Ive played this game for many years and never had any issues. But now its closing on its own right in the middle of a game. We tried powering our phone down, but that didnt work. Next we did the upgrade. Nope. Finally we deleted the app altogether and downloaded anew. Still closing after about a minute of play. This is our favorite game, but we wont play it if we have to reopen it every minute.
Of course we hate the ads but Im not one to spend money on a game app. Our only other quibble is Ive reached 3910 points, we have all the monthly backgrounds and theres nothing left to spend points on. No biggie-Ill keep playing because Im addicted to spider solitaire.
We dont mind watching an ad every so often but not every time we want to start a new game! Also, why ask to update an app that is for an ad that we dont want or even have Very frustrating.
Love the game play it every night. Hate the ads.

Ive enjoyed this app for a long time, but it started having ads that blocked the function of the game. Its so annoying! We refuse to pay to remove ads.
Suddenly a loud banging track plays while Im playing. Not during an ad. Cant turn it off. Have to close down the game and re-open. And the support goes to a blank page.
Are used to love this app. The last week it has started playing background music, and there is no way to shut it off. We tried to report an issue and that screen is blank. We will play this sometimes late at night and cannot tolerate noise while Im playing. All of our settings are set to sound off but that doesnt seem to help.
The Outbrain ads are particularly obnoxious & can be very difficult to close without being redirectedand this occurs just to play a new game. Nearly ready to delete the game as a result.
This was our favorite. Yes, ads are annoying! But. In the last week or so, the screen goes black, does not refresh. We delete game to avoid any bugs, whatever. When we reload it, the same thing happens within 24 hours. What the problem, you guys.

Highly offensive ads.people getting hit by a car and car crashing through cars and people..this is not an acceptable game to advertise. Am deleting app from our devices ! Disgusting.
We paid the asking price to eliminate advertisements from the game. Recently we have been getting a pop up asking us to login to the apple Game Center. This is an advertisement and an annoyance. Please stop the pop up. Microsoft now has advertisements on the same game. Apple has lowered its standard to theirs. We dont want to go to the Game Center.. We dont want to be asked to go to the Game Center. We dont want to have to click through the prompt to get to the game. We love the game, we hate the advert. If not for this we would rate the game 5 stars.
Ive played this game for a long time and all of a sudden, a few days ago, the ad at the bottom started making the page jump around which makes it hard for us to play. We cant stand the constant jumping around while trying to concentrate on the cards. Ugh. We will check back every now and then because we love this game, but if this issue isnt resolved we will download a different version.
We have decided to remove the app. We have enjoyed Spider for a longtime, but lately the ads have become too much. Too often you have to sit through 30 to 45 seconds of ads between EVERY game. The streaming ads are annoying enough, but it has become too much. Goodbye to a fun and relaxing game.
Its changed! It was great until lately when we had to hold our iPad completely horizontal PLUS today we cannot win for the life of us! Did they turn up the difficulty button or what.
Now you have ads between games AND at the bottom of the hand? Come on guys. If we have to deal with ads Ill just start playing Bubble Pop! Keep the ads at the bottom and lose the ad between games.
We deleted updates for as long as possible because we suspected the ads would get worse. After IOS 14.5, we had to update. Im deleting the app entirely now because the ads ruin the fun. Our husband will be happy to know that this app has finally managed to end our addiction to this app.
Wow, the highest add to screen time ratio Ive ever seen. If you love watching adds for other games this app is perfect for you.
When it was updated the new landscape view reduced the number of cards you can see vertically because the menu options take up so much space on the bottom of the screen. If we try to use the portrait view, the cards are too small to see well on our phone. Ive just stopped playing it.
Older versions of this app worked fine however, updates have become more and more intrusive. Banners are more touchy and it takes longer to get back. Now, they have Addit a bottom bar which takes up significant field space when viewing in landscape mode. You constantly have to scroll your screen up and down to see what cards or at the top or bottom of your pile.
The ads are so numerous and hard to exit that the game has ceased to be fun anymore.
Nothing but a revolving add may as well way tv. Just as many commercials.
Hate the new horizontal layout. We turn the pad sideways to have bigger cards, then you shrink them by putting the stack in the way! And the undo is on the opposite side now. Need to retrain our thumbs.
Now your menu options are even larger than the ads. The banner with both now takes up too much real estate on the table. By enlarging the choices and blending them with the banner space its very hard to see the cards. And, after all, thats what has kept us playing your version of this game for years and years. Now it feels crowded and user-unfriendly, like so many others. Please look to its prior iteration to improve. Thank you.
We truly loved old version. We don't like where hint and re-do buttons have been placed. Now the stacking of completed runs are on side. What's going on? We loved the old version. Do not like this version at all.
We really dislike the new appearance. We dont like where they placed the control tabs: undo, hint, menu, etc poor poor design especially for a left handed person, much less a one handed person.
Hate what has happened overnight without asking. Dont like where things are located. Why must you change things? Very disappointed.
We enjoy app, use at end of day to help relax before going to bed.
We payed for the ad-free version and have played this game for years as a fun distraction. Lately though, between games, it keeps insisting that we confirm our age, forcing us to close and reopen the app to avoid answering. They dont need to know our age! Knock that nonsense off.
Wonderful game. We are addicted. It might take us a week but we manage to win every game but the ads have become very intrusive and not relevant.
Deleting immediately. One ad popped up of a "game" where you're shooting some repeatedly while they writhe around. Yes we know it's a game but this isn't appropriate for kids or adults. Now we're getting pop ups for the NRA, a terrorist white supremacist organization. Seriously take a hard look at where you take ad $ from. We just wanted to play solitaire, not be faced with this garbage. We're trying to RELAX.
We have had this app a long time and cant ever remember a glitch. Ads wont bother you if you cut down the volume.
Now that they added all the intrusive music ADs. Before starting a new game, we turn down the sound on our phone. Then when the noisy AD has started, we close the game. Turn up our phone sound and restart the game.
We have played this game for years, but the ads are incredibly annoying to the point where we may stop playing it. Such a shame. Its always been a great game until very recently.
When we started playing this game there were only ads at bottom of screen. Now full page 30 second ads that we will never respond to. Used to enjoy this game but the ads are a turn off and we may just turn off Spider.
Not cool to interrupt the music Im listening to with your audio ads, and even though we turned off the audio on the app, the ads override them. Annoying.
We dont mind ads – we get it. You want to make money. But this latest update makes the ads start with the sound unmuted. They are loud and obnoxious. We cant play the game in a meeting anymore because an ad might pop up and rat us out! Go back to the silent ads please.

Ads at the bottom ruin the gaming and need them to be silent with option to turn on to listen to if you choose.
The game board jumping around is a new problem and making it harder for us to continue with this particular Spider Solitaire. As soon as the cards are below the bottom of the screen, the window moves back up to the top of the cards. Its sometimes impossible to pull a card down to where you want to place it. The screen just keeps popping back to where it wants to be. We have posted messages twice asking about this but still havent gotten an answer. What a shame. This used to be the best Spider Solitaire available.
One of the few games we always go back to. So many others we start out loving them but eventually lose interest, but this is a classic that never gets stale.
Too irritating to play. As soon as we send this, Im deleting the app. Ads at the top and bottom and you cant even play anymore c.
The only reason that we dropped a star was because we remember when we first started, the games were numbered so we could go back and play a game that we couldnt get out…we would love to be able to do that again. Thanks for the fun.
Love playing….. Keeps our brain active while providing stimulating engagement! It is a wonderful game that calms and soothes as it challenges the player. We would like to see less advertisements as we are sure they interest just a limited number of the users and aggravate the other users.
We have to have our daily fix. We're learning to see early that a game will be hopeless and we can start a new one. We moved to an iPhone XR. Unfortunately the controls are too low on the screen and if we dont touch them in just the right place they dont work and the screen jiggles. Can you move them up off the bottom a little.
We often turn to this game when we need to clear our mind.
