This is a game / learning tool we have had limited success with except for here. Easy to play, easy to learn.
Been playing this quite a few time and like doing sudokus in general. This is free with Apple Arcade, but after updates in has introduces a Picture Collection. Can that please be optional for the generation who all needs a trophy only?
This game is very fun and educational. It gives kids a chance to find patterns, solve puzzles, and have fun. We recommend this game not only for kids but for adults as well. This game helps with stress relief and to calm down. It can also give you daily challenges that are pretty fun. It also has hints if you get stuck and is ad free. You should download this game it one of the best games we’ve ever had.
Our wife and we love playing this game and do the daily challenge together every day as a race. One idea would be to allow us to also put in a puzzle number to play a second same puzzle during the day. Great game thanks!

The addition of perfect games in the stats would be we can ask for. Hint free is almost meaning less since you can keep guessing.
We have played Sudoku before, but that app did not explain the rules very well and we were terrible at it. This app explained the rules very well, the rules are simple. The puzzle is the challenge. We really like that you can select different colors for the numbers, it makes it easier to see a solution. It also gives you rewards, which can prompt you to keep playing. But we like the challenge and mental activity of the game. Exercise your brain!
We would like to see harder daily goals in the mix. And it would be nice if there was a section to see what number puzzles you have done and have a chance to fill in the ones you havent done yet.
This version of the game has all of the features that we were hoping for. They make it easy to see what you need to focus on to figure out the puzzles, then they add extra challenges and incentives to keep it interesting.
We really enjoy the various design choices Mobilityware added to the game. The colors and make the game visually appealing and the animations are satisfying when you complete a grouping of numbers. We also appreciate the option to get a hint. Not only does it help you get through a tough spot, it also lets you learn new strategies to solving puzzles. One thing we would like to see added is an acknowledgment of a perfect AND hint free win. We would like more reward and encouragement for not using a hint to get a perfect solution.
Best sudoku game we’ve EVER played It has three modes you could choose from cute and funny designs PLUS you can see the errors you make.
We never tried Sudoku puzzles before and Im really glad we tried this one first. Its colorful and the early puzzles are easy and become more challenging the more we do. There are goals set which change each day. Im really enjoying this puzzle game!

Easy to use, our only one grief is that sometimes we cannot click on the edge of a tile when its too close to bezel. Its not the phone case, it just once in a while just refuse to know we click on it.
We love the colors helps us find our #s even faster the only thing we would like to see is a spot where real world time is displayed you can turn on a timer for how long it takes you. We play on break alot and alil bit of an annoyance for us at least to keep having to swipe up to go to home screen an check time.
TLDR: we really enjoy sudoku but there are only two in the arcade and they both have the same problems it seems. Im a fan of PennyPress puzzle books (old school pencil and paper) and this just didnt meet our expectations. Pros: Easy to read numbers with color/theme options, easy to find settings panel, hint options, good for beginners and novices. Cons: You cant turn off visual hints – as in, you click a number and it basically shows you all the possible cells it can go in or you click the cell and it bolds or highlights the numbers it could possibly be and there is no way to turn this off. We tried turning it on expert mode and all it did was give us puzzles with fewer starting numbers, but left the visual hints the same, so not harder at all, just more time consuming. And its not something that you can just ignore, we tried, its frustrating. It feels like the game is holding your hand through the process and never stops making sure you figure it out. We want a challenge from our sudoku games, this didnt have it. We dont want the hints unless we ask, and we really dont want to see the numbers that are the only options, it makes it way too easy and we just dont feel any challenge in them at all. If youre just learning sudoku or if youre a bit rusty, this may be good for you, but if you want a real challenge, then look elsewhere.
We love the colorful sudoku tiles. It makes finding the blanks easier. But there is far too much wasted space in the interface. It makes you stretch to reach the squares on the board (and Im using a 12 mini). It would help a lot if the Setting/Goals/Play/Hint/Theme menu was at the top, then move the numbers to the very bottom and the board directly on top of that. That would allow the game to be played one handed a lot more easily. The popups and game end text also looks pretty cheesy & borderline scammy. Quite jarring given the modern board themes.
14k reviews and a 4.8? What am we missing? We loved this game until we realized it will not allow you to place an incorrect number in a square. So are you struggling? Just keep guessing until the games is happy with your choice. No thinking. No logic. Just guess. Now everyone can be an expert. Our point: if you think you have the right number figured out for a square and it is not then the game will let you know it is wrong and in doing so often allow you to know the correct answer without actually solving for it. This often leads to a snowball win. So we win without actually solving it myself. Happens all the time. Allow us to fail or at least give that as a setting option, please.
On the Daily Goals, any goal that involves back to back is virtually impossible to satisfy. To us, back to back means either (1) complete the required number of rows, columns, etc. In succession, or (2) complete the required number of rows, columns, etc. Right next to each other. Nope, neither will satisfy the goal. So now whenever we see any goals that are back to back we choose the option to select a different goal, BUT all of the alternate goals are substantially lower point values. Not fair!!! PLEASE either provide your definition of back to back or fix this!!! Would rate this game 4 or 5 stars but for this issue!
The numbers row at the bottom (or to the right, depending on orientation) is not intuitive and we keep finding myself almost hitting the wrong number because 5 is right next to 9 for some reason. Animation makes it seem slow and find myself waiting for it to be over. And when you select a cell it highlights the possible numbers even if you have the hint off, let us do the thinking? Not very satisfying experience.
Game is fine. Rank labels when leveling up mention math a lot. That is done because Sudoku can be played with any 9 symbols and there is no math involved.
Great game! Lots of fun. The experts level with notes is very challenging! Our big thumbs foil us sometimes flipping back and forth from notes to selections and we miss out on a perfect game, but thats okay. We would like to have the option to pencil in a selection and deduce if its correct or not, or have the option to not have our mistakes corrected in expert mode.
We have arithmaphobia and we are horrible at math. Numbers are fun for the first time in our life!

This version of sudoku is really fun. The color coded numbers make it easier to determine the missing number. Id recommend it to any sudoku lover.
We have wanted to learn to do the puzzles but give up on books & wood looking puzzles. This begins very, very easily and progresses at a great rate. We now actually understand much more about how to win the puzzles. Definitely recommend!

We have played many sudoku games over the years, and this has been the best for us. The numbers have different colors, helping to spot patterns more easily. You still need to use good strategy, but this feature helps with focus. When jotting a note (hypothesis for a number), if we enter a number that is impossible (e.g. The number is already in that row or column) an audible and visual alert lets you know especially helpful when Im tired and not tracking well. When a number is complete (all nine are placed) that number dims again making it easier to focus on whats important, instead. As an extra bonus, there are 3 daily goals, adding a new challenge to the game. Bravo to the developers for such a fine game play.

We enjoy playing puzzle games and this Sudoku caught our eye. We can stop playing it. We might actually start playing in the mornings when Im on the bus when school starts. Its also an amazing wind-down game to play before bed. Recommended.
Okay, so we love the app but we wish it had more themes. It only has night, modern, and plain. We think it would be cool if there was teal or blue or purple. Please try to make more themes.

We love this game and the design of this one in particular. We love the way the numbers light up when you tap a specific number, the colors, and counter. It allows us to effectively play in different ways. Sometimes we count out the boxes, rows, and columns 1-9 and sometimes we fill in the rows and columns by playing specific numbers until we exhaust them. The colorful design keeps it appealing and easy to identify what numbers have been used. Thank you!
