We miss the old Sudaku Joy, with easier ways to get help to check if a needed guess is right or wrong, and a long list of easiest to most difficult to find every day. But we still enjoy a sudoku puzzle several times a day.
We like the app but we like to play sudoku while we listen to our podcast. The adds that pop up at the bottom of the screen while Im playing sudoku cause our podcasts to pause and it is extremely frustrating.
We truly enjoy this app and have an annual subscription. However, we just finished the event designated Chinese New Year. The graphic revealed when all puzzles are complete shows a family with clearly Caucasian features drawn standing with Chinese lanterns, implying they are celebrating the Chinese New Year. Yes, the world is a melting pot of cultures and the holiday can be celebrated by everyone. However, wouldnt it honor the Chinese culture more to depict at least ONE character with Asian features and skin tone? Im Caucasian with dear Asian friends, and your use of this illustration just made us uncomfortable due to its either deliberate or clueless cultural bias. To the developers of this app, can you please consider reviewing and updating your event illustrations. You can do better than this. BTW, most little kids dont play Sudoku so, could you also consider using graphics aimed at a diverse age group, instead of the current childrens book style illustrations you currently use. We wish you every success and encourage ongoing improvements to the Sudoku Joy app.
Game was great and then they introduced ads at the end of completing a sudoko board. We dont play any of the other games. Im now looking for a new sudoko app.
We are about ready to delete this app. The app itself is great, but the ads kill the joy. We get ads before and after the game, we get ads to earn an extra chance at the game play. But, ads during the game, ads that kill the radio app Im listening to are just too much. Its too annoying.
Ive been playing sudoku joy for years.. Its the only app we havent gotten bored with and deleted.. We even paid for no ads.. AND THEN our app crashed, every time we would try and get on it, we would just kick us out.. So we deleted the app and reinstalled it.. BAM, start at level 1 for every thing, all our stats gone, points gone.. We were over level 100 for a few games.. Im so frustrated we cant decide if Im keeping the app or not because Im so angry.
The ads in this game are awful. Sometimes they wont even close when you click shut on them. This forces you to close and reopen the app. Im deleting it.
Daily challenge calendar is broken again.
Great game, but the daily sudoku puzzle calendar no longer works after the update from 3 weeks ago. Please fix.
Game does not remove notes when a number is placed. We checked settings and that option was selected. Then it asked us to sign up for premium and locked up on that screen so we couldn't do anything but shut down the app.
Ads of what appeared to be breasts and penises flashed across screen after a play. Swiped up and closed the game fast since we were in public. Is this allowed on games by this company? Definitely hope there is an age restriction to allow such porn to appear. Haven't played the game since.
We used this app with some satisfaction for a while, but now Ive noticed that the apps advertisement are not just to sell products but to push an agenda. Today, a pro-abortion advertisement popped up. Since we believe in the sanctity of all life, we are absolutely offended by this type of politicized advertisement and will delete the app. We just wanted to play a game on our phone, not be assaulted by someone elses political views.

It was awesome until it got stuck. Ad won't exit and we can't get back to the game.
Love playing sudoku, keeps our brain cells active.
Love the app and the functionality, great look and feel and additional games The app keeps the phone on indefinitely. We use Sedona to sleep and every so often we fall asleep and wake up with our phone overheating. Wish it would let phone sleep after 10-15 minutes of idle time :/ thats why it lost a few stars for us.
The Instagram ad showed a circular version. There is no circular version. Its just regular. DELETE.
Havent found anything too different from other Sudoku, other than it is easy on the eyes. Have not yet tried the game bundle yet. Hope it is as good as Sudoku.
We love the color coding and that once a number is located in 9 places on the board then it is removed from the list. It feels very rewarding.
Mind game. Old age people should play this game, to pass the time, your mind become active in positive way. Good for children also above 5 years.They can learn a lot and their brain gets active.
We think sadly is really fun you should try it out and if you don't under stat search it up.
We came across an ad on Facebook about a circular sudoku game. We thought it was interesting and would be a new challenge. We clicked on the ad and downloaded it. Once we opened it, it was just like every other sudoku game. This game is not how its advertised on Facebook.
Easy to learn, enjoyable to play.
We really enjoy playing this game but today it won't stay open. We tried uninstalling and reinstalling but get the same results.

Its fun; we love the little sounds as we complete it and its colorful. Best of all: It makes us think. In our seventies-its crucial. Sadly most of our errors arent choice errors; they are problems with our coordination! Have a great day.
When did it become okay for adds to have volume even when you have your phone on silent mode? Seriously! Talk about a-h*le design!! Cant play the game most times we would normally be able to because its a crap shoot if the sound on an ad will go off on silent mode. Fix this.
We love this app but we loved it more before the update if we recall correctly there werent any bugs to be fixed in the first place.

There are more games than just Sudoku that you dont need to download.
Pretty good sudoku game. Knocking off a point because they reward you finishing a game by making you watch an ad.
We send a lot of time waiting for appointments and this game helps pass the time.
The actual sudoku gameplay is just fine, but the ads are really buggy. They never play long enough to skip them – the ad just freezes, then we have to close and restart the game.
Its a pretty good game. We play it in the mornings and it helps to stimulate our mind.
This is a very addictive and well-designed game. We really love it. However, recently that we have passed 200th level at Expert difficulty, the difficulty of the games has drastically decreased. Its more of a Medium level or even Easy than Expert. We hope this problem gets fixed soon too. But thank you for this awsome game.

We use to love playing sudoku on this app but the update has a color scheme that is hard to look at and significantly slows us down. Ill have to get a new app.
We used to love this game. The update ruined it.
When we use the hints that act like tips, theres a chance for some of the boxes to become black squares around the squares that explain what to do next for a hint.
We very much dislike this update. The colors are weird and the text it too small for us to read. We would like there to be a way to make the text bigger for our blind self. We really like this app and we can deal with some of the update changes but we cant read anything very well anymore.
Im tired of the whole mistakes part of this app. We get its there so that people dont just randomly guess numbers, but people that actually want to play sudoku correctly arent going to do that, they will play it properly. 95% of the mistakes Ive made were because we either thought we were in notes mode when we wasnt, or because our fat fingers accidentally pushed the wrong button. And instead of having us watch an ad in order to continue playing the game, it just restarts the game. We literally got 90% of an expert level game, about 35 minutes into the game, and we had to restart. Thats ridiculous. Pen and paper sudoku would let us finish the game. Either have a way to disable the mistakes feature or at least save the game from where you made your last mistake. Im not tryin to invest another 30 min of our time just for the app for pull this sort of thing again just because our finger slipped and hit the wrong button.
We have a very mixed opinion on this app. The game is a lot of fun. But you will absolutely get SWAMPED by ads. They are very intrusive video ads that will override anything you may be streaming on Bluetooth. The app plays moving ads at the bottom of the page while you are playing the game. Very distracting and annoying.
Im so tired of getting ads after completing a level in sudoku. The moment we finish a level, an ad immediately pops out, so we force close the game to not have to deal with it. However, the moment we go back to do another level, we have to redo the level we finished when we first closed the app. Im absolutely tired of it. Also after the update, the sudoku puzzles just dont feel the same anymore.
Ugh … This one is so poor, makes the sudoku game so hard to see. Ive been playing it non stop for the last few months but not enjoying it anymore.
Sudoku can be very relaxing. And it definitely teaches patience.
Simple gameplay, not a casino emulator. Could have a Dark Mode, but no other complaints.
Some games are easy and some not so much fun. Love that we can play games in all levels of difficulty. We play 1 or 2 games daily.
We like it and it keeps us from getting board plus there not much adds.
