Two proposed modifications: (1) When we press a large number to highlight pencil marks, leave the pencil marks highlighted 'till we press the number or a pencil mark again. Allows us to study the situation better. (2) Allow us to insert our own sudoku puzzle an use the existing capabilities that are afforded.
Have tried them all. This is our favorite. By far actually.
We like the simplicity of this app. You have notes and answers on the same page so theres no need to flip the numbers to be a different option. Its about as close to playing in a weekly paper publication as you can get on an app. The only thing we dont like is that the option to use a number doesn't disappear whence you use them up. But we get it. It adds a degree of challenge that doesnt deter us. The degree of challenge in levels is good. Hard is a solid game but quickly doable for our skill level and the expert levels are quite difficult.
Great game wish it was bigger numbers.
Any time we are stressed out, we play Sudoku. This is very relaxing.
We really enjoy playing the daily games that have the possible numbers already filled in. That way we can skip the time consuming part of entering them. The fun part is solving, not filling it in. Thanks, this game is a blast.
This is our favorite sudoku app, and there are a lot to choose from. We have the paid version. We love the interface. Its clean and uncluttered. We dont pay for many apps, but we bought this one because we think its an excellent product. We only have one suggestion. We would love it if you had an option in settings for keyboard clicks. Sometimes if Im playing fast, it would be nice to hear feedback to make sure we tapped on a number. But seriously, this is our go to sudoku. We rarely use magazines for puzzles now.
Im trying to pay up get rid of ads but every time we hit the button the app freezes. Let us give you our money ugh.
If the blocks were different shades it would help eye sight of possible numbers. Also abs option for hints would be nice.
This app has a wonderful user interface and it works terrifically. The only two problems Ive encountered is; we would accidentally click a number to put in as an answer and it would count it as a mistake, there should be a way to undo that mistake. The only other is that master is to easy.
We really enjoy playing your version of sudoku. The games are complex and fun. We wish there was an easier way to fill in the pencil marks. Thanks.
Nice to have four levels of difficulty. We wish we could change the buzzer. It makes us jump like l got an electric shock every time.
Nice app except the fact when we try to purchase ad free the app freezes. Funny thats the one place the developer should not have a bug. Money lost.
Good sudoku app, minimal presentation and logical layout. Allows mistakes to be made when entering notes and highlighting of similar numbers is an intentional action so we dont feel as if our hand is being held. We would love to pay the fee to remove apps, but every time we try it just freezes (iPhone 11 running iOS 14). Thats not so cool. Will update rating if this can be addressed.
First of all, we DO NOT want any game app to work only through notifications. We want to play when we want to play and how many times we want to play without having @&$@ notifications always popping up. Second, dont tell us Ive made a mistake. We dont need training wheels when we wish to play master level games. Third, the two different sets of numbers at the bottom need to be recognizably different so we have a visual clue to which set is for notes. The mistakes we made were due to mixing up the two. We paid for the upgrade immediately because we always wish to support developers but we will retire this app off our phone.
It feels like cheating if youre not allowed to make mistakes. Add the option to disable aid.
We purchased the app through the in-app purchase but it doesnt register and retain the information. We keep having to recover lost purchase. AND, this app keeps pestering us for a review EVERY TIME we open it….remind us later doesnt mean EVERY TIME we open the app. Come on. If those things listed above didnt happen, you could possibly be receiving a higher/better review.
We were enjoying the ease of play although the game seems to be stuck on a fairly narrow set of layouts. All was fine until we made 3 fat-finger errors. The game tried to punish us by making us submit to watching an ad before we could continue. Delete App was a lot quicker and cleaner. There are enough punishments in this world today. We dont need one in our relaxation time.
Until a few days ago, now it crashes all the time. Multiple crashes in a row, rebooted our phone, keeps crashing. And when you restart the app it doesnt save the game you were working on, it puts you back in the middle of an old game.
Randomly crashes halfway through a puzzle.
We like that it has notes and text on the same keypad. Its fast and fun.
Havent played as much as we would have liked.
Its annoying and we cant turn it off.
We have played other versions of the free game and other apps always make you watch ads. This application is FREE, so ads are expected. The good thing is that the ads are not intrusive. Our name is Ricky Galvan on FB we're a real MF and just want to thank you for being BMFs.
A This is a game that really helps your mind practice the art of concentration. You cant help getting really involved finding the right Number for the right square. You get a little bit of a buzz when logical thinking pays off with the right number. We love it.
We have used several electronic Sudoko apps and yours is the best. We especially like the automatic removal of scratchpad numerals when selected in another square.
We have tried many sudoku apps, including one that was featured in an App Store writeup. This one has the best user experience of all. No fancy animations that slow down your interaction. Separate number pad for notes vs actual values (this saves a lot of interaction time). The ads are placed above the number pads so that it is easier to reach them with your thumb. Works well in landscape orientation as well. The pencil button fills a square with all values as notes (a feature we wanted for a long time but could not find until this app). Click the pencil button again and it shows notes of only the numbers that are not already in the block or row or column (this is really convenient but we prefer not to use this to give our brain more work). Click the pencil button once more and it removes all notes. This too is great interaction design (A single button rather than multiple buttons or settings). Visually very clean and pleasing as well. Notes are clearly visible (not covered by a border like in the app that was in Apples writeup).

This game has SO many benefits…it improves your thinking, its addictive, and most of all its fun to play.we totally recommend this to ages 6 and up!Why? Surprisingly its really easy to learn.

We just purchased the upgrade and a strange drumming background began playing. It doesnt stop unless we close the app or mute our phone. How do we get rid of it.

This game is the best sudoku app in our opinion. The lines and squares dont blink or turn or otherwise annoy us. And the puzzles are solvable which is not the case in some of the games.
We love this game. We try very much to stay away from the hints button. We wish there was a way to disable them. Works solid every time.

Using this app encourages focus and is relaxing. We dont mind the ads, but the San ones repeating are annoying. Overall, we like this app. Its fun and we took one star off for repeat of annoying ads.
Ive had some bad apps in our time that shut down and never do as advertised. This updated app isnt bad at all. Not a ton of adds. Its never shut down. Its seized a few times but Im sure thats because of our horrid signal. The puzzles are challenging. Im quite happy with it.
This game is so much fun, but we dont like that is goes to where you were when you were half way done when you get back on the app, because you loose a lot of progress. We also really wish it had a hint button.
We wish the notes button was a little bigger. But more-so, dark mode please.
Its very challenging and has a lot of levels.
Definitely not the best but alright, we guess. You can finish a game and the next time you play it gives you the same game again but half filled in. You have to start a new game to get a different puzzle. Then if you rotate the screen, it gets crazy and you cant play. Ive had this app for a long time now and was thinking we need to get a different one soon because theres got to be a better one out there.
Great game and very simple to play. Our one wish is that Id like to be able to turn off the auto correction and not end the game on us when we make too many mistakes.
Numbers used up in all squares should be darkened out.
