Game is a 10 out of 10 we love it.
An update has since fixed the initial issue we had. Upon playing some more, its definitely a solid game, though some occasional frame rate issues, and a few menu mechanics unfortunately dont always consistently work.
Thanks Devs for fixing that stupid bug, cuz fr this game is fire.
Great game on the surface, looks and feels really good, but so many aspects of the game feel unfinished. Timer chests that are never awarded, daily/weekly challenges that never update or refresh, leading to an extremely slow upgrade path. Also has occasional extreme spikes in difficulty. Hope it gets fixed, lots of potential here.
Cool concept and all, bosses are pretty good, but none of the daily, weekly, monthly quests reset for some reason. Often the game will break when entering dialogue with other characters, causing us to reset the game, and the daily chests are broken too. Needs work but woulda been cool if you finished the game before release.
Updating our review because they fixed the game! This is a clever and fun roguelike. There as many in the genre but few take a chance at sticking out.
Seems like a great game. The controls were smooth even on touch but we keep getting stuck after level two. Ive deleted and reinstalled a bunch of times and tried the update but no dice. Would wait to see if they fix this before purchasing.
We could not talk to cat without game freezing and losing all our data from reinstalling the game but seems to work now. We HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU IMPLEMENT A CLOUD SAVE. We plan on getting a new phone soon and do not want to lose all our progress again.
We havent ran into any crashes on iPad Pro 2022 but what we did notice the jump button when press flush on the screen is not responsive unless you touch away from the button on the far right corner.
But we cant tell because it crashes after less than an hour and then wont load up again at all. Reinstalled twice now and it just happens again. Im gonna request a refund soon if its not fixed.
Talking to the little bird at the start of the game will permanently freeze the game!! Forcing the player to uninstall the game. Im afraid to talk to ANY NPCs now. (Ive reinstalled twice now) You have a great game now PLEASE FIX.
Keeps freezing on 2nd stage after you rescue the orange dude.
Ive made it to the third world and Ive noticed some lack of attention to detail. The daily quests never refresh. Also the legendary character that has the 2% heal upon kill was only 2 coins while the rare character is 1,000 coins to unlock. Overall its a fun game with a good gameplay loop.
In the beginning of the game when you get to the cat and talk to it crashes we try to reload it but it doesnt work we deleted it as well and reinstalled but same thing happened but its still interesting and looking forward to the patch.
When we unlocked the yellow cat looking character Solo as soon as you talk to him and he he says our dream was to become a master chef the game froze. Restarted the game and when we hit play game it goes to loading screen and freezes. Had to delete the game and re download. Hoping it doesnt happen again. Playing on an iPhone 15 pro max. Please fix. Update*..after we unlocked Solo we didnt talk to him and we were able to continue BUT now before every level if there is a billboard behind Solo and we try to talk to him, game freezes. So Talking to Solo is the problem. Needs to be fixed ASAP.
Would be 5 stars but game keeps crashing on the second level at the end of the level while talking to the cat npc, please fix this cause this looks like an amazing game.
The daily challenges are bugged. We were in the game when the daily came in. The wins didnt count.
Game seems fun. Was only able to play for about 5 min. Game froze on dialogue. We killed the app and tried again. Tried about 5 times. Requested refund.
Paid game only to freeze after about 5 min in. Tried deleting and reinstalling only to freeze at the exact same spot Gave an extra star b/c we enjoyed the playable 5 minutes! Hope an update can make it playable again.
Cant seem to get the game working for too long. After a few minutes of playing the game freezes, forcing a restart. Then it just gets stuck on a loading screen every time we boot it up after that. Uninstalling and reinstalling works, but deletes our data each time. Please fix this. Am playing on the 16 pro.
This game looked interesting so we chased the bait to get more info. Then we saw this game collects no data. Boom purchased, easy decision. Love it. Would buy again.
Stair Quest is one of those jump back in for one more games. The Roguelite elements fit the game well and youll find yourself grinding to upgrade your character and weapons. Great game.
