Submarine Hunter Depth Charge is a Puzzle/Strategy game from Johan Gerhard Ottens, first launched in 25th October 2015.

What Makes Submarine Hunter Depth Charge Stand Out
Take command of Depth Charge, an elite squad of submarine hunters.
Use a variety of tools to discover the location of the hidden submarines and destroy them.
HOW TO PLAY
• This is a game of logic, arithmetic, estimation and triangulation.
• Drop buoys in the ocean water
• The buoys tell you how far they are from the submarine
• Estimate how far that distance is from the buoy
• Drag the measuring circle of each buoy to match the distance
• The enemy submarine should be at the location where the measuring circles intersect
• Fire a depth charge from your warship at that location
• If you've estimated correctly the enemy attack submarine will sink
• Find and eliminate all the submarines in the level
CAMPAIGN
The first level will familiarize you with the basics.
After that there's an additional 39 levels for you to solve.
Only the smartest will be able to get a three star score on all the levels.
CHALLENGE MODE
Play for a highscore on the Game Center Leaderboards.
Should only be attempted by experienced players,
that's why this mode only unlocks after completing level 15 of the campaign.

• SONAR BUOY
The standard tool for detecting submarines
• RANGE BUOY
Automatically places the measuring circle at the exact position
No need to drag it manually
• CAMERA BUOY
Equipped with the U96 underwater camera.
If the submarine is in viewing range it will show exactly where it is.
• DEPTH CHARGE
The standard submarine eliminating tool
• TRIPLE CHARGE
Three charges dropped in a triangular shape for maximum coverage, carpet bombing.
• HOMING CHARGE
When in range, always a direct hit!

Addictive and you have to use your brain.
This scratches that itch. Hard to define what game playing desires we have but so few of the games in the iPhone match it. If ya think you might have salt water & a protractor in your family crest – this is super satisfying. Congrats to the coder.

This is a great game that simulates aspects of ASW. We used to be able to play this game on our iPhone 5s but as of yesterday the game wont start. Im using an iPhone 5S and running iOS 11.1.1 . Any help would be appreciated as we love this game, thanks.
This is not arcade exactly… And we would be silent if someone called this a simulator… Not because it looks like a dead ringer.. But because it looks well thought out, it makes sense technically, and it looks by challenging. We think this is not your run of the mill submarine or battleship title… Many are quite amateur while this developer seems to have a good grasp of his craft.
Loved the game! Totally addictive! Way too short of a game. Finished it in a few hours. If this is a teaser edition for market research, or a beta version – we say build a more robust version! Include graphics of the charge approaching the sub underwater for explosion. Make the game longer, more complex! The concept is sound – build it.
