please do not have the Bots partner play nil! It bids nil when it has a queen of spades, and we might have a fairly weak hand. For goodness sakes, just let Bots be less proactive in bidding!!!!!!!!
Frequently gets an ad stuck on the main page and you are not able to play. You have to delete app and re-install it.
Dont like the advertisement waiting between games. Takes too long between games. With new up date the advertisement is back. Please stop ads.
Used app for some time and enjoyed it. Newer versions require multiple screens to even deal a new hand. The same choices have to be made each time. If you are not careful you will have to start over with a new game. Some ads are reasonable for a free app, but many hang up the screen and you have to delete saved data to continue. Today adds have begun in Chinese and cannot be read. These generally hang up the game with no way out.
We have played many many games on this spades app and have liked it quite a bit. However, now, we dont like the new chat box, it is way more clunky and hard to use. And also, playing v bots now is no longer fun, because of the huge increase in ads most of them long ones.
This app has the potential to be great! We had to delete the app and re- download it about 15x because it always freeze on you while playing and sometimes you cant see your cards when its your turn to bid. Please fix this issue ASAP!!!!
We used to enjoy this game until these ads started popping up. We were just trying to play and an ad popped up that prevented us from seeing our cards. Then its no way to start a new game if it looks like youre still in a game. We’ve been playing this game for years and its never been as bad as it is now. Think Ill try to find another game.
We have an iPhone 8 Plus… Since an update several months ago, at the end of a game the advertising screen will stay up , even though the next spades game starts. We can’t see our cards because of the advertising screen is "frozen" … We tried many things to get rid of that screen but nothing works… We have to delete the app and then reload it… We put in a ticket but nothing ever changes.. We have reloaded the app at least 100 times since then… Nothing helps and support is non- existing…
We down loaded this game years ago for $.99. Since then we have watched it get better and better. Then more people started playing and more ads started coming on with every update. Now it keeps getting worse and worse. Now its like they dont care about the player. Its all about getting ad money. We shouldnt even be seeing the ads since we paid for the app. They need to figure out a way to ban the players that come in blind nil get bad cards and leave. This is so irritating for the players that just want to have a good game at lunch. They will just ban you from being able to talk to people without an explanation. We usually say hi if spoken to or chat with people if they want. But if someone gets mad then they report you and next thing you know you cant chat and there is nothing you can do about it. The ads they put at the end keep you from playing another game with the same people again. For that we take a star away. So just like a lot of the other apps. The improvements and greediness has lead to poor quality.
The game is not worth it no more the commercials are terrible.

Ads! Ads! Ad! And sometimes we never can start a new match started without turning our phone off and then back on. We enjoy the game but we are surprised how nasty some players can get, name calling and cussing isnt unusual. We adjusted our rating DOWN because of the insertion of ads in between each hand. ANNOYING! And in the past week the Ads cover half the screen and we cant see our cards to make a bid. Pitiful.
Now its a big commercial that will freeze your game. More money, more money…. Always greed. Was great before.

This game told us to update now its an advertisement blocking our whole game. It also needs to tech new beginners how to play. The advertisement is covering our whole game we cant play.
We cannot tolerate the constant interruption of ads…. And not short ads. You need an opt out of ads option or a one time download fee. This version has everything in terms of presentation but we are sure you are going to lose others… We are leaving because of ads!

Can you fix the computer so it protects you better when you go nil? If we have the king of spades it will throw out the Ace, to protect us on an off suit, a lot of times when it has a smaller spade it couldve used so therefore Im now set with the king. This happens A LOT and is very annoying. Please make this game even better and fix this. Also we dont like the new update. It says we can turn off blind nil but theres not an option when you pick what score you want. We play this game everyday and really enjoy it but we cant stand the blind nil option.
Its the only spades app we’ve like…. Until this last update. We hate it!!! We liked being able to play offline when we wanted, not now. You changed playing with the bots. We dont like that the option for the blind nil pops up for every hand. Change it back so we can turn the option off if Id like or turn it on. Having it pop up every hand is really annoying. Otherwise still a good game. But still thinking about finding another app.
Even though the game is free, there are way way way way way too many ads!!! Every single hand requires at least one many seconds ad! We lose track of the strategy of our game and the cards that have been played and become distracted and bored and move on to backgammon despite spades being our fave!! Our game disappears every time we reload it!!! What is wrong with jogatina??? The same thing happened with jogatina hearts!!! Disappears every time or wont load at all!! Please let us know… We played those two games for years! Makes no sense.
We’ve just played 3 games. While it’s nice that every single hand that we have gotten we have had nothing less than a 9 (mostly A’s, K’s and Q’s), the bot opponent went nil every single hand in the last game. Ridiculous. Fix it or we’re out.
Game will not run on our ipad. When we download and run from down load page it runs one time. After that it will not run.
Why do we have to delete the game from our device and then download it again just to continue playing?
With all the faces and crap they allow, it is not worth it. People are so rude and stupid.
FIXED: Game keeps telling us to update but then there is no update and it just tells us to open it. We Restarted our computer and it continues to ask us to do updates that arent there. UPDDATE… Developer has fixed the problem. Great game to play, rapid response, thank you.
How in Gods name do we get the update that it keeps offering us Every Single Time that we try to play a game? We’ve pushed everything possible.
