Love the app, love that there is constant communication from devs on reviews as well! Most recent review of ours was about the Amazon scam page and got a reply that you were already aware and trying to correct the issue. Have completed many puzzles of differing variants and love to see the constant influx of more puzzles. Try as we might, cant solve them all without guessing or hints, allowing us to see some different ways to solve. 5 star worthy. Would give more if possible!
Overall, we love the experience of the variants and we love the UIs many features. Hands down, the best sudoku app. We stopped looking after finding this one.
What an awesome app. For some who may not know a little secret. Every row, column, box =45 1-9. Just though we would share Love the variants.
Need a killer sudoku calculator. Add that and this will be perfect.
We were first turned on to variant sudoku thanks to the Cracking the Cryptic YouTube channel. We used their app and website for a while, but we always felt their user interface was lacking for our preferred style. Then we discover this app and was immediately impressed with the interface and the range in which we get to modify the settings. Now, may family is often upset with us because we spend more time with Logic Wiz than we do with them! If we could request one setting feature, we would love to be able to set our default pencil marks to center marks rather than corner marks. We know its just one button press, but when you do as many puzzles as we do across all of their apps (free plug here for their Suguru app!), its the minorest of annoyances when we start a pencil mark and have to erase and do it again in the intended setting.
Tons of variety, helps build cognitive flexibility, great interface. All around 5 stars.
We love this sudoku app. The best out there.
The app is spectacular, with amazing variants and great hints. The support staff goes above and beyond – any time we’ve had any issue, from questions about boards to bugs, the response is almost immediate and always helpful. This app exceeds every expectation.
Huge fan of variant sudoku in general – this app has a nice variety and we love the more unique approaches on the adventure tab. Our only gripe is that the ads can be really pervasive. We think the puzzles are worth it in the end, but there are definitely times where we just close the app and find something else to do. Still though, it is a very good time in general.
The different variable games available are fun and makes the app worthwhile, but the number of ads is ridiculous. Pregame ads, mid game ads (so many mid game ads), post game ads.
New boards added for weekly fun, hundreds of boards available all the time. All varieties, good features.
We’ve reviewed this app once before highlighting the depth and breadth of the puzzles. (I played the free version for two months and was so impressed we bought the app.) Either way you choose you will not be disappointed. Hours of entertainment and logic learning skills. But Im actually adding to this review the fact that the development team truly pays attention to its players. We were unable to comprehend the logic of a puzzle even after reviewing the hints. We took a chance at writing an email and not only did we get a detailed response explaining the logic – we were informed we could email again with any other questions!! Who does this!!! Truly remarkable! What a great app and team. We wish them much success!!

Fun puzzles, best UI only issue is that there’s not enough puzzles for free users and not enough for premium to make us want to spend $20. $20 is outrageous, should only be like $4.99.
Part of the challenge is remembering which variant youre playing. Good fun!
This is easily the best sudoku app. We’ve tried several and tend to get bored with them quickly. The levels of difficulty offered, the incredible variants, intuitive controls, and regular/creative challenges make this our favorite game app. The hints are also extremely well designed and written, and we feel like Im able to follow along and learn the strategies. One of the few apps we’ve paid for the full version, totally worth it.
The user interface and available tools are second to none. The developers are constantly improving the tools and adding new variants. They even provide lessons on various advanced solving techniques. The sense of community and consistent feed of new puzzles keeps us coming back daily.
This is hands down the best variant sudoku app available. The puzzles are well thought out. The solving experience and features are intuitive and make the app easy to use. And the hints help when you get stuck on particularly complex puzzles or when you missed something obvious In the premium version, you get access to more variants and an upcoming master level of difficulty. These things, plus no ads, make it absolutely worth paying for. Im on a lifetime subscription. And if youre a variant sudoku lover, its a no-brainer to pay for premium. The app also includes weekly special challenges which have a theme and sometimes use new variants not otherwise available in the app or they combine the variants in fun ways. The app also has educational guidance which is really helpful if youre new to a variant. And there are older posts with introductions to advanced solving techniques which are also helpful. (By the way app developers, you could totally create another section of the app for those to make them easy to find! And maybe link to them in the hints when a certain technique is used in a puzzle, eg – an x wing).
New to sudoku? This app has you covered with easy games and hints. Want to improve your game? Try out the many levels. When you get stuck there are strategy explanations. If your an expert this app challenges you at the master level. A great user interface makes it easy to enter digits, find patterns, and play many different sudoku variants. Well worth the purchase price. To the developers who work to make this app one of the best THANKS!

We paid to unlock all puzzles, tons of puzzles at varying difficulties with lots of mechanics (including new ones)
Love all the different types of games!
The game is enjoyable in that there are quite a few variants of Sudoku, and we love all the features, but there are some issues. As one simple example, on board 14 we got down to cells D1,D2 & I1,I2 each having 5 & 7 as potential solutions. Another problem with this app is that the solver/helper defaults to hidden single most of the time when you click on it for help on a board. That wouldnt be a problem if it really were true each time you used it. It would seem the apps algorithm just falls back to that when it cant explain why a cell should be a certain value.
This is a great sudoku app! The variants are great. Unfortunately the ads interrupt audio from other apps, even if no audio plays on the ad itself. We listen to podcasts while playing and the ads stop our audio every time we finish a puzzle. Its very annoying.
The wide range of difficulty includes hints that are comparable to Brainium, and they help you learn strategies with variations!
The only app we actually pay for a premium membership.
We’ve always been fascinated by sudoku, but struggled to get into it fully. Theres been tons of sudoku apps we’ve tried. Most are awful, because they have a bad solve engine, where tapping things Is awkward. And they tend to be just classic sudoku Then we discovered cracking the cryptic, and loved their videos. So we tried some of their apps and they were great. But those apps have a limited number of puzzles. This is the gem of all gems of sudoku apps. It has all of the variants that you could want, and a wide range of difficulties, and the interface is just perfect, and they keep updating with new features and variants. We feel like Im never ever going to run out of puzzles, even if we only play our favorite types. Easily worth the unlock price, though the free offering is super generous too.
This is full of interesting and challenging sudoku variations. A big thank you to the developers for the great controls, easy to view and read layout, and all the variations on Sudoku.

It is actually the only game we paid for. Everything about it is perfect. Beautiful and intuitive UI. Tons of variants that takes sudoku and logic games to a new level. Tons of beautiful handcrafted puzzles. Hints that actually teach us new strategies. Detailed strategy explanations and come Friday there is a themed weekly challenge which we just love. Do your self a favor and give it a try and thank us later.
Im honestly just so happy to find a sudoku variants app !!! Literally what we’ve been waiting for edit: keeping the 5 stars for obvious reasons! But we really wish the build section included the variant types. It would be so so fun for us we would honestly pay for that to exist, we dont know where else to find a build-your-own than this app (which is pretty cool on its own!) but we know of none that have it with kropki, sandwich, etc. And wish this had it </3.
We stopped doing Sudoku because it wasnt challenging enough anymore. Then, we started looking into variants and discovered this app! Now Sudoku is fun again! There are so many variants, and with weekly challenges that combine variants, this app never gets old!

Great games! We’ve been loving sandwich lately. Please make a way to favorite certain puzzles and make them shareable! There are some amazing puzzles here that are worth saving.
After the first few days of only seeing banner ads at the bottom, the app starts interrupting play to force you to watch an ad mid-puzzle. Deleted app when we saw they were asking $20 for the ad free experience. Amended review to say its the cost of a fast food meal developer response is some trash.
