We love this sudoku app and its the only one Ive kept throughout the years. Our ONLY con is that there is no dark mode. We play this game most often in the middle of the night when awake with our babies and the white screen is blinding! Other than the minor flaw, Im in love with nearly every aspect of this app.
The only con about this app is the absence of dark mode.
The ads are excessive and really annoying when one sudoku benefits are supposed to calm the mind.
Unless you pay for no advertising you get several ads per game :-(.
If you dont want ads just turn ur WiFi off (you just get 3 chances.
Every time we finish a section an ad plays. At least 5 ads play during a game and after one plays after. We think its super excessive. We really like this game, but the ads can be frustrating while playing.
Love playing but way way too many ads.
We love this app, but it is unusable at the moment. We have an IPhone 15 pro. Whenever an ad pops up, there is no way to close it, no matter how much time passes. It looks like the corners are out of frame so we physically cannot press the x button. This forces us to close the app and reopen it until we dont get an ad. Super frustrating that we cant play our sudoku.
Cant get through a single sudoku without multiple ads that take forever to close. No thanks.
Id give this more stars if it werent for the crazy amount of ads in the game. We love the game itself and the difficulty and levels are great. But everytime we do anything theres an ad. Its pretty annoying.
We would like this game a lot more if commercials were not constantly interrupting our game. Its extremely annoying.
Fun but some ads never close. You have to force quit the app to get back to the game and from there, you lose all your progress in the current puzzle. A waste of time that needs to be addressed.
Im disappointed. We loved this game until we started getting ads almost every 60 seconds mid level. Every time you finish a row, column, square, or number you get yet another ad. Not worth it. We spend more time watching ads than playing the game. Disappointing.
Yes you can pay 14.99 for no ads but Id never pay that amount. If it was 5.99 or something then sure. And Im not above putting up with ads but the ads here are so frequent and usually require you to click the link to download the ad and then close it and come back to the game. The game is almost unbearable. Its one thing to sit through and watch an ad. Its another to make you sit there and click on stuff to take you to the download page, close it and come back. Even if we did find 14.99 to be worth it, Id never support a company using such invasive ads to begin with.

This is an amazing game and it isnt too addicting. We play it every day. Its so calming and relaxing. When you get home from work its so nice to be able to just sit there and play some puzzles. Its also very entertaining like for example, we got from home from work late bored and tired when we played the game and completed a puzzleIts like sensational. We highly recommend it for any age. Our our son also likes it. Not even just likes it he loves it.
This is our favorite app on our phone, also our favorite game in general. We love how you can customize the settings, lil events that take place, and how overall simple and all is. The only thing we want, and we beg, please please add a dark mode. We love playing this before bed, and the white background becomes straining on the eyes super fast. We play with our brightness on the lowest setting with our white point all the way down AND with night shift on–it's still sometimes too much and we move to play something else. Every night we think the same thing so we finally decided to comment on it and hope others feel the same. <3.

Starting in the easy is fun. Nice feature: hints. The ads are a bit intrusive and we have to fully exit and return to complete our games. We dont have to pay any fees, so we guess thats the charge. We just wish theyd include a skipbutton on the ads when they come up.
We hate the ads if they would take away the ads we would play all day everyday with them ads we get off every time b/c we dont like watching them at all.
$15 for no ads is slightly egregious, but okay, we still purchased. Very good otherwise, no notes.

We updated from iOS 18 to 26.1 recently, and now we cant make any progress on a game without getting bombarded with ads. If we look away from the screen, they stop. The minute we look at the screen again, they continue over and over. This has driven us to buy the ad-free version because we enjoy the game so much.
Good brain teaser for firing the unused neurons.
Have puzzles with the numbers on the side, just like multiple choice, and speed right through the puzzle by picking all the right numbers.
We love this app. This and wordle get our brain started every morning, and whenever we need something to do we'll play the first try challenge. We do have some suggestions if the developer is interested… Stats don't seem to be updated from "first try challenge" or themed events. E.g. We just completed a "hard" in 1:56 in the winter magic event, but in our stats our best hard game time is 5:11… We've beaten 5:11 many times our big thumbs and mistakes… Most of our "mistakes" are because we're playing fast and switching notes on and off and we didn't hit the notes button solidly enough for it to take. Could maybe the font color or background color change in notes mode so we've got a more visual indicator? Scoring: it'd be cool to get bonus points for completing a puzzle without using the notes feature, and losing a few points for mistakes might be an idea. Thanks for a great app.
Our mom has been playing for years.one day we were wondering how to play and our mom said get your iPad we can get for youand we got it it was hard at first but now we love it! But Ive noticed that every time we get three mistakes it gives us a ad this frustrates us and to get no ads it makes you pay $14. Dont get us wrong we love this game but its frustrating when ever a annoying ad come up. But either way we absolutely love this game but please please have no ads. Dont hate us for this-your friend Im not saying.
We love this game! This game challenges your brain and we love challenges to get our brain going in the mornings and all day long.
Overall excellent way to play sudoku. Genuinely, our only complaint is that when you ask for hints one of the things it will do is offer to fill out the entire possibility board for you – but the way it does so is immensely frustrating. Itll leave some boxes with only a single number, even though when we look at it, it seems multiple numbers could possibly slot into it. Without a way to explain why it has singled in on this particular number, Im left very unsatisfied if we have to use this tool for a puzzle solve – it doesnt help us improve or understand that step in the solution. Ill be honest and say that it could be a skill issue on our part; Im relatively new to this, but Im solving everything except Extreme difficulty puzzles without needing this tool. Maybe its a glitch, maybe its the way the puzzles are generated, but whenever this hint is given, it makes us feel like something isnt right.
The layout is great and we love the options. We just want a dark mode theme.

This is a great app and its fun and great for your brainyou can purchase $15 for no ads otherwise the ads is there before you start the game and after you finish a game and also in between the games – that part is awful.. Because you are so studying the game and then out of the blue an icon pops up and then takes you to an ads and then back to the game. Oh boy we so dislike that. We love the game and it got great features and love the subtle click sound when entering numbers. We would give a Five Stars but it just the ADS. Ads ads..yikes.
The latest update floods the game with pop up ads. After seemingly every entry, a pop up ad appears that destroys any continuity in the game. Horrible. Do not download this game and we will uninstall it.
