We like this game, but is it really necessary to have so many advertisements. Youre now getting two and they run around 30 seconds. Its ridiculous.
The different degrees of difficulty make for hours of brain-teasing fun. And its FREE.
We have tried many digital sudoku games and this is the best we found. If there were a way to gray out numbers that we are working on when taping on the number in column and row so that the user can see more clearly where that number would go in the other it would enhance digital game play greatly.
Im 71 years old, this game help us stay sharp.
While we normally consider ourselves a "solitaire man", at our wife's recommendation, we downloaded your wonderful Sudoku application this evening, and gosh am we impressed! Thank you for all that you do, and we will be sure to look for more of your fine products in the future! Eben Denton.
Love this version. It is very challenging and we like the daily challenge button because is moves to each different level. Would be a nice feature to have the daily challenge search for an a unused date on the calendar.

Just started playing first easy puzzle was great highlights and numbers available for each box was nice at a glance, Ill write more after we get to next levels. Easy puzzle spot on for beginners.
There is no fluff in the game. All we want to do is play a game. Dont give us a bunch of side comps or time limit or anything like that. We love it that its a horizontal layout. This is our go-to game.

Small complaint, but why does the timer start and then the player is required to watch an ad. Ive started games at :43 seconds on the timer due to the ad.
Im adduced to the challenge of sudoku, but this app is the only one that lets us put incorrect answers on. All the others were no challenge at all because we would put a number down in a spot that it even looked like it could belong, and if it wasnt right it wouldnt even let us. This one we can have the real challenge.
We dont mind seeing an ad when we open the game, but recently, the Xit button in the ad is directly below some small, white, and nearly translucent printing on our iPhone. The print has icons for signal strength and such. Because the X button is partially hidden, we cant exit the ad. The only way out is to quit the app. It doesnt have to move much, but it has to move.
Love Soduko, this version is also for the ad Lover. Win a game, get an ad. Select a new game, get an ad. Change from daily to challenge, get an ad. When there are ad free versions of sudoko out there there is no reason to load this one.

DELETED! This is another app Ive had forever that we enjoyed but now its absolutely destroyed by obnoxious ads. It always had ads, but now they pop up so often and blast sound at us we cant put up with it anymore. Dont know how the app game works but Id guess there are people out there buying out popular free apps from the developers and then driving the app into the ground with ads.

The app works fine. Our only complaint being its too easy. We do only the expert level and finish most puzzles between 10 and 15 minutes. Needs to be a bit more challenging.

Love this Sudoku app. Its our go to app when we want to play. We have two others but this one seem to work the sudoku algorithm just right. Having said all that, theres still a few things that need fixing. Like others have noted, the game clock should not start until the game starts. Having it start while its making you watch an add is dishonest. And just today Ive found we cant mute the sound when the ad comes on. We thought it was our iPhone so we rebooted it but we still cant mute the sound. And the ads always ignore your sound settings and blast themselves full volume. This means you cant use it anywhere you want.
Sudoku is a nice relaxing game when you are tired or stressed and need to take a break from tv, work, social media, or any other distractions! Its very helpful for us.

We love to enjoyed the sudoku game and make our brain wake up.
Great for a presleep distraction that settles us for a good sleep! We dont like the occasional bug that crashes and freezes the game completely for no apparent reason and requires a total reinstall with a loss of all data.
MANY (maybe all) of the issues we read about in these reviews before trying the game have been corrected by settings to leave things as is or do the opposite. For example you can turn off the Disable invalid note buttons so no more filtering of just the valid numbers for the selected cell. Some of the settings are worded awkwardly but thats because they retained the existing functionality, which overall is the norm. Also, during games the ads appear in their own designated space and not full screen so they dont interrupt the game. And we absolutely LOVE that we can access older Daily Challenge games so no sweat if we miss a day. Id like to see a Pause and a Restart button. Having the numbers in 2 rows is a bit awkward for us; Id prefer all in one row so 5 and 6 are right next to each other. They really should offer an option to pay some small amount for no ads. Now that the issues have been resolved, users would pay a few bucks for that.
When we play a new game the time does not change.
The game is fun, but the guess is corrected. Not as challenging with the answer.
We would like to see a no adds version. Then l would give it 5 stars.
After trying nearly all of the free sudoku apps, we have rested on this one as our favorite for actual game play. The puzzles are well-designed, and even the hard and expert puzzles are actually solve-able without notes or hints if youre good enough. That said, it is not without its faults. We dont mind ads, but they are a little excessive, (and it is a bit jarring to see somewhat threatening NRA ads constantly). And frustrating that the clock starts on your game while you are still in the ad. The timer works fine on individual games, but the app does not accurately compile data for you to see if you are beating your own times. The winner screen is visually and functionally buggy and pretty useless. Despite all of this, we still play it daily for the good games. Though we imagine there will be a day when one too many NRA ads send us over the edge and we delete it forever and go buy a sudoku book.
Too many commercials. And the commercials have sound which means we cant play the game in certain places. We hate that about the game!!! Sometimes the same commercial repeats twice and they go on and on for 30 seconds each.
Why cant we listen to music while playing the game on mute we just want to play and listen but its fun not as much as it would be While listening to music.

This game is awful! Seriously, nothing but ads. Never even finished a game, it wouldn't let us.

This last update ruined our progress! All we have is a white screen…this game was/is great for us to retrain our brain from a tumor because of the different levels.
We dont mind ad-supported apps. This app takes that to new levels. Watching a 30-Second ad to play a single game of sudoku is excessive. It also hijacks your audio whether or not sound is enabled.
We have had this game for a while -really like it but in past week have had much, much trouble getting into app or re-upping a new game – right now we cant get in to it at all without resetting our entire phone – what is going on.
This version of Sudoku is the best Ive played.
We enjoy playing the game but when the ads come up the little x in the corner is difficult to close. The timer is running on your game while the ad is up so if you are trying to beat your time it will depend on how long the ad runs.
